You don't think your complete dismissal of everything I said completely crushed discussion?
No. First of all "everything you said" consisted of one question of no more than a dozen words. I merely offered an opinion on it when asked. I fully expected others to say "I agree with Malin because..." or "I disagree with Malin because..." I thought that was how discussion was supposed to work. Do I have to agree with you in order to encourage discussion?
Really? Because you seemed pretty read to kill my discussion from the get go.
I think Alizon was more guilty of killing discussion than you were, though.

Voting for someone who can't be lynched today is a good way of avoiding accountability.
However, this post of yours is quite interesting to me.

Well I wasn't. I don't know what else I can say. I can't control what other people choose to discuss or not to discuss.

Of course not directly.
However, you can help form attitudes and such.
In addition, I do believe we have reached such a discussion. I do believe that the discussion about Mary and entjen, etc has been in this line of reasoning. So, I do think people eventually responded to my question, just not directly.
You however, chastised Alizon YESTERDAY for voting someone who was not going to be lynched. Why did you vote me?

Flase. There is a difference between voting for someone who won't be lynched (which I had no way of knowing at the time of my vote anyway) and voting for someone who CANNOT be lynched because the hosts explicitly told us not to vote for her. Please stop mischaracterising my statements.

Anyway, I was mostly just giving Alizon a hard time for not reading the hosts' instructions. I didn't seriously think she would have voted that way unless it was an oversight.

Not a lot of time. Voting Mary. She never responded to my questions and I think she realizes she's been caught. She isn't bothering to defend herself or even offer any suspicions other than Jennet, a suspicion that only really makes sense if Mary is a Death eater. Now she's just posting nonsense. Definitely looks like she's given up.
Jennet I haven't forgotten about the points I want to make about the Margaret lynch. I also think it's interesting that Karin voted for Mary even though the points brought up about them both are remarkably similar and Karin refuses to offer any insight into her votes.

I can agree with you about Karin. I think I made a comment about her a little while back (Day 4 I believe) in that she has done nothing but vote. Though it seems to me that she is not the only one who's been quiet today.

@ merga - no - I've not, when I've been mafia before, people's natural habits and such kinda draw that line for them. I've not been a baddie in a sock game before so I figure there may be different discussions.

Well, Agnus I still want to know what you have to say but I've got to go out and am not sure i'll be back in time for the lynch. I continue to have bad feelings about Mary trying to pursue the teachers when there are baddies to find, and I don't like the way she uses inflammatory words to describe them ("super shady indie team"). And then on top of that, she's not defending at all, just writing in different languages, laughing, and reprinting something from GOT. I agree this seems like "i'm giving up" behavior. She really feels bad to me so I'm going to go ahead and vote for her.

Not my intention. I quickly read over the exchange-- there is a difference, and I apologize. Also to be fair, this is the FIRST time I've mischaracterized you. Nice try.
Still stands: you are vowed to lynch low posters, yet you vote me-- for still no reason given. Still.

There are four of them. They are Minerva McGonagall, Filius Flitwick, Pomona Sprout, and Severus Snape. They are the heads of the four houses of Hogwartz. They are independents. They did not begin with BTSC. They all have secrets.
Hope that helps.

Day 5: Mary had a little problem

The students had had it. They were definitely not going to sit on their arses while someone was out to get them (even though they were failing miserably). Sensing she might be in danger of ending like some of her more unfortunate peers, Mary Eastey thought it brilliant to seek refuge in the boy’s bathroom. There, she stood with her back to the door, her hands clutching either side of the sink, her dark hairy head bowed.
‘Don’t’ crooned Moaning Myrtle’s voice from one of the cubicles. ‘Don’t… tell me what’s wrong… I can help you…’
‘No one can help me,’ said Mary. Her whole body was shaking. ‘I can’t do it… I can’t… it hasn’t worked… and unless I do it soon… he says he’ll kill me. ..’
Mary was crying – actually crying- tears streaming down her pale face into the grimy basin. She grasped and gulped and them, with a great shudder, looked up into the cracked mirror and saw a group of witches staring at her over her shoulder.
Mary wheeled round, drawing her wand. Instinctively all the others pulled out their own. There was a loud bang and the bin behind Margarethe exploded; Entjen attempted a Leg-Locker Curse that backfired off the wall behind Mary’s ear and smashed the cistern beneath Moaning Myrtle, who screamed loudly; water poured everywhere and Karin slipped over as Mary, her face contorted, cried,
‘AVADA-‘
‘SECTUMSEMPRA’ bellowed Märet from the floor, waving her wand wildly.
Blood spurted from Mary’s face and chest as though she had been slashed by an invisible sword. She staggered backwards and collapsed on to the floor with a great splash, her wand falling from her limp right hand. The other witches stood there in shock. Merga hesitantly walked towards Mary’s uncontrollably shaking body in a pool of her own blood. She looked at Mary’s face then nodded to the others. She then bent, dipped two fingers in the blood and wrote Mary’s name on the wall. Silently, they walked out and left her to bleed to death. Several hours later, Mary was joining Myrtle in haunting the boy’s bathroom, but couldn’t help hold back a curse:
‘How could they get my f***ing name wrong?’
Mary Eastey has been lynched. She was Lucius Malfoy.
It is now Night 5. You have 23 hours to send in your PMs.

going with 2. 2 is a pretty good number. it's numerically more than one, but not quite as much as 3. but like... really if you're counting all the way up to 3 it just seems like you're trying way too hard ya know? "woo look at me, i can count up to 3, i learned how to do muggle math la-di-da" still it's pretty good to make a little effort, so 2.

I think I will be loking at Alizon for this next lynch.
She was a big pusher of lynching low posters.
She defended Mary and was actually saying she would come up teacher.
She has been using twisted logic to defend her points with healthy doses of snarkabilly.
When Merga was trying to keep focus on Mary and Entjen she was trying to geit on Jonsdotter.
Her vote for Maret came across as without reasoning. even after re-reading I see no reasoning.
There is more but I suggest you read her posts yourself to form your own opinion.

Why exactly did you, or Malin, vote for me?
"Talking like a baddie" is the only reason (Malin, I believe) that has been supplied. That's incredibly vague, and has no real meaning to it. Please, explain to me why you voted me. You campaigned for low posters, yet voted a high poster. You have yet to explain this-- only brush it away.

I voted you because you sounded bad to me. I asked you a "why" question and your only response was "..." And you dismissed my idea regarding low posters with a suspicious gamblers fallacy.
