Welcome to WWE Mafia, the larger than life sports-entertainment spectacular where superstars are not only fighting for championship belts, they're now fighting for their survival! Here is the place to sign up or be a replacement, and also the revised list of characters:

CIVVIES - 18

Hulk Hogan – The ultimate good guy. He stands for America, Christmas, and puppies. To defend these things, he will kill every even night. (SECRET)

John Cena – No matter the odds, Cena always makes a comeback. He will survive the first attempt on his life. (SECRET)

The Undertaker – The Deadman always rises again. May not be night killed. At each Wrestlemania the Undertaker may either rezz a player or kill a player.

“The Heartbreak Kid” Shawn Michaels – The Showstopper may stop one lynch and switch another.

Bret “The Hitman” Hart – One of the greatest in-ring technicians of all time. He will use these skills to block a player every night.

Matt Hardy – BTSC with Jeff.

Jeff Hardy – BTSC with Matt.

Mick Foley – Foley is very unpredictable and has a split personality. Every night, a different face of Foley will come out. As Cactus Jack, he will randomly deflect any powers he is targeted with (except Randy Orton). As Mankind, he will use the Mandible Claw to silence a player. As Dude Love, he will use his awful dance moves to insanify a player.

Trish Stratus – Trish is an innovator in women’s wrestling. Each odd night she will target a player. There is a 30% chance that player will be silenced, a 30% chance that that player will start the next day with two votes, and a 40% chance that Trish will gain that player’s ability for the next night. 100% Stratusfaction guaranteed!

Rey Mysterio – Kids absolutely love Rey. For this reason, he may not be lynched until Day 5. Once in the game, Rey may use his agility to send in a role to the host and discover what player has that role.

Lita – Searches for Matt every night. If she finds him, she gains BTSC with the Hardy Boyz. (SECRET)

“Macho Man” Randy Savage – One of the most well versed wrestlers of all time, the Macho Man will use his knowledge to role check a player every night.

Andre the Giant – The Eighth Wonder of the World is the proverbial immovable object. He will stand in front of a player every night to protect them.

The Ultimate Warrior – The Warrior is unstoppable when he gets on a roll. Each night he has a 50% chance of subtracting one vote from himself for the next day. This will be cumulative.

Kurt Angle – It’s true, it’s true! Your Olympic gold medalist will choose one statement every night and determine if it’s true or false.

Chris Jericho – Y2J is here to ring in a new millennium, the Age of Jericho. He may end one night early and end one lynch early.

Ric Flair – The Nature Boy is a stylin’, profilin’, kiss-stealing, wheeling-dealing son of a gun! He also will deliver one of his legendary promos in the thread each day.

The Brooklyn Brawler –Vanilla.

THE CORPORATION - 4

Vince McMahon – Mr. McMahon will send in the kill for the Corporation every odd night. (SECRET)

The Rock – The People’s Champion layeth the smacketh down on any jabroni who tries to go one on one with the Great One. If the Rock is targeted for a night power, there is a 50% chance it will be deflected back to that player. In addition, each night he will send in a check to Know Your Role.

Big Show – The World’s Largest Athlete will use his incredible strength to block a player every night.

Shane McMahon – Son of the Chairman, Shane will die if Vince is targeted for a night kill. In addition, if Shane is lynched there will be two nights in a row.

THE ARROGANT HEELS - 5

Edge – One of the most underhanded, devious wrestlers of all time. Edge will slip out of the first attempt on his life. He sends in the kill for his team every even night.

Christian – Edge’s brother, also known as Captain Charisma. Every night Christian may send his Peeps to discover the identity of a dead player.

“Rowdy” Roddy Piper – Piper is a crazed Scotsman who innovated the wrestling talk show with Piper’s Pit. He will invite a guest onto his show each night and insanify them by screaming incoherently at them.

Randy Orton – Orton fancies himself the Legend Killer. Every night he will search for the next veteran to knock off. If he finds Mick Foley, Bret Hart, or Ric Flair, they will die. (SECRET)

“The Million Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase – Obscenely wealthy. Every night Ted may buy off another player and control their vote the next day (the player will not be aware of this). Everybody’s got a price!

INDEPENDENT - 3

Triple H – Triple H is the Cerebral Assassin, and strives to be the best in the world…at any cost. HHH will kill a player every night. He will survive the first lynch and night kill attempt on him. HHH must be the last man standing to win.

“Stone Cold” Steve Austin – A tough, beer-swilling redneck who doesn’t trust authority. Austin likes to sheriff the WWE, so every night he will remove one player from the poll from the next day. (SECRET).

Eddie Guerrero – Eddie lies, cheats, and steals, but at least he’s honest about it! Every odd night Eddie may target a player and steal their ability for the next night. He will also cheat death once. Finally, if role checked, Eddie will lie and come back as a random civvie. However, Eddie only needs to survive to win.

Each night one of WWE's Big 4 Pay-Per-Views, Summerslam, Survivor Series, Royal Rumble, and Wrestlemania, will take place. Certain events associated with each PPV will occur on those nights. After all 4 have been cycled through, we will go back to the first one, so Night 5 will be Summerslam, Night 6 Survivor Series, and so on.

Night 1 – Summerslam
Night 2 – Survivor Series
Night 3 – Royal Rumble
Night 4 – Wrestlemania

I liked Darren Aronofsky in The Wrestler and I used to see the Hogans out at dinner we they lived here, so I will be in. Don't have any familiarity with the theme, but I can see DF has planned a really fun game.

Where's the rock and roll express? Magnum TA? Dusty Rhodes? The boogeyman-woogey man? What, they got too old? Impossible, that would mean I did too! No way!

I'm in  can't miss a Dfaraday game!

I did include a lot of the Golden Era guys like Hogan, Piper, etc. But this is a WWE game specifically, so I left out guys who were mainly in WCW or the territories, like Dusty, Goldberg, etc. :)

I'm just being nostalgic. Missing the good old days when my kids would drag me to the 'wrastlin' matches, and we'd beat on the people sitting in front of us...... :p

Actually kind of partial to Edge, thanks to Haven, and the Rock, for being such a sweetie and taking pics with fankids.

Looks neat! Butt since I've decided to take a break from playing, I'm afraid I'll have to pass. However, if you do need a replacement, give us a call. :wine:

Well as you've now seen, that's still several months away.

But yes, to anyone who is interested, I do have roles up for a Doctor Who-themed game up here. Check it out! :D

Yay! And I'm expecting slow signups, this game has the misfortune to be going up against LOST Mafia on RM (which I'm also in).

As soon as we all start dying, your sign-ups will be revived!! :D I am happy being bumped to the player list as we get closer too if needed. I'm excited to see how a Dfaraday game goes for sure having been baddies with you twice. :D

Your name is dfaraday! It's almost required for you to play LOST.

I have one game just started, and one about to start, but I am sure I will be dead night one or two in at least one of them, so i should have no problems with a third. I know ZERO about this topic, but the set up looks interesting :)

Now why the hell did I have to stumble into this room!?! You have some of my favorite wrestlers ever! I, too, am partial to Edge and The Rock :D Everyone loves the People's Champ, and I just think Edge is a Badass!! Plus, it is really fun to be the only one in a restaurant crowded with wrestling fans chearing for Edge as he goes on to win an Elimination Chamber match that he wasn't even supposed to be in!! Oh yes, that was a very sweet moment :feb:

Anywho, I am now considering signing up for this one, as well. But I will have to see if my schedule allows it.

Heel, face, whatever.

I grew up as a Macho Man Randy Savage fan, a Tatanka fan, and a Jake the Snake Roberts fan. Back then, we affectionately called this the WWF.

That is very good to hear!

I'm doing pretty well, thanks for asking! Between hosting a game here and participating in games elsewhere, work (even though it's downtime), PhD applications, etc. etc., I am keeping pretty busy, but I suppose that's certainly a good thing.

This game should be fun! Hopefully as my Meat Boy game and the Island over on RM die down more, we can get this going.

Seems like we're in basically the same place! I'm also at work full time and working on completing PhD applications. Most are actually due in a week or so, so I'm kind of stressing out -.-

I understand that (somewhat); one of my university's applications is due December 15, and it's beginning to freak me out. I know I will get it done, but I'm definitely starting to feel the burning deadlines. Especially because right now work is in slow time (AKA only 40 hours a week), I keep telling myself I need to get all of these done as soon as I can (among other things).

I am applying for my PhD in Accounting and specifically I am looking into the topical area of Auditing, so I'm mostly looking at universities that are known for strong Audit-based programs, though I am also open to Financial. I picked up a job at CPA firm nearly half a year ago now, right after I finished passing the last part of the CPA exam, and it has been incredibly good experience, but during certain times of the year it is intense. Because of tax extensions, 9/15 and 10/15 deadlines were a busy time for me, and I realize that the regular tax season will be likely even busier.

How about you?

I have 8 applications and they're almost all due December 1st :'( I'm going for microbiology and/or oceanography type programs, although I'm not working in a lab like that right now. I technically work ~40 hours a week but the lab is pretty lax and no one really cares when I come or go.
