This is an awesome idea, I am listening to it right now. For something like this, what do you think would be a fair price? It is listed as name your price, but you want to be fair to the guy, right?

For these kinds of things I assume a fair price would be however much you think the music is worth.

Yeah, I wish I had more money to give out to artists who truly deserve it but more often than not I don't because I can't really afford it. I would literally pay 20 dollars for that album I posted.

That is what I was thinking, and that guy gets the money, not some executives who know squat about art. So it will have to wait until next week, but i am getting it for myself for New Years. It was very good, I liked every single track.

This is such a fantastic thread, a great idea. I agree with this sentiment; if there is ever any way to give as much to the artist as possible instead of to the useless record industry, I do so.

Vomps should totally post some of his music here.

Alright, well, I dug up my old music from Casualties of Applied Metaphysics (myself and Boomslang) today after a while of not thinking about it. Thought that anyone who hasn't heard it already and wanted to could at least listen to our album from February '10, Ask the Machine.

the second track on the release is courtesy of vomps and he does a great job of keeping the mood constant. The third song is my favorite on the release. :3

I have listened to the whole thing tonight, it was pretty much perfect ambient mood music. I listened to it as a whole, i will listen to the individual tracks next. There were parts that were dischordant (sp?) which gave it an edge that lifted it out of background music.

Vomps (vomps stuff) and I (saxophone) are on that album too :O

It's a little more dense and repetitive, but it also has some great moments.
