What about 3J? Why single out dunya?nutella wrote: ↑Tue Feb 13, 2018 10:07 pm @Epignosis, there is at least one serious flaw in your analysis. You clear Iron_Dwarf, Kites, and Kenway for not getting picked, yet several people said that they'd choose one RYMer, and you didn't take that into account as a likelihood that these players would be picked. There is absolutely no reason you should clear these players.
Otherwise you have some decent thoughts. Your dunya analysis is intriguing, though there is a lot of WIFOM involved there. Still seems like a really far-fetched tinfoil based on her playing style so far though, but perhaps I shouldn't discount it out of hand

Bringing it up was the genesis of the interaction between he and I though, to my memory.
Looking here, I'd say this is his answer. When I say things like "Here's an observation -" It's the same thing. I'm not trying to make a read of it, but it's something that can go in the back pocket to be evaluated later, or something I'm inviting others to read into.JaggedJimmyJay wrote: ↑Sun Feb 11, 2018 9:14 pmI still don't have an answer. no and noJaggedJimmyJay wrote: ↑Tue Feb 13, 2018 9:08 pm A few people have encountered my spat with Dr. White and discarded it as civilian-civilian. I am irked. He might be a civilian; you could be right. I want a more thorough discussion than that though. Too often do players have a tendency to see two players screaming at each other and just assume "meh, civ-civ". I'm going to reduce my concern to one primary factor:
Dr. White wrote: ↑Sun Feb 11, 2018 8:44 pm I too do not like how Mac tried to make a quicklist of reads based on pretty much intuition alone. Even if on vacation, why posit that as contribution? Seems like he was trying to feign activity. The split between him and colonial is very interesting.
I however found JJJ "strong town reading" Colonial interesting, since it was solely on the grounds of him listing his own reads. Mafia can easily do that as well as to not appear like they are parroting . That is a very interesting link given the colonial-Mac dynamic. The first post is the "interesting" sandwich. Don't concern yourself with the specific word. Just read the content and then proceed to the highlighted material below.Dr. White wrote: ↑Mon Feb 12, 2018 9:35 pm That's complete and utter bullshit JJJ and you know it. You are clearly being super daft at the original quote, which you have been called out for by others. Saying the interaction between you two is "interesting" is very clear. It was very sus that you would so strongly town read someone THAT EARLY in D1, simply because he gave his own reads that weren't apart of the major town babble. You keep conflating this as if bob had 100 post in Day 1, and 36 hours had passed or something. It was extremely early and on questionable grounds that you gave him such a strong read.
This however does not force the conclusion that both or either of you are scum, which you keep trying to use as a means to sus me for not directly stating such. I am simply making my take on an interaction known. Yes you could be scum buddies, or you could be using him for town cred. I don't know yet, it is something to build upon in later interactions between you two and others in the thread. To quote your system "you lost a point there". Now what you're doing is like someone saying "what do you mean by that JJJ? Why don't you just come out and say I'm scum!".
The fact that you've latched on to me so strongly from this, keep questioning my blatant as hell meaning with the quote, and now are trying to push this narrative that I'm ducking you, is very, very suspect, and I honestly don't believe you are this daft.
Do you believe the following two things are true and fair?
1. Dr. White's meaning was obvious.
2. I should have known Dr. White's meaning.
Question. Does RYM hate that word as much as you do?

Mafia are more likely to vote because they need to appear to be leveling up every phase. I can't argue that rabbit and lap aren't scum since they're MIA completely, but I'd wonder if sprityo, Quin and Dr. White understood how leveling up occurs.

Suspicious of Nutella for reasons stated earlier, super wary of Epignosis for reasons noted earlier. I think you have made a few statements along the lines of "I have never seen x happen in a Mafia game" or "I would never do y in that position" which make me feel weird. That one post Kenway made a billion pages ago that other people pointed out as spine tingling also made my spine tingle. Can I go home yet?
A scum Epignosis might want people to believe that there is something to be gleaned from the exercise when there isn't. Or try to mislead somehow from that information. But I'm not really sure if Epignosis is scum. As for the second part, I have answered this, I said I would pick people at random because I don't know anybody here.

See:dunya wrote: ↑Mon Feb 12, 2018 11:20 pmI meant he participated; he told him that his picks would have been totally random (as several other players said). And Colin's argument wasn't about what scum Epi was trying to do in the exercise, it was about how Epi drew so much attention to himself as someone who was plotting scum's downfall so openly in the thread on Day 1 with an exercise he initiated.Quin wrote: ↑Mon Feb 12, 2018 11:16 pmI did. JJJ is the likeliest candidate but putting him and Dunya on a scum team is probably predictable, so I'll choose MacDougall instead. I don't know why but I always want to be on his good side. Also, I've been scum with him before, so there's that.
speaking of epignosis, he’s the most suspicious person imo. i don’t know if this ”who would your mafia mates be” survey is a common thing on this site but i don’t remember people doing it in rym games. it doesn’t give any useful information, cos the answer is so easy to fake it might actually help scum mislead people i dunno
i think he’s just tryna make a false impression he’s contributing sth valuable to the game

When I think about early content the first "real" contributors I recall are you and rdw. I don't know where the latter is now, but you stand out as wanting to get things done.Dragon D. Luffy wrote: ↑Mon Feb 12, 2018 7:00 amSorry, what are you talking about? You mean when I took a while to give someone a role because I hadnt read the rules?

As usual, the tiers are ordered but the names within them are not. First person to quote the entire rainbow list is getting mooned.

Re: Fire Emblem Draft Mafia [Day 1]
I like Dr.White because I've never seen him before and he's telling everyone to get out of his way and DDL for getting stuck in before and more than anybody else despite the nature of the draft. There's nobody I dislike.

I'm also drawing a blank. It's not from a GBA iteration, at least.gwilikers6 wrote: ↑Sun Feb 11, 2018 10:16 pmI have no idea what this is, for the record. Every character has a phrase they say when if they die, and that's what this looks like to me, but I have no idea.dunya wrote: ↑Sun Feb 11, 2018 10:09 pmbecause you're the only 4 in the thread who I am aware have played this game.Kylemii wrote: ↑Sun Feb 11, 2018 10:08 pmwhy did you ask these 4 specific players anyways?

Meet JaggedJimmyJay. His early roleplay was a treat thoughColinIsCool wrote: ↑Sun Feb 11, 2018 7:03 pm JJJ: sorry, I erased a sentence in there and didn’t ever rephrase it. Your assertions of being super town and huge level of activity (note: dunya also has earned this vibe) seem sketchy. I’ve seen in almost every game I’ve ever played that mafioso/anti-town who wants to be a leader and it’s an automatic flag from me.
On mobile but let me dig up the posts re: your second point.

I had a google page open on marmot eating habits and was all ready to be funny and say "Actually..." but they are, in fact, herbivores. Can you elaborate on this? What exactly are you looking at?JaggedJimmyJay wrote: ↑Sun Feb 11, 2018 4:22 amIt's at least relevant, though it's not the only concern. Context matters on a per-player basis with the unique draft dynamic considered too.

Re: Fire Emblem Draft Mafia [Day 0]
I don't think they drafted each other. When the first scum flips their draft pick is gonna wind up under scrutiny which could have been avoided. WIFOM, but whatever.dunya wrote: ↑Fri Feb 09, 2018 8:57 pmprobably, if everyone was online and stayed online, but unlike what you and Kyle are saying, I don't see them giving each other all roles between them. That's too ~linky~ and wouldn't happen imo. Only a Marmot would do that.
