Would you rather be a lamia or a minotaur?

Re: Would you rather - -

Posted: Wed Mar 04, 2015 8:00 pm
by S~V~S
Thats a hard one; the Minotaur would be more "socially acceptable". Perhaps only marginally so, but Lamia being a child eating demon is pretty awful. On a personal level, I sympathize with the Minotaur more, being the child of a beast and a crazy beast loving Mom myself. And Lamia was not the innocent victim of other peoples lusts, as was the Minotaur. Her lovers wife caught her

So I would say Minotaur.

That's like asking if I would rather listen to Homer or Patty and Selma.

Give me talking dogs any day.

Mario or Luigi?

I have no clue? And the dog cat thing, cats would probably be nastier, more snide. They might be more interesting to talk to.

Um, Luigi, I guess. My cousin married a man named Mario, and he was an asshole to her.

Trapped on an uncharted island; would you rather be with a hard working mute, or a lazy person who was an amazing conversationalist?

Hard working mute. (I can talk enough for at least 2 people, lol) (I agree with the talking dogs too, I don't think I really want to hear what kind of shit my cat would say to me. :haha: )

Dark chocolate or white chocolate?

Luigi. Always liked him better.

Dostoyevsky or Tolstoy?

Re: Would you rather - -

by S~V~S
Hard one. But Dostoyevsky. I found The Brothers & Crime/Punishment more accessible in general. Dostoyevsky seemed more intimate to me than Tolstoy, with the exception of Anna Karenina, which was my intro to the Russians. I struggled through War & Peace several times before I finally finished it.

Artists; Dutch Masters or Italian Renaissance Masters?

Specifically, I like the Dutch portraits more, but in general, I prefer the Italian works; I especially like the ethnocentric religious scenes.

A large desk or a small one?

Blue ink pens or black ink pens?
In general, blue, unless it's a formal document (like a tax return). At work I use four different colors: Black is for paperwork and general use, blue is for grading tests, green is for marking up papers, and red is "You cheated or plagiarized, ya dingus. No credit."

Dave Chappelle or Chris Rock?

James for her voice, Simone for her attitude. I like "Mississippi Goddam."

Ride a roller coaster or go skydiving?

Be born on Christmas Day or February 29th?

Re: Would you rather - -

Ha ha ha ha ha, Definitely Christmas. 2/29 is a bad luck day for my family. My Mom passed on Leap Day, and my brother both met & married the witch who ruined his life (all in different years).

Would you rather have been born where you were, or would you rather have grown up in a different place?

I'm happy with where I was born, even if it was never ideal.

While the Rolls-Royce has better name recognition, I think the new ones are stuffy in appearance. Give me a Maybach. So German.

Have dinner with Frederick Douglass or Harriet Tubman?

Autocratically choose the weather for a month or have the weather controlled by daily popular vote for a year?

Re: Would you rather - -

Autocratically; those monsters would have a year of 85 degrees when 75 is actually the perfect temperature.

Re: Would you rather - -

Both impossible, but I'll take Ronda. It seems she can have her off days, as opposed to the wall in which I'd smash to bits with a car.

Role checker; best role or worst role?

Best if you're town, worst if you're scum. :haha: But seriously, I think if you have a role checker, it should be tempered with the possibility of false information. Otherwise, where's the skill, ya know? It's too much info.
