Roles/Powers will not be revealed
Number of players will not be revealed until game start
There will be a great deal of BTSC
Role hinting/claiming will be accepted and even encouraged
This will not be a sock puppet game
It will be 48 hour days and 24 hour nights
Stargate SG-1 deals with the travels of the SG-1 team from Earth to various planets through the Stargate system. In the course of their travels they find themselves in battle against the Go'auld, a race of parasites who take human hosts and use them to pose as gods and rule over humans taken from earth and displaced throughout the galaxy. But they also find allies; species who stand against the Go'auld with them.
In addition to the normal game thread there will be planet locations for this game, two chat rooms for each planet. One receiving area at their Stargate and one area just for the use of that planet's inhabitants. The SG-1 can send someone through the Stargate each Day period to another location. They will not know who is on the other end of the wormhole each time. However, the Go'auld will be able to send someone through the Stargate each day as well, so planets receiving visitors will not know for sure if their visitors are friend or foe. The only Stargate that is impenetrable will be the one located in Stargate Command. Only SGC members have the codes to open the iris on the SGC gate and therefore are the only ones who can enter Earth through it.
