I couldn't safely say which of my crew was bad, so I did the only logical thing and tanked the last Serenity mission on purpose to put both DF and INH on the poll. DF was bad and got lynched. Got 'em.

This is a fair point, but I also looked back at the polls and you voted for Luna when Sokoth was lynched and for TH when Enrique was lynched.

I don't like mechanical arguments. When people were accusing me as captain of protecting people in my crew by putting Glorfindel up, I said something along the lines of 'if I'm scum I don't protect my scum buddies in this way', which is true, I wouldn't - instead I'd put out whoever was getting the most heat and if it's my teammate so be it. In fact, I'd probably put my teammates on the poll every day because it's good cred later (as in now). Besides that, it looks like half your crew was scum so you had a pretty high chance of putting one of them on the poll in any event.

Sokoth was lynched as one out of twelve and Enrique as one out of seven. In both cases it went down to the wire and there was no guarantee that person was who was going to go at the start of the day.

There's at least one deepwolf somewhere. I have townread everyone left in the game at some point. Who left is bad has to go beyond mechanics.

I'm not saying this makes you bad DH, I'm just saying I don't buy mechanics as the reason you are good. In my mind I still remember the teammate analysis you did for Sokoth and that's a better indicator for me.

Sorry for being mostly absent in the last phase. I'm going to try to be much more active again in this phase.

When I read this thread when I first came here, giving Colin that money convinced me that you were civ. Seems to me if you were bad you would have picked a scum mate to be on your team. If you had picked a scum mate then I believe that is the person you would have turned to to trust to buy something for you. Everyone you originally chose for your crew including Colin tuned out to be civ except we don't know about nutella. But, you didn't turn to nutella to give the money to so even if she is bad you're not.

Does that make sense? If not, where does it fall apart?

That's definitely the incident that nutella was referring to in the thread, it ended up making me look kinda silly tho because Colin wasn't able to purchase the item we needed lol

Yes, I agree your crew respects you for more than just that. You're a great captain which is why I told DH that I doubted anyone would vote for a mutiny. I was just looking for something tangible we could tell the thread in case Golden or whoever starts a campaign that you are scum. I think the Colin incident is something tangible for the reasons I outlined.

If Golden renews a campaign against Turnip Head, so help me.

A modifier, as I understand it, doesn't negate your stat of 2, but merely reduces our overall number by one.

After we see what our challenge is, it might be beneficial to buy that grenade and try to either get DF with it or at least make their crew fail so that he's on the poll tomorrow. The problem is that's a premium item, and there's less than a 50% chance either of those things come to pass if we use it.

So is the plan to take our L tonight? I don't see any feasible way to accomplish the task at hand. Even buying a shirt and a dress only yields +2 diplomacy.

I would recommend spreading our money around. Diversifying, as it were. If someone is killed or lynched and that money is gone, you do not want all the eggs in one basket.

I at least believe Colin is telling the truth about getting scooped on the item. If I'm mafia, my priority is staying off the lynch poll as much as possible. Colin's failure doesn't help him achieve that. That isn't to say it makes me think Colin is good- I just believe he was truly scooped. The only alternative is that he did buy the item and is holding out on us for some unfathomable reason.

I have worst vibes of the starred ones. dFaraday is playing a very stiff game and I can see him as bussing Sokoth. If anybody on our crew is bad, I'm sorry but it's probably Nova or Nutella but I don't think you are right now. I suggest putting Epignosis on the poll because he's very unlikely to get lynched, but do what you think is best.
