To the people of Hallendren, Lifeless are seen as expensive tools. Drained of Color and often stitched together if not made of bone, they are reanimated somehow through the use of breath. They do not need to eat, they do not talk, and they follow their master's orders.

It was strange that tonight, an awakened rope would spring to life and bind the Lifeless Clod. Dispatching the Lifeless while bound was not easy, but at least it was possible, and that's exactly what was done. Broken and left in parts too unrecognizable to be repaired, Clod was no more.
