Soneji had incredible insight to arrest Nerolunar when he did. Were I around, I might have argued him out of it. We had tried to arrest Nerolunar before and it failed, so my thinking was Nerolunar and Sloonei were the Dons, and Turnip Head had one of two lynch stops (like we got).

I triple checked several different things before submitting that and even then I was paranoid about being wrong. I think the main thing for me was that you misread TH's post about you being his Don(he was changing up the classic "brother from another mother" into "Don from another mother") and a post he made after the failed lynch on him, where he worries about being killed(but not arrested). There were other minor things that added to those but they were pretty major ones.

If you had tried to arrest Turnip Head, that could have very well changed this game, and it's most likely neither the civilians or baddies would have won.

I used my role to target those who I couldn't assign roles to and then people who were urging my lynch to make sure they weren't my partner, so I didn't ever get around to him.

Spacedaisy wrote:for those of you questioning the Don's choices as far as challenges for his Capo and Crew, they did not know what the challenges were. They were choosing the reward and then picking a random number to assign their challenge with no knowledge of the actual mission itself. If they had known it would have outed who the capo and crew were. To both Dons. It would have hugely imbalanced the game for basically two groups of five civs to all know who each other are, it also would have made it impossible for a team to off their own Don by accident, which was an intended mechanic. Anyone who plays my games should know, there will always be a kind of role or mechanic that may require self sacrifice or strategic risk/loss.i am a huge fan of making players make tough decisions. And also of unique role interactions. The cops were pretty pessimistic at the idea of two civs each with their own BTSC partner that they could not arrest, but it was intentional. In order for one of the civ teams to win they had to take out the other Don. The game was built to pit civ against civ. You guys just never got there. Who knows, it might have changed the whole outcome if you hadn't put it off.
I realised the civ-on-civ gameplay aspect, but I figured it wasn't important because if town spent ages trying to lynch their opposite family members, the police would have been given free reign over the game. I always just intended to focus 100 percent on scum and if my family came out on top then it would be great. :srsnod:

The prisoners who carried those challenges were tenacious. There was one point where they went 28 minutes without posting and I thought they were going to miss it, but they didn't. I think the closest they came in the ten minute one was 8 minutes. I was the one who had the honor of patrolling to ensure they met the criteria. That's why I was also cheering them on, lol.
No, there is a full 10-mintues stretch between posts during the 10-minute challenge. I panicked when I saw the time and barely squeaked the saver post in there. I have never idea where in that mess it occurred but it's in there somewhere. Fortunately, the rules stated "more than 10 minutes," meaning 11 minutes between posts would fail us. That was the closest call ever and I was worried for hours that you guys could see the precise post time (like down to the second) with your mod powers and would rule it a failure.

Thank You Daisy and soneji and also sig for what you said after I died!! Prisoner 509 and Sloonei were great at analysis and it was really me knowing ika and gut and stool pidgeon stuff that had me doing what I did.

I needed to do a better job of explaining my reads. I am an emotional/passionate player and that distracts me sometimes. I was supremely frustrated with feeling like I wasn't being listened to but I didn't have a lot to go on, just gut and the fact I don't like lurkers and the stool pidgeon stuff. After a successful Fuzz lynch, sig's preferred avenue is to lynch the runners up of Day 2. This is still his position. According to sig, this is how Day 2 looks:

Epignosis - Cop
3
Metalmarsh89 (8), a2thezebra (9), DrWilgy (10) 10%

ika -Undercover Cop
9
Quin (5), Nerolunar (6), agleaminranks (11), Soneji (12), Serge (14), RadicalFuzz (16), Enrique (23), Long Con (28), sig (29) 31%

RadicalFuzz - Surveillance Specialist
8
Golden (17), ika (18), Silverwolf (19), indiglo (20), S~V~S (21), Dragon D. Luffy (22), Turnip Head (24), Sloonei (25) 28%
Remember this one, Epi? :haha:

Remember this one, Epi? :haha:

I have a new found respect for sig's scumhunting ability.
Yeah man.

I had to roll with the "If it doesn't make sense, it's not true" defense, a.k.a., I had to go Judge Judy on sig.
Looking back on it I'm not sure why I didn't call you out on that argument earlier. It evaded me.

I remember how you went through all of our timezones for viability, but I don't think you included yourself :haha:

Another thing I should've called you out on in hindsight.

Wow. What a game to be a part of.

This game reminded me of BoB in that I was wrong about most everyone and adamant about my reads to a fault. I'm sorry town, and especially to Quin. My bad man. The past few weeks have been VERY hard to keep up with, and especially when 509 was introduced into the picture. I'm still up in Canada and can only view stuff minimally when I spot Wifi, which is sparingly.

Kudos to the cops, and thank you MP and Daisy for hosting. I feel like I contributed nothing but crap to the game for my faction, so fuck me slowly. But I think I learned quite a bit about several people's playstyles.

To allude to DDL, if a player is acting too scummy to be scum, he is probably scum *cough ika*

I'm a school teacher on the east coast. I'm always asleep during that time.

However, I had fallen asleep in my chair during the prison break, woke up at 4ish, and realized I could post.

I did.

I hadn't read anything at all. How funny it was to see that I had posted "So you think you've got me figured out" right after Prisoner 920 made a huge case against me!

Hey, so SVS is gonna honour the bet she made with P509 and change her sig, right? :haha:

ok a few things:

first: i would like to still see the BTC topic of mafia, i would also like to know why it wasnt released, i wasactualy hoping for it to be released to to what happened to me in there

second: the post i made to silver and quoted later as prisoner is indeed 100% scum claiming from me, i would never in all my life make that post as town.

moreso when silver responded how she did, i had a RL meltdown where i was crying and lashed out a bunch in the scum topic. how i reacted to epi was 100% non-alignment indicative. its how i will act regardless of my alignement, i will not myslynch silver one bit.

third: iirc i asked in the scum topic what happens in a donvdonvcop situation and last i heard, everone would win?

finally: i do have one small issue and thats scums not baing able to put in the nk for each other, while i can understand the situation to forsaken scum actions if they are nto around, i think we sould at least be able to submit a nomal arrest.

if i had it my way silver would of been arrested n1

i got more to say but i need to make more post in ricoets game i will fix prisoner soon

:omg: :omg: :omg: :omg: :omg: :omg:

I've never thought I'd enjoy being in prison so much, lol!

Thanks for the crazy game, MP/SD! And thanks for the banner, I am quite proud of DH's and my work on that damn decode!!!

The true prisoner champs are def. those who held the 10-minute challenge together... I didn't help out much on that, although I WAS able to pop in to take over while someone took a shower, lol.....

And Epig? I may get hyper-paranoid and over-focus on minutiae in mafia a lot, but sometimes it pays off :pout: But hey... your Chronos will be at your disposal whenever you need him :dark:

Oh, and Juliets, I knew you were you, as well heh, as soon as you mentioned that you once got lynched for being "too nice" I thought... oh man, that's got to be JC

Prisoner 920077 is cleaned out. Thanks again, hosts!

I'd like to thank 920 for your incredible determination during the 10 minute post challenge. Holy shit you went all night 2 nights in a row when the rest of us slackers were sleeping.

Great job!!

Oh no, that wasn't me, I didn't do much in that challenge, tbh.
