This is the part where I go to bed. I will hopefully sleep through the night and not be up when mafia day ends. And will catch up in the morning. Good luck to all contestants.

Whoever wins the puzzle challenge (I know it's not me, I didn't finish it), if you are able to share the reward--especially if you can share with multiple people, I'd appreciate a portion. I'm getting low on both food and drink. Host said it would restore both, so if i could get a sip and/or a nibble, especially since I'm still poisoned, I'd appreciate it. I also recognize you probably can't share it with everyone, and that I'm not the only person with low levels, so I trust you to make a good and fair choice. Just wanted to put a request in there since I won't likely be awake when such a request may be requested. And Golden had said initially that he'd share, so I'm assuming that such is the case so I'm feeling ok requesting. (I'm also assuming that either treat restores both hunger and thirst, but that could be wrong...if it's a pick and choose thing, then I am in need of both, so either is fine.)

I look forward to BTSC tomorrow. And to hopefully an end to this rain. And to more mafiavivor fun times.

Night 10: "A Bit of a Punch in the Face"

Day 10, and only 6 left to work around camp. The tribe decided to pitch in how they could.

Quin and Golden attempted to restart the fire, but it mustn't have still been too wet from the rain. They did not make fire today.
OptOut, LoRab and Sorsha worked to rebuild the shelter and did so handily. This shelter should last a while!
Elo meandered to the water well and came back with water for the tribe!
Doodle found a scrumptious worm. He would not share it with anyone.

Then came the challenge.
The tribe agreed that OptOut was the best option for "Captain".

"Captain of what?" she asked.

She learned that the captain was responsible for assigning people to either a puzzle solving challenge or a strength-based challenge, and chose also to make the puzzle a reward challenge and the boot camp the immunity challenge.
Captain OptOut got to work. She put Golden, LoRab and Sorsha in charge of racing to solve a color Puzzle, and put herself, Quin and Elo to compete for the immunity idol.

At the puzzle tables, all 3 participants got to work. Sorsha dropped her glasses and held her hands up. "I can't see colors. I give up." After 14 minutes, LoRab was losing confidence. "I give up too..Golden's probably close anyway."

And close he was, because he signaled the answer. And he was right!

Golden wins reward in the form of ice cream floats and peach cobbler! This will restore 2 thirst and 2 hunger to 2 people each. You may share this reward with (1) other player, and you both will restore 2 thirst and 2 hunger. Please PM me whom you wish to share with.

At the immunity challenge, the competitors took off from the starting line in a boot camp situation.

OptOut and Quin both went into the commando crawl, while Elo whipped through the horizontal cargo net. Elo came out first and decided to move on to the rope wall. Not far behind was OptOut, who leapt bounds over Elo somehow. Quin chose to take a rope swing across a gorge and easily passed both opposing players.
Seeing his lead, Quin chose to climb a rope ladder. But right behind him was OptOut, who chose instead to sprint for the finish. Elo was struggling to keep up. Quin almost reached for the last handle and then slipped, falling behind slightly. Seizing her chance, Opt burst into 4th gear and rounded the corner to the finish line. She finished 9 seconds faster than Quin.

Opt_Outside has won the immunity challenge, her 4th straight!

Opt-Outside has won Individual Immunity. You may not vote for OptOut tonight at Tribal Council.
For the rest of you, someone will be going home and will be the 13th person voted out of Survivor: Mafia.

It is now Night 10. You have 24 hours to vote someone out at Tribal Council. Night will end at Midnight, PST (3am EST). I ask that you send all Votes and Actions to me by 11PM PST.

Episode 11: "Don't Hold This Against Me"

Down to 6, the players were starting to get slimmer (and not just the waists). Players were beginning to look toward the end. Who to sit next to in the finals, who to let drown.

"Who's everyone voting for?" asked Elo.

"I wish we didn't have to vote out anyone. All I know is, it's not gonna be me!" smiled OptOut.

"I'm looking for a peaceful compromise. This has been one clucking hell of a week!" croaked Doodle, the chicken.

"Holy shit, it talks!!" jumped Quin.

At tribal, Scotty Probst entered, carried via rickshaw.

"You can go now," said Probst, cracking the whip on the local tribesman. The small man scurried away.

The tribal council went as usual, or as usual as it could. Every player in turn went up to put a name down.

"I'll go get the votes."

Probst pulled out a boombox not seen in the world since the early 90's, inserted a cassette and pressed play. It began playing "Rock Lobster" by the B-52's, and the tribe listened intently through the entire song.

"Wow! That was amazing!" screamed LoRab, when it finished.

"Yes. Now, I'll really go get the votes." He walked over and retrieved the votes. Weird for Scotty.

"Now…if anyone has the hidden immunity idol and wishes to play it, you may do so now.”

Could another idol be played? Every player looked around anxiously, except Quin, who stood up and waltzed over to Probst with a stony necklace.

"Probst...it's time to unleash the Kraken. I'm playing this idol...for Sorsha!"

Probst looked at the idol and smiled. He then cast it into the fire pit.

"This is not a hidden immunity idol. I'm sorry you were led astray."

"Oh, shucks!" Quin shuddered.

Quin did a 180 and started walking back to his bench. Then stopped.

"But actually, Probst," smirked Quin, turning back towards the bewildered host, "I do have the real one, and I am playing it for Sorsha for real."

He withdrew another idol from somewhere in his pants and handed it to Scotty. Scotty looked disgusted, but held it up.

“This...is a hidden immunity idol. Quin has used his Hidden Immunity Idol on Sorsha. Any votes cast against her will not count. Once the votes are read, the decision will be made and the person will be asked to leave the tribal council area immediately. I’ll read the votes."

Youe requests do not have to match. You simply name 2 people and you will gain BTSC with them
