Ladies and gentlemen, I bring you the classic mafia setup called Dethy Game.

This is a game for 5 players, which features 4 civilian cops and 1 mafioso.

However, the cops are not all sane. They are the following:

Sane Cop: gets correct Civilian/Mafia results
Insane Cop: gets inverse Civilian/Mafia results
Naive Cop: always gets result = Civilian
Paranoid Cop: always gets result = Mafia

Furthermore, the cops don't know what type of cop they are. Only that they are not mafia.

The game starts on Night 0, so cops get an initial investigation.

This is a mafia game with a strong puzzle element, since you need to figure out who is which cop so you can find the mafia.

So, it turns out I'll be available this Saturday. Let's try making it on that day, at 4 PM EST.

Like the timeframe I gave is the one that covers from California to Australia the most optimally, while leaving time for most people to go out saturday night. But I can adapt depending on who comes.

One unexpected upside of hosting mafia games is that I basically get a PhD on timezones.
