Greetings, and welcome to my newest mafia game, 8-Ball! This setup was created by Irrelephant11, from the MafiaScum Wiki.

SETUP:

Town (6)

No team chat.
Winning Condition: eliminate both members of mafia.

Mafia (2)

Have a team chat.
Winning Condition: be 50% of the living players.

Pocketing: once per night, starting from Night 0, the mafia must pick one player they want to eliminate next day. This player may be town or mafia. If they succeed at eliminating their target, they earn a kill in the following night. They may not night kill unless they eliminated their intended target.

Example: on Night 1, mafia declares they want to eliminate DDL. If DDL is killed on Day 2, mafia will be able to kill someone else on Night 2.

Rules

- This game is dividided in day phases and night phases. Day phases are when you post and make votes. The poll will lock exactly 48 hours after it is posted, and afterwards I will come here as early as possible to make the end of day post.

- Night phases are when the mafia decides their next pocketing target, and sends a kill, if they have one. Actions will be accepted 23 hours after the end of day write-up is posted. The final hour will be used by me to process actions, and to correct previous delays in day/night starts. Night posting is allowed.

- Voting is done through the poll. I do not require players to announce their votes in the thread or use fancy tags, though it is usually considered common etiquette to do so.

- Self-voting and changing votes are allowed. In case of ties, the elimination will be resolved at random. There will always be an elimination every day phase, even if no one votes.

- You must post at least once per day phase. Failure to do so will be considered inactivity, and I may replace or modkill inactive players. No replacements will happen after Night 3. if you are going to be unable to be online for a short period, please tell me in advance so I may give you some leeway.

- Do not engage in angle-shooting, which means using information from outside of the game to obtain advantage in it. That includes, but is not limited to, making bets or oaths in real life, asking people the color of their role card, or posting screenshots to prove anything. I will modkill players who break this rule.

- All players who die in the day or in the night will have their role revealed.

- All players will win with their teams, whether they are alive or dead.

- Talking with people about the game in any places other than this thread, or BTSC channels authorized by me, are not allowed.

- Dead players must post in red. Non-players must post in blue. Off-topic posts should be in green. I will use this color, please do not use it.

- There are two iterations of this game happening at the same time. You are only playing one of them, and you are not required to read the other game in order to play this one properly. Also, do not talk about the other game in this thread. There is a spectator chat for that, which both players of this game and players of neither game are free to join.

- Your Game Facilitator is Sloonei. If you have any issues with other players or with me and you need to vent out, feel free to talk to him. For gameplay related questions, feel free to ask me and I'll help how I can.

- This is what the town role card looks like:

Checking in. I'm snowed under with games atm, which means I'll be moving slow, but the thread is as well so it's probably fine. I have a townread on LC and Wilgy. LC is unselfconscious in the way he is when he's town and isn't when he's scum, and tryhard Wilgy probably means town Wilgy. The awareness that he could be selected as the exe target is a good look for him as well.

The year is 1931. In a small building inside Chicago, eight men are staring each other around a rectangular table.

They are agents of the FBI, sent on a mission to investigate the local mobsters who have dominated the city with illegal liquor sales. However, one day after arriving, they received a report from the Headquarters that their group may have been infiltrated by the mafia.

Each one of them is holding a briefcase. Seven of those briefcases are empty decoys. But one of them holds a number of documents, concerning details of the operation, including the location where each agent is going to be hidden at night. Should those plans fall into the wrong hands, the mission could be put in jeopardy. Those papers need to be protected at all costs, or the lives of all the agents could be at risk.

The agents are still staring at each other. Finally, one of them decides this is a waste of time. He tells the others to go to their assignments. Hopefully, if there is a traitor, they won't be able to stay hidden for too long.
