I've seen staked vampires come back, sunlight only causing minor burns, magic spells eventually get broken and garlic is a myth.
Beheading is the best way to make sure whatever creature dies stays dead. It's the Sam and Dean way.

Looks like Drusilla only had 2 nights to try and recruit Spike. Fairly low odds of that having happened, and i think LC's story posts would've included some sort of hint. Good lynch result.

So I googled "how to kill a vampire" and found out two important things. One, that direct sunlight is the easiest way to kill a vampire and it only requires being in the sun for 10 seconds. The second thing is vampires have strong neck muscles making beheading hard to do. So I'm going with the easy way, direct sunlight.

I'm not sure why they have strong necks. Interesting little fact though.

"How about that one?" grinned Angelus, lounging on the edge of a building overlooking the night-cloaked street, looking down at Kylemii, walking alone. The vamps he was with both shrugged and nodded, putting on their twisted vamp-faces, and the three of them were over the edge.

One vamp landed in front of Kylemii, leering and hissing at him. Kyle turned in fright, only to be faced with another vampire that was behind him, grinning a fangy grin. Frantic, he ran across the street and down an alley.

Scrambling, Kyle turned left, then right, and he swore he could hear laughter echoing from all directions. A whooshing sound above, and he looked up to see a shape leaping across the rooftops.

Rounding one final corner, he almost ran right into juliets! "Jules!" he cried. "You have to get out of here, there's-"

"Was that her name? Jules?" Even as the light, perky voice spoke, Kyle realized something was very wrong - she wasn't standing on her own, she was being held up, limp, from behind. "And you actually know her?" Glory peeked out from behind the body she was holding. "That's such a coincidence!"

It was more than Kyle could take, and he spun around to run again, only to come face-to-face with Angelus.

"Playtime's over," Angelus snarled, rushing forward with supernatural speed and sinking his fangs into Kyle's neck for a few seconds, before tossing him back to the other vamps. He eyed Glory, who was watching the scene with detached curiosity. She took out a piece of gum and began chewing it loudly, shooting a carefree grin at Angelus.

Nodding slowly in amusement, Angelus turned back to Kylemii and dove in finding a vein to help his comrades suck Kye dry.

Kylemii has been killed by the Vampires.

juliets has been killed by Glory.

It is now Day 4. You have 24 hours to lynch somebody.

Before the break are people I feel good about, with Mac in his own group, "He isn't pinging me all that much, but when he does it's Big Freaking Ben". No particular order within groups.

My thoughts on Mac have a lot to do with his exchange with Ambray yesterday. I am not sure if it felt scripted, or what. My thoughts on him being bad are mixed in with my thoughts on Ambray. To me at least, I feel Mac engages with his team in thread rather than avoiding them. I recall him actively defending teammates in other games, and playing with them in thread.

Lapluie continues to be a spectator hiding behind kulture klash. She seems to magically show up when mentioned. I still don't see that she has had any suspects? Illy did a nice job of drawing her out and possibly making people feel guilty about suspecting her.

Ambray I felt pretty good about most of the game, we had a lot of the same thoughts, and I had a role in mind for her at one point, but I was in error, I believe someone else to be in that role now. So not sure what I think of her at this point. Her vote, and the "I would like to see Illy lynched really" thing combined with the discussion she had with Mac was weird.

Nova is not hiding behind Kulture Klash, he seems to be wielding it like a sword. Says it isn't a No U, but it looks like a No U to me. The person who voted for him seems to be his only suspect through the game so far.

LoRab ... I find this hard to explain, and I know she will understand me when I say this, is just giving me the willies. She pops up a few good observations here and there but for the most part seems to be doing the "helpful civvie theme analysis" thing. She and I, when civ, often seem to have a lot of the same thoughts, and I am not getting that feel from her. This is my meta impression of her, but I need to reread her. LoRab is a gut player like me, she is someone I modeled my game after in some ways, and she feels off to me. After Chuck, I am a little shaky on my meta reads, and won't vote solely based on one, but that is where I am at.

I work Saturdays, and today specifically I have to go to my parents after work, so will probably not be here much except on phone until probably about 7 or 8 ish.

I would love to know where 'it's pretty obvious' - you did this to me in the other game... :suspish:

In regards to Nova - half of my suspicion was about him sounding scripted and considering Illy wasn't around yesterday it kind've puts him in the clear in terms of receiving coaching - if we are to assume there is only 1 mafia left.
However, his vote on Illy before switching it still super strange and what makes me doubt my doubt. Though they addressed this, I would like to hear one more time from them their point of view about what happened.

In an ideal situation, I want to go back and read:
sig - because just off the top of my head nothing sticks out from this game from them and I just have a coasting vibe
lap - to further explore what SVS has raised about interaction with Illy
Mac - because why the hell not.

However, I'm going to play the card of "I've just got home from a whooper of a shift and I need to deactivate my brain for a solid 30mins". I will try and have a look in a bit.

Damn this thread is quiet.

So I've done a quick read of sig and I am super pinged by the fella. Dude - have you ever named a single suspect?

I was reading thinking bad bad bad, then suddenly you made this huge post about Illy and I was like oh ok - that completely writes you off as Illy's teammate. But you didn't actually condemn her at all, infact, you just said you "didn't get much out of it" and it made you "shaky abouy LoRab and Kyle".

If you are around - for the first time this game - can you state who you are actually suspicious of?

I am absolutely shattered so I'm going to sleep soon. Will do a post before I go if you don't appear, because I think my vote will be heading your way.

Hm.

I agree with Mac that Ambray has a good chance of coalignment with Illy. The way that Ambray's non-defense of Ambray while the train was picking up, it seemed like she was trying to avoid getting caught up in things either way as much as possible.

Between Tranq and Nova, I'm more inclined to trust Tranq at the moment. Nova hasn't pinged me directly, but I can see the reasons for him to be suspected. Aside from the No U bit. Nova voted first.

I'm going to put a vote on Ambray for now. Best I can do, since I don't mafia much on the weekend.

I'll be checking back in.

Ambray's non-defense of Ambray. What does that even mean?

Going to sleep. Voting Sig. I'm too tired to try and logically put together posts, but I implore you guys to read his ISO. I think there's some very odd stuff in there.

Still pinged by the location stuff from the first poll, LOTS of fishing and pointing fingers in people's directions without actually laying down any names for suspicion and I think that large post re Illy was a very good misdirect.

Mmm and the more I look at Ambray's posts from during the Illy lynch the more I think she's bad. First she says something like "I have to reread people's reasons for suspecting her bc confusion" and then "I'd prefer to see her respond" followed by "I'm not opposed to an Illy lynch" and claiming she's not trying to save her with the nova vote. Idk, Illy had a big enough majority by the end of the day that a teammate would probably just hop on the wagon, but the way Ambray expressed how she was totally fine with Illy getting lynched without contributing to it... feels bad man. Suspicious at face value and all that jazz. (Plus I don't remember what meta precedent she may or may not have for bussing and she might be reluctant to? ) Anyway I'm voting for her *crosses fingers*
