It’s funny that I am supposedly in Hyena’s PoE and been talking about them for all of today now, but they keep refusing to even address me or respond to anything I’ve said about them.

I told you why I didn't post. I didn't want to out that I was cop, but I didn't know how to handle Nanook's claim. On top of that, I was also pissed at myself for being wrong about Alison and also checking Luck.

This doesn’t make sense to me. I get not wanting to put yourself unnecessarily but when someone is leading everyone into a “fake red check” then that’s the time to do it.

How am I coasting? When I finally did come back D2, y'all literally hammered KZA before I could get anything meaningful done. I had wanted to bait people into thinking that I thought Luck was scummy (I had a green check on them at the time) just to see who would pounce on that, but y'all hammered before that could go anywhere.

Like, don't get mad at me simply for 1.) not knowing what to do about Nanook claiming a red check on someone even though I know they're not the cop, and 2.) not being able to post more because y'all hammered before I could post more.

Does anyone have a moment to check the timing on this? Did hyena post at all between nanook claiming red check and the hammer because I feel like it was about 24 hours or so and that seems like ample time to do something about it. All it would have taken is one post

No, I still care. I just feel bad for JJJ when people keep saying they don’t want to play. I’ve hosted enough games that I know it isn’t fun to have to read that in your game.
And it makes the game less fun with people keep saying how much they hate it. I want to play a fun game.

People who know Hyena: is it likely from a town perspective they would let a day go by with nanook claiming red check on KZA and lead everyone into voting there without saying anything?

I almost feel like voting Deli today from a best chance to get a wolf perspective from all the checks

I know I’m town, and I can’t see Esooa being mafia at this point. So that would leave Deli, ejj, nanook

I have to find nanooks checks again. But off the top of my head I think both cops are claiming Sparkles v, and both leave Deli in the PoE

Town make mistakes scum reading people too though. That’s not damning evidence to me.

nanooks excuse for being scummy day 1 is that it was intentional, and for day 2 really the only thing we can bring up to town read him for is "twtbaf"

People always think nanook plays an anti town game though. (By always I of course mean in this little amount of time I’ve played with you all since my return to mafia) I just feel like he is suspected for how he plays every game because people can’t look past it. Granted I skimmed a lot in the beginning, but I didn’t see any glaring anti town behaviour if we take out pushing KZA as a false red check.

No one ends up caring about the risk of it pays off though. We maybe have all been a little annoyed that we were lied to but glad was caught a mafia.

I don’t think we are going to agree on this. It’s not a play I would have made, I’m just throwing my two cents out there that I don’t think the game is over because of it and I don’t think it’s a ban-worthy offence as was suggested at one point I believe.

Creature coming back as town could mean hyena check right, but could mean still hyena lying so perhaps still better to solve the nanook vs hyena thing today.

Personally I don’t want to rush another vote and have another hammer like yesterday. But I also feel like maybe we can’t move on tile we decide hyena or nanook

I don’t love nanook’s play yesterday, but honestly I’ve seen crazier plays in my mafia history. If it had been right we would all be applauding it right now. Again, didn’t love it because it was wrong, but I’m not on board with the “he should be banned” for this mentality. It’s one day period. He didn’t throw the whole game. We need to get it together now.

The PoE for hyena leaves just me, Esooa (who i don’t have any lingering suspicions of right now as I doubt this is a wolf game she is playing) and I believe it was one or two others, so it’s not possible as far as I’m concerned.

I read all the mafia strategy. Still really doesn’t seem worth it to me, but I guess just because I wouldn’t do it doesn’t mean someone else wouldn’t.
Sometimes mafia do the unlikely because it’s unlikely and they can get by on that.

I try not to read too much into past games but I checked back in another to see if you wanted to vote a zero poster like this when you were town (Fargo mafia - Dom) and you didn’t. So it reads as possibly opportunistic to me

I jokingly voted Esooa yesterday but now I have some mild suspicion there that I’m just trying to figure out.

She seemed annoyed enough at one little vote to vote for me briefly for non activity of one day despite seemingly talking about much greater suspects. Then ending up on the wagon of a townie. (She says that she wanted to switch her vote and it was too late. This could be genuine or “convenient”)

I had a horrendous fall today and I’ve spent the afternoon monitoring baby’s movements to see if I need to go to the hospital. It’s some pretty scary shit.
