THIS IS WHAT DEMOCRACY LOOKS LIKE?
Image
"Thank you Virginia!" Trump shouted, his speech winding down. The crowd roared with glee. "I'll say it again- who would have ever thought that an outsider like myself would be able to turn conventional politics on its head and take a major party nomination?

"This year the Republican Party showed the world that the people still have a voice. The Democrat's nomination process was rigged from the start. More and more evidence of that comes out every day it seems. Superdelegates? Crooked Hillary probably didn't even need the superdelegates. Thumbs on the scales, folks, thumbs on the scales. Believe me.

"I mean, what's the point of superdelegates anyway? They're there to overrule the voice of the people. The people! You people! Well, not you people because you registered Republican but anyway. You know what I mean.

"The great thing about the Republican Party is that they actually let their people choose the candidate. Sure, sure, there were a few bumps in the road along the way with the possibility of rules and procedures to steal it from me. But guess what? At the end of the day, they knew it would be bad for the Republican brand and believe me, I know all about branding. I'm an expert at it. Really.

"This election cycle is such a contrast, right? I mean on one side, you've got Crooked Hillary and the Democrats running the single-most rigged election ever." Boos flooded the arena. "Then there's the Republicans." Echoing and reverberating cheers threatened the structural integrity of the building.

"The Republican nominating process was long and hard but we came out on top in a stunning victory. I may be the most democratically-elected candiadte of all time." Chants of 'we love Trump' undulated through the crowd. "But I wouldn't have won without your help. Thank you, Virginia. You guys are great. Let's win this in November and make America great again!"

Donald Trump waved and smiled as he left the stage. The smile faded as he entered the green room backstage. His closest advisors huddled up for an unexpected powwow after the rally.

"Alright people listen up," Donald said. "Tomorrow morning we're going to have a campaign meeting. Everybody will be there or else. We need to talk a few things over before we hit Georgia. Got it? Good." With that, Trump left for his limo, his trophy wife and kids in tow.

THE GAME BEGINS NOW! IT IS DAY 0.
You have 24 hours to vote in the poll.

Wow folks, yay game and yay Trump, am I right, people?

This going to be huge. Say it with me: yuuuuge. Unlike Little Marco, which is what I'm voting, for starters. Oh, I loved seeing that moment. Gold stuff!

Great cast of players, but no doubt three or maybe four of them are crooked infiltrators. This being 15 players, maybe even Hippie Gary Johnson got to sneak in, who knows. Catching the crooked democrats is exactly what we're going to do, right folks? We're going to win this, we're going to win the Blue vs Red (a version in which we're the villains? laughable!) and next we're going all the way to the White House. It's happening, it's done.

That reminds me, I remember that MovingPictures is a Hippie Gary supporter. We need to look into that, as soon as Day 1 starts. Sounds bad. Slight mafia!

Revealing the democrats will be easy peasy.

Question No.1: Who agrees with throwing out of the country every immigrant, as soon as we win the presidential race?

If someone says no, BOOM, crooked mafia democrat. Easy!

I'm gonna have to vote for Crazy Bernie, who I expect to be some sort of psycho serial killer role.

Also, Milo Yiannopolus better be a vanilla loser, or I'll become SLIGHTLY MIFFED.

Beat him in the only game I played there. Little!

But you didn't answer my question. What's up with that?

I'm sensing crooked democrats in this thread already.

Also, I think it's safe to say that SVS is mostly likely Crooked Hillary. Makes sense to me, what do you think? Only woman in 15 players. My favourite ratio in Congress, btw.

Look, I'd just like to say, I don't agree with Mr Trump on this issue. I think there are some fine Mexicans and Muslims in this country, at least one or two of each. Why, I recently visited a Mexican couple whose son manages a Taco Bell. What could be more American than that? Those parents, they worked hard for their son to have that opportunity. You won't see me accusing fine hard-working middle Mexican Americans of being the problem here.

Whats that, you want me to say I don't support Mr Trump? Well, I wouldn't say that. No, I wouldn't say that I don't support Mr Trump. Mr Trump is a Presidential Candidate for my fine G.O.P. and I wouldn't say that I don't support him, not at all.

I second the fact that this list of candidates is a fine list. It's why I couldn't not put my hat in the ring and join the race, so to speak.

I love tacos, taco-making Mexicans can stay. We get served taco every day, during our brief with the POTUS-to-be. Tacos made by the finest Trump-employed Mexicans, you wouldn't believe how many Mexicans are employed over at Trump Tower, Trump loves Mexicans. More tacos!

I don't remember Muslims making taco though, so they'll have to go. Bad for taco business!

You should work on your supporting stance a little or else I might be inclined to mistake you for a democrat. Shady!

This needs to be black and white, folks, night and day. Democrat players should just admit they don't like Trump, so we can lynch them right away. Comprende!

Elizabeth Warren, over her somewhat spurious claim to Native American ancestry on a college application, IIRC. You don't like Lyin' Ted? I think that one has a nice ring to it, kind of a band name. Lyin' Ted and the Texas Cheats!

Honest question, Rico: I know you're not in the States, but do you find ourself gravitating towards any particular politician over here? What's your take on the political climate? Very curious.

People that need to check in before Day 0 (The time before America became great again) gets extended another 24 hours:
Beck
Drwilgy
leetic
MP
SVS (so aptly dubbed the lone "female")

But I probably won't vote those people exclusively for not checking in....I....I might go craaazy this game and not just vote a no-show or low poster on day 1.

Scotty wrote:Honest question, Rico: I know you're not in the States, but do you find ourself gravitating towards any particular politician over here? What's your take on the political climate? Very curious.
I don't gravitate towards any political side. I'm rarely willing to vote in my own country, as a matter of fact, because I'm socially and politically "apathetic" and I find there is rarely any hopeful choice in picking a certain party or local or prez candidate. I find the situation with these US elections the strangest that could have ever happened - sure, you could trace underlying rationale in this Trump phenomenon, how he appeals to the worst in people's mindsets, prejudices or fears or how it can link with the right-wing rise occuring in Europe as well, but all in all, the man is a complete troll; everything he's doing feels like utter, easy-to-get-away-with trolling - but I'm more the kind munching popcorn over Colbert, Oliver or Samantha Bee dissecting the elections rather than reading actual serious insight into what's happening.

I feel you prepared a statement for a conflict that doesn't exist (yet). As if you're trying to compliment me and get on my good side. Although it's much appreciated. Shady!
There hasn't been any accusation of any kind, or any positive remark. It's all been goofing off. However, you can be certain that "you're hiding behind your roleplay!!!1111" would become a thing in due time. It always does. Someone always pulls that shit.

I think baddies tend to be wary of hearing that b/s and take the measures necessary not to hear it (i.e. they goof around less). So neato for you.
