SCV:
Probe:Every night, you may choose one of these two actions:
1) Target another player and give them 1 Mineral
2) Construct a 1-shot item using your resources. You may use it on the same night that you build it
Drone:Every night, you may choose one of these two actions:
1) Target another player and give them 1 Gas
2) Construct a 1-shot item using your resources. You may use it on the same night that you build it
At the end of every night, players are alerted of their current inventory of resourcesEvery night, you may choose one of these two actions:
1) Target another player and give them 1 Mineral or 1 Gas
2) Construct a 1-shot item using your resources. You may use it on the same night that you build it
Here is the list of items that players can build:
4 Minerals -> 1-shot doctor
4 Minerals + 2 Gas -> 1-shot night vig
4 Gas -> 1-shot alignment cop
Each night, a mafia picks a town player. If that player were to receive 4 or more total resources from other town only, on this night only, the selected mafia steals all of those town-provided resources
Infodumping and claiming allowed
Again, feedback greatly appreciated, particularly in these 3 areas:
1) Would you have fun playing something like this?
2) Do you think it has balancing issues? How would you balance it better?
3) Are there any additions you think would enhance it, without making it too bloated?
I tried to keep it simple instead of going crazy with the items. Sometimes less is more. Also I'm very opposed to roleblockers or jailkeepers, I think they're pretty anti-fun
My core idea is 1) Make players give each other resources -> 2) Use resources for abilities. I think that's a pretty fun and interactive gameplay loop, it was the same like in my Magic the Gathering game, which was relatively successful, albeit a bit too bloated with mechanical complexity
My biggest concern is that I haven't figured out all the ways that town will try to inevitably break the game, as they always do!
