it's amazing how much conflicting numbers i get from friends on this.

i strip the sheets/pillowcase/duvet cover every 10 days. in the really hot summer months, it moves to be weekly for the sheet + pillow case. but i voted 10 days to be on average.


i wash the bed coverlet (thing i cover the whole bed with) every 2-3 weeks.

i wash the actual duvet once every 8 weeks. could do better there maybe, but the duvet covers protect it well enough!

I have one pair of sheets and pillowcases, and wash them every 3 weeks or so. 10 days seems like insanity to me.

i drool a lot tbh. i blame retainer.

Where is the "I have a toddler so every 2-4 days" option smh

Without the three foot menace forcing our hands, its every week or two usually

I’ve changed my sheets three times in one day already this year.

Changing bed sheets is inconvenient, because I know I'll never get around to washing them, and the pets will inevitably find them... So they'll basically just turn into disposable pee pads if I change them before they're destroyed.

I don’t have a dryer either, so picture me on those 3 bed change days running around like crazy rotating things to dry faster so I have bedding for night lol

i lived many phases of my life without a dryer, and every time i went back to one i'd be like "this is basic human necessity how was i surviving without one" lol

When I can. I have a duvet cover since my washer can't handle the comforter, and my bed is pushed into a corner. It's physically intensive so I am rarely capable of changing all the linens and then doing everything else I need to do with my day. There've been times when I'm lucky to switch everything over twice a year.

In the past year, I haven't gone more than two months between changes. In 2022, no more than three weeks between. If it were up to me, it'd be weekly.

I change my pillowcase every five days.

Every other week but I change pillow cases every week. In the summer I change everything every week except the cover which is still every 3 or 4 weeks because it gets very warm at night and I don't like fans or air conditioning.

Once a month for me. With a regular sex partner, that would probably change.

estimating 3 weeks to a month but only bc my bf is good about washing them, i would be terrible about it otherwise

I have a duvet, and I only wash the cover for that 1-2x per year, mainly because it gets less dirty, and it's annoying to take on and off often.

I had these awesome sheets for Christmas from my stepmom, the set weighed about 50 pounds, and they were like a zillion thread count. So nice and smooth for the two day I had them before the cat puked on them.

So pissed lol.

So I change my sheets every two days.

I change mine twice a week,this is almost like asking do you use hot or cold water to wash your hands lmao

I haven't changed mine in 3 years I like it in my little cozy goblin cave
