You're saying those things make him look better because he wouldn't do it. I'm saying he would definitely do it (as would Long Con or Epi) as a summer.

1. I was disagreeing with your case. You knew that was happening. You told someone else that was what I was doing.dunya wrote: ↑Thu Jan 18, 2018 8:28 pmQuin's reaction to my case - a $3 rating which is pretty low, considering he gave me $20+ for replacing in, which is the high end of the spectrum.Spoiler: show
he only made 3 or 4 more posts after that, the other sig related was a quote to his iso and a $9.90 rating, see below:in terms of what was posted in that crazy phase, I'd say this was Quin basically shutting down the sig lynch to the best of his ability.Spoiler: show
Quin's post sig flip posts:
I won't link to his comments during Night 2 (now).Spoiler: show
I'll let everyone else be the judge of whether or not Quin basically implied as best as he could he wouldn't hop on the sig bandwagon given our difficult posting restrictions (for a stance, a reason) and how post sig reveal he immediately excused himself and gave a reason to why he didn't hop on board. It felt too calculated to me and unnatural, sorry.
2. I told you I didn't like the case. But 9.90 isn't "shutting down the case". My read on sig was neutral. was comparing my read on sig to my read on lapluie.
3. I told you why I didn't hop on board because you accused me right out of the gate.

Re: Mortal Kombat Mafia [Night 2]
In the past three or so games I've played with her this has been a factor that's made her look good. It's a tried and tested way to score points as a townie for her. I think it's outdated now.JaggedJimmyJay wrote: ↑Thu Jan 18, 2018 11:05 amSee my prior post for a GTH guess.Jackofhearts2005 wrote: ↑Thu Jan 18, 2018 10:58 am @JaggedJimmyJay
Who is bad with Wilgy?
What do you think of Tony and Dunya at this point?
I have some gripes with Tony. Those gripes feel uninspired. He doesn't know Glorfindel like many of us do and it's understandable that he wouldn't be enthusiastic about handing him the key to the city without any background on him. All else aside he did work hard to make the best of his curse.
dunya thoughts to follow:
I think she looked civilian when jumped into the thread and rapped her heart out. There are easier ways to get a mislynch in a widely-spread tally like the one we had pre-sig case. I think it's more likely that she pushed that case because she believed in it than because she had some kind of nefarious objective to take advantage of an opportunity. That smells like tinfoil to me, and not the sort that tends to amount to something.Jackofhearts2005 wrote: ↑Thu Jan 18, 2018 10:58 amI thought the Sig case was convincing but he wasn't my first choice and I can see the points against Dunya for making that case at that time given how it turned out, esp pushing votes away from Wilgy and Tony.
Calling dunya mafia is most easily accomplished by gluing her to one of the other lynch candidates of the day, like Wilgy. That's a weak premise, IMO.

Easy for baddies to hide behind "being confused."
I literally quoted her and told her saying she was confused and told her to pay more attention to what's going on around her. I quoted her asking why everyone was talking funny and told her it was because of the chaos realm. I quoted her talking about clues, said to trust me and then pointed out baddie behavior.
All of which received zero response, even though she made posts in between.
There's being confused and there's not trying. I don't see the townie motivation here.
Personally, I think we both have a skewed perspective as people who'd try and get something done regardless of the circumstances. If a new, novice player (I can count the games she's played on 1 hand) had that thrown at their face, do you think they'd be more likely to get scared off, or that they'd buckle down and get to business?
Once upon a time, I was a neutral bounty hunter/masoner but I could only say "I am Groot" via BTSC. I targeted ColonialBob on Night 2 even though I was almost certain he wasn't my target because he's a smart chap and he was able to figure out like...40% of what I was trying to tell him by using just those words, including a rainbow list, evaluations of claims and my own win condition. Helped me and the town both win.
So maybe I have unrealistic expectations.

@Quin
Your thoughts on Eloh? I remember you being right about her when I was wrong in Mountains.
I think she's good here. I liked her first post, a massive middle finger to the activity of the thread for some reason.
When given the chance to catch up and take the lead because of players who would normally dominate discussion (Jack, Jimmy, Sloonei, Quin) being quieted one way or another, she told everyone to stop messing around so we could figure out who to lynch....then didn't do anything.
There's a sort of stubborn confidence in there that I don't see coming from scum. I also think she has a tell which I'm not seeing yet, but I'm more likely to see that after she's had some pressure put on her.

I see no hunting from Lap. Not even pretend hunting.

TSP, if that's inaccurate then say so.
I was generally suspicious of the people not cursed because I didn’t percieve Glor and Lap as trying to actually interact. I understand that it was probably very frustrating for them as I just quoted Iron Man at them or as they tried to communicate with Chicago lyrics, but Glor seemed to be giving up and I wanted to motivate him to offer up some discussion. In general after that day I am more suspicious of those who tried to use the curses as an excuse for making easy arguments or not trying to participate in discussion.
Who are these people?

Simon was going to be simengar for obvious reasons. I didn't have any other ones planned. I had Bulbapedia open in a different tab for the entirety of the last 48 hours.

To hear Glor and Lap try to figure it out, we might as well have been speaking Klingon.

Actually I have to say that the thing I hate most about Day 2 was that I didn't get a sweet Pokemon nickname from Kyle.

My vote for BWT was because I didn't see the thread getting this sort of content out while nearly everyone was insanified. When I realised I was wrong I voted for you because I don't think you did much of anything but ask other people to talk. That bothered me.

It'd be better than lynching someone who showed up.
