Re: [DAY 2] The Syndicate's 2013 Game of Champions
I am worried about the specter of Zodac in this vote today. Given how he operates I have to believe he picked Media as one of his two people last night and god knows who as his other person (thanks Epig for the explanation of the role). So, I feel better waiting to vote for Media until the 3rd day. Unfortunately, that doesn't leave me with a great candidate to vote today. I'm considering one of the VAL's but I'm not totally convinced anymore that Lizzie is bad, and I'm not sure about Vomps or A Person either.
On the other hand, maybe I'm worrying too much about Zodac. Maybe he would just kill Media and we'd be done with it. How are the rest of you feeling that are considering a vote for Media? Mongoose, I'd love to hear your thoughts but you are really constrained with respect to being able to discuss freely. Maybe you could try and I'll see if I get it. Everyone else, I'd appreciate your thoughts on this.

Right now I am torn between VAL and Epi. I think a good point was made that Epi did not act in the civ best interest yesterday and he seems to have gone unscathed as well. However, Epi has been contributing actively and is always a threat to baddies, so it could be a way to get him out early.juliets wrote:I am worried about the specter of Zodac in this vote today. Something just occurred to me.
I think OK Computer sealed his own fate.
If this is true:
"So, all night actions should be randomized. That'll be fun."
Then that means Zodac's targets would be random also, no?

Hedge, this was Media in our game American Gods and the highest level was chaos (randomly redirect night powers).
Epig, that's a very interesting point you make about Zodac's targets. Maybe Media is the way to go today after all.S~V~S wrote:Media: She controls what you see, what you think, what you know. He may have already answered this, but: It would seem to me that, because of Petey Piranha Plant's ability, it is safest to be the first person to vote at this point, and it would be unwise for PPP to choose number 2.
1. You could vote before or after the host, technically becoming number 1 or number 2 on the poll.
2. Any number of non-players keeping track of the game could vote the final poll option, potentially rendering the number 2 completely useless to PPP.
If this has already been discussed to death

I'm still hesitant to vote for the Sexy Beast, today, though. Something still feels off about this whole thing. Like his sexiness is distracting us from something that should have stuck out to us early on. I'm not set in my ways yet, I am still considering a vote for the Naked Red One. That's a whole different kind of sexy that I don't think I want to keep around. Plus her "Baddie hunting" may just be her looking for a good target for the next night. I don't know, though. I'm going to reread her when I get a chance today.
You just keep me hanging on,

Well at this point Lizzy has been the most active and participating, while AP and Vomps have not. I know AP has a histroy of being lynched early, whereas we often give Vomps a pass. As others have said this id the culmination of all the games of this year so step it up or get voted out is how I feel. Vomps has posted 6 times and and the one below where he voted and gave no reason is the start.juliets wrote:Hedge is there a specific reason you picked el Wombat over L or A? I figure there are two ways to go about it. Lynch lizzy and then vomps and AP will not "follow" her votes or lynch vomps and AP and then there are no vote followers. However, lizzy is playing, and giving reasons for her votes even if bad ones.

Re: [DAY 2] The Syndicate's 2013 Game of Champions
Would you believe me if I told you I may have forgotten to send my night PM?

I think OK Computer sealed his own fate.
If this is true:
"So, all night actions should be randomized. That'll be fun."
Then that means Zodac's targets would be random also, no?
I think Epi is right about this, and I don't see how Voldemort could be excluding roles not on his team; it just doesn't seem logical or plausible. I will almost certainly be voting him today. I don't see why there's an Epi suspicion right now, with useful stuff like this that he's posting, and I ALWAYS think he's bad.insertnamehere wrote:Actually, I got to choose 3 roles to exclude from the chaos. Myself, obviously. Zodac, also obviously. And Moriarty.
By the way, juliets, Media was a super creative idea for a role!
