Why is insertnamehere yellow and 6 spots above Dom?

Sig has posts and INH doesn't is the only reason I can think of. I would think if someone opened their role PM and saw it was scum, they would at least ty a little bit to help out his/her team rather than just being a total no-show. I think ita more likely that a civ is the no-show.

This is true. Is there is a protect or roleblock secret, then that person must have a leprechaun in his butt. And if so...keep up the good work.
If not, then I think JJJ might have been the only really active baddie and that's why he played so shitty (no offense J). Anyone know of a game where JJJ was a lonesome baddie and know how he played in it? Let's see...some quiet/quieter players include Sig, INH, Wilgy, even Epi and nutella have been quieter than usual imo and could have missed deadlines. Think about how the end of phases have been pretty all over the place as well. It could have caused missing the deadline. I don't know. Lots to think about. Lots more to read too.

I think this is a very good catch. I never thought about his tunneling being an opportunity for the mafia to cling to.Dragon D. Luffy wrote: ↑Tue Dec 05, 2017 3:46 pm On the Bob thing.
I don't feel anything bad about Bob. But so far I've just read Sloonei's posts and thought "he had a point". I agree with Sloonei's points, but not hard enough to think Bob is definite scum. I'm suspecting Bob by proxy. But I don't want to ISO Bob myself because I'll probably just confirmation bias my way into voting him.
But while I was showering now, I had a thought. It's weird that Sloonei is tunneling so hard on Bob and yet nobody else is caring too much. There have been some skirmishes with Bob here and there, but hardly anybody voicing a strong suspicion on him. Maybe Jack, but Jack suspected everyone. Sloonei made a mega post about Bob on Day 2 and only I voted with him. He did it again on Day 4 and we went for Malakim.
And this is where I put my tinfoil hat and think "if Bob is a civ, baddies would have seized this chance by now". I mean, look at the malakim lynch. Resistance to it was pitiful. Scum probably either voted for malakim or made sure not to oppose it too hard.
So guys, let's put this on the table. Sloonei believes Bob is bad, and seems to believe harder than anyone believes in anything in this game. How are the rest of you reading Bob? Do you see yourselves lynching Bob tomorrow? Opinions, please.

Kyle, correct. He wouldn't suspect anyone. But he would see players who LOOK bad and can call them out on it evwn though he knows they're civ. I play the exact same way. I don't say someone looks bad unless they look bad. When nobody looks bad, I say nobody looks bad. If you ever think I've made something up, reconsider. I think I'm leaning towards a kyle vote after everything I've read since the JJJ lynch. I spent several days thinking he was civ. But I think I was wrong.
I see some of you are mentioning quin as well. I always seem to get scum vives from him, so I don't like to pursue it much. But I'd be okay with lynching him too. When he is bad, he plays quieter than when he is civ.

I didn't vote him during his lynch. I voted him the day before, at the last second, when it wasn't even going to kill him. And by my clock, I actually missed the deadline and had my vote on Mesk, as I said. When JJJ actually went down, I did nothing to help that happen. I voted my old suspicion Speedchuck, and I think that when I left my vote on speedy and went to bed, it tied him up with JJJ, or possibly someone else who was a contender that day... I think the JJJ thing only took off after I went to bed, when Epi came in to push it. Yeah that's how I remember it. After I expressed suspicion that Epi was holding back his vote in order to have some baddie control over the lynch.
So, how does that make me look any better to you? To YOU, who have been nipping at me all game... this information (did I use it right?) should, by rights, be shaping up into a nice little case against me. And yet, when the brass ring is within your grasp, you pull a 180 on it.
What gives? Are you bad?
I think its odd you would come at me to saying you might be civ.

Re: Mountain Mafia [NIGHT 4]
Mafia is difficult for me. Epi, when you asked me what I think of Jack, it was like trying to do a look-and-find in my brain, tbh. There are so many players, so many components, so much of not knowing where to place who. It's like when you cook in the kitchen and every ingredient is left out after usage. Dirty pots and pans everywhere and utinsils all over the place. When I go into the kitchen to plate the food, I have to find the lid to each container and put everything away, fill the dw with the dirty dishes and clean off the counter tops even before I can plate the food. If I don't, my brain is overwhelmed by the disorganization and I cannot think straight to plate all the components for each person. Jack is like the lid to the oregano seasoning in a sea of kitchen disarray. This is my view of mafia and why it's so difficult for me.

This is the most substantive post in his history, and it's a bit of a hedge with regard to Epi and LC. He's positioned to do whatever he wants with regard to that feud. These are the only three posts where Jay speculates about Sig's alignment. These all took place in the first two days that we're basically just one long day the first one was part of his puke post that he made immediately upon replacing MP.JaggedJimmyJay wrote: ↑Thu Nov 30, 2017 1:40 amJack's point is fair enough. Re: Jimmy attacking Sig
Not fair to compare early pirates Sig to late pirates Sig and then contrast early pirates Sig with Sig here cause he got real busy irl. I want to hear more from Sig and won't give him a pass all game but still. Not a fair comparison imo.
The first two posts list Sig as a scumread but do it in a way that requires no follow up. Later when questioned on his pirates comparison he softly pulls back from Sig.
I know Sig hasn't really been a hot topic of discussion lately but I think it's notable that Jay never mentioned sig again after this. It seems to me like Jay was either sowing seeds of suspicion to possibly use for later or low-key play punching a teammate as a distancing tactic.

I only doubted to as civ, I think, because you are so helpful -at first it seemed too good to be true. I've definitely come around on you. I think this post you made recently is very good.

~ Any civilians who helped to kill me -- it's alright. I don't blame you. I understand that I have been a different player in this game and that is inherently going to generate suspicion. I'm over it.
~ Second, the activity level in this game has been fantastic to this point. The best thing the civilians can do moving forward is to maintain that through the finish. Do not let this game thread stagnate. That is the single best way to let a mafia team get comfortable.
~ Epi and Jack are full of shit right now. Press them on it when I'm gone. I'd also list Wilgy as a premier suspect.
~ My top town reads are Sloonei, dunya, and Quin.
~ I think speedchuck and malakim handled themselves well in this day phase, particularly toward the end. I'm less thrilled with Long Con.
~ Please at least give my ISOs a look, their primary value is as legacy and that's the whole point.
He names 8 players
Epi, Jack, Wilgy - anitown
sloonei, dunya, Quin - town
speedchuck, mal - positive things
long con - negative things
People he did not name at all in his "legacy post":
Elo
Kyle
insertnamehere
colonialbob
sig
nutella
DDL
Three scum remaining, it's a pick and mix. No way he didn't name all 3 of his team mates in that post and no way he would name all 3.
I'm going to start with the people he not name and list them from least scummy to most scummy in my head as of now, with the exception of insertnamehere (insert angry face emoji here)
sig
DDL
colonialbob
Elo
insertnamehere
Kyle
nutella
I wanted to place insertnamehere in the middle, but I actually feel much better about Elo today after reading some of her past civ games, so I'll place him one spot under here.
Potential suspects from this pool imo are:
INH
Kyle
nutella
I'm a little baffled as to why he didn't name nutella amongst "top town read", or colonialbob in any read, especially after his iso of him, since it's (the fact he didn't means he's not even really paying attention to bob imo, despite being slightly pro-bob all game....). I can't extend that same excuse to nutella, since she's literally been a "top town read" in everyone's lists and she was attacking him all kinds of harsh that eod phase. He couldn't have forgotten about her. He wanted us to forget about her. The one thing that clears nutella slightly for me is how hard Jay went after sprityo (my alter ego) for voting for her! He was hoping to lynch him fast and it all revolved around nutella. I feel awkward about that, because a sprityo lynch would be a town flip; and I don't think he'd want to be that wrong about someone over another scum member.

Re: Mountain Mafia [NIGHT 4]
I didn't write nutella off and was reprimanded for even bringing her up at one point recently. But then again... I think it was Nutella who reprimanded me. I totally can see nutella being bad still.Sloonei wrote: ↑Sun Dec 03, 2017 11:24 am I feel you, dunya. It's entirely plaisible we all crossed nutella off our lists prematurely. Her behavior before the lynch was what did it for me, though, and not her reaction to it. She seemed to anticipate that a tie would happen. It's possible this was just a gambit that miraculously paid off. But the question of why she's still alive is a good one. I think there are answers thay don't have to involve her being scum, but it's still worth addressing.

Re: Mountain Mafia [NIGHT 4]
I just went from 1 simple order this week to four orders (3 of them pretty elaborate) so I'm a little overwhelmed but thankful for such work so close to Christmas.
I think the theory of baddie teammates bussing jay is probably true. I'm guessing at least two jay voters are bad. All game, I've seen kyle as good. But now I'm second guessing. I have some motherly duties and some ingredient shopping to do and then I'm going to read through his posts again.

Re: Mountain Mafia [NIGHT 4]
Yay, caught up. So, guess what guys... I'm feeling better. I'm not 100%, but better. Not that dunya cares . She's still making passes at my man...talkin' about being his pet now. Tisk tisk.
This jay lynch is giving me a new perspective on some of you. But I'll share mt thoughts tomorrow. For now, I sleep.

Uh oh, who invited famous Victorian Era English writer and social critic Charles Dickens to play mafia with us and what did he do with our dear friend Epignosis?

Re: Mountain Mafia [NIGHT 4]
Well....good job guys. I had a soft spot for Jay because people were saying he was busy IRL. I hated to lynch a good civ just because he wasn't able to participate AS MUCH AS he normally does. Now....what can we learn from this lynch?
