Ever feel burned out and want to take a hiatus but not leave the site completely?

Have that one friend you want to introduce to mafia but even the speed games seem too harrowing at first?

Got a really busy schedule but have a few days you can expend?

Been wanting to host but are scared about hosting such a big game at first?

Want to design your own game but want to take a smaller entree into game design initially?


Micro Mafia is for you.

Involving ~6 players, these games last a set number of days, and often times 3 days. These games are designed to be fun, and perfect for mafia addicts jonesing between full or speed games. Players can get their fix without annihilating their schedules because the commitment is so much less. Many players may not even need to take full hiatuses with a mini game racket, because they find it easier to commit to.

For Your Consideration, I have designed three mini games so you get the idea.

1.

The Missing File of Ed & Lorraine Warren, Demonologists
This is the case the Warrens never talked about. What happened during those three nights in November with the Nykvist family? Recently found documentation suggests a full-on possession took place at 3246 Pleasant Terrace.

Civs.
Lorraine Warren: Medium -- Protect Ability.
Ed Warren:Demonologist--Ninja Civ
Lars Nykvist: Dad to Aria-- Double Vote
Matteo Primero: Stepdad to Chloe--Lynch Save
Baby Chloe Nykvist Child. Can't be lynched

Baddies
Legion. The Demon(s) -- Nighty kill

Will take place over 3 days

2.

Mission to Mars
They thought they were pioneers. They thought they'd make history. They thought they were alone. They thought wrong.

Civs.
Captain Astronaut: Ninja Civ
Pilot Astronaut: Block
Teacher Astronaut Protect
Psych Astronaut Can copy ability
Scientist Astronaut Vanilla

Baddie
Alien: Nightly Kill

- Will take place over 4 days as the astronauts attempt to fix their escape shuttle and return home.

Aladdin Mafia
Based on the Disney movie of the same name. This one will be kid-friendly. Will last 3 days.

Jasmine: Protect
The Genie: Civ Ninja
Abu : Block

Baddies

And INH did something really similar back on LP with his "Mini Mafia" series, those were fun!

Ohhh, I see. This is my first mafia site so I was not familiar with those, but I bet they were awesome, knowing him.

I suggested that the day periods only last an hour, so we could do a whole game in one day.

This is actually something we tried at LP too. The user Eko tried hosting what he called Quick Mafia. Maybe it was LostHeroes. But you need players to be around practically the entire time, which can be difficult.

This is a great idea, Mongoose.

you have to plan that in advance. Kind of like how we plan D & D at RM. Get the players to sign up, then all decide on a time.

I think this is a great idea! Sometimes even speed mafia feels like a big commitment to me. :P I'll join these for sure if spots don't run out.

Expect all the craziness you've come to expect from my games, but now with more Tommy Wiseau. We could all use a bit more Tommy Wiseau in our lives.

Is there a Micro game ready to be played soon? If not, I have an idea for one that I could get posted up in a couple of days I think it would be a lot of fun and maybe something new, and also character-building for everyone who plays! We will all grow closer as a family as a result of playing this game, as long as you don't all kill each other first, which you probably will. I wasn't sure if there was a queue or how that works for these games?

Here's the queue, feel free to post the idea! Remember to PM Dom after you submit it though. Looks like SVS's Beverage Mafia is up next. Not sure when it will be played, that's up to Dom and co.

The next game should launch pretty soon now that Champions is over. I know Dom was eager to get it started.
