If I was sabi and randed wolf against mac I would certainly just townread him and shield him from the other town that are pushing him though. It's just the correct way to play the situation as it would lead me to have no choice but to townread her for helping me and probably help her chop a town in the process. If she is mafia, sussing me is the wrong move because it's more likely to result in her death.

The question is not whether she could be mafia. Of course she can. This is just a very strong point in her favour.

This read only applies to sabi because sabi has been claiming a god read on me of late and would want to promote that I would think. I think pocketing me in this gamestate would be the best play, and probably have the added benefit of entertaining themselves a great deal too.
