Hmm. Maybe not quite that.

I'm curious if there's a chance we're wrong and TH's arguments toward you are in good faith, like if he's not on Mac's team. Knowing his role would influence that a lot. I still think you two aren't teamed, despite what others have said.

I'm not talking about how many posts you make or how long the posts are -- these are dependent upon time.

I'm talking about the words you use.
Which are affected by the time I have to consider them, dwell on them, and invest in them. Don't be obtuse.

This game is... running at about ninth on my priority list, where this time last year it would be maybe third or fourth. That takes some emotion/feeling/investment out of it.

I got twenty minutes. Lets go.
I actually wanna hear this :haha:
There's not much to hear, yo. You give me vibes. Even with this post you give me vibes.

"Someone suspects me!? I LAUGH! Tell me of this inconsequential suspicion, fellow townie, and we'll work it out over tea." It's, just, it doesn't feel genuine.
It comes more from a PoV of me having a civ role and transparently laying out my thoughts, which would make me believe I'm obvious town (I never filter my thoughts) and me never being mislynched in one year of mafia is also contributing towards this. I'd rarely been suspected as town so I have high expectation when such claims occur.

Ok, I got lynched once but that was when I was on a holiday at the sea and I didn't care enough to stress myself
Too calculated a response. Bad.

I mean, if you're seriously genuine here, then you have an ego the size of a train and self-analysis out the butt. It doesn't read like transparently laying out thoughts.

So hey, if you never get mislynched, and we lynch you today, then you must be scum, right? Otherwise you wouldn't get lynched.
In case you wanted to look for it, this started my early suspicion of Ted. That never went away. I still feel Ted is scum.

I feel nothing about Colin, which is a bad sign.

I would lynch TH before Jay, to clear things up regarding their dichotomy.

Michelle still rubs me the wrong way, but I'm 50/50 on if that's just a different way of looking at the game.

I don't fault you for being short on time and having less overall to offer. That's the way it goes. What I do think is different for This Speedchuck over Those Speedchucks though is your handling of suspicion. In the recent past, I remember you falling into similar POE positions where you were kind of a default suspect merely for not having a lot of content. Then, when someone tried to lynch you, you showed fire in your resistance to that.

You did it to me in the MU Season 6 Scrimmage when I was trying to mislynch you. You didn't shrug and say whatever. You fought back against a JJJ that you viewed as nefarious trying to take advantage of you. You've said that you suspect me in this game too (still not clear on why), and here I am now driving a wagon that threatens to end you. In response, I get no fire. I get shrugs.

This is just hard to believe, this notion that you're baffled by my expectation that emotion should be visible. This is ordinary Mafia hunting stuff, not some novel attack that I've invented for the 2019 GOC. Your sarcastic orange thing before that reinforces the idea.

As I alluded to here, I've succeeded at my goal this game with the limited time I've had. I've been involved, I've existed, I'm a person that can be read and can be counted on to vote. But I'm not going to make anyone 'feel' this game.

I can ignore incompatibility because hey, if someone is incompatible with Mac they can still be compatible with sig.

Ok, why does multiball matter when you suspect everyone with a vote? In the purest sense, it’s still an either-or, black-white, good-bad situation if you are a civvie. This feels like it’s for show.
Because some of my scumreads are not compatible to be on the same team with each other.

I don't care if you think it's for show. I'm amused that all the wagons right now are lynches that could compete with each other, yet could also all be scum.

It’s just fancy code names for tone reads

Epi was awkward in his exchange with J and you have good tone

Are you gonna get anything from my alignment out of me developing why a tone is good / bad for me? I don’t even think I can do that tbh, it will turn out to be an incoherent chaining of words that don’t help anyone to read me

I just wanted to throw my suspicions out and let people know who I’m observing. It’s page 2 reads anyway, it’s some place to build from.
Tone reads always have underlying reasons.

I can't tell you what I'm going to get out of anything. I do things so we can all see what happens. Do you not want me to ask you questions?
How’d you twist me explaining why tone reads are holistic and are really subjective into me not wanting you to ask me questions lol. My point was that it’s an unproductive way of sorting me, not that I wouldn’t want you to ask me questions lol

Regarding J’s request, i’ll do it some time later prob in like 30 minutes idk i have class

Cyaaaaa
Your bottom two paragraphs read like you don't want to be part of this conversation. "Don't ask me to explain these things, just accept them." I will read you, one way or another, based on what I can glean from your activity. This is our first real mafia game together. My thing is that I ask people questions. Your answers will always tell me something.

Linki: stop posting, dickbutts.
I gave ted a generic Day 0 prod and he responded more defensively than I would have expected. "I just wanted to throw my suspicions out and let people know who I’m observing" felt particularly out of place, since the nature of my initial question was "can you explain the reads you just shared?"

I got an overdefensive vibe from this too, and I am likewise bringing it up for relevance.

Moreso, claiming she read his ISO but holding him accountable ONLY for this slip thing is wolfy.
I hate the entire premise underlying this dig on juliets. "You are suspecting sig for the wrong reasons" -- he gave her a bunch of crap for her focus upon the Dizzy-borne "slip" theory against sig instead of whatever other theories were available. I have three gripes:

1) juliets was hardly the only person placing heavy emphasis upon Dizzy's ghost theory. He pulled her out of a hat. She has had vaguely negative energy from various other players all game long, and it makes her a prime target for this kind of bullshit.

2) There is nothing inherently wrong with that theory being the focus. This mindset looks fake.

3) tedxtr insisted more than once that the "slip" could be explained via town-TMI as much as mafia-TMI. I frankly think that's incorrect.

I'm just going off mac's history of fighting for his life as town. He fights as wolf too sure, but in this case I'd buy that he is tired of how the game has been going for him and figures his best chance at a win is sacrificing himself and letting his teammates go on. (and maybe he figures if he resigns to being lynched we're less likely to figure out who those might be -- though ofc some people are still defending him, but that doesn't make them his teammates)
Or he’s town sick of this shit. It’s NAI 🤷‍♀️

"Mac is scum, but but don't read that for the self-vote."

The circumstances are different, as Nanook didn't go hard against anyone for it, but I still think this is scummy.
I guess I’m scummy for arguing with people that they were TRing me for bad reasons too 🤷‍♀️
Yes? Yes, that is scummy. It would be scummy even by itself. I didn't even see you had done that, so thanks for pointing it out.

There are plenty of scum motives for arguing about your own townread, and few town motives. One of those scum motives is that you can bank on your honesty and objectivity for credit, as you are here. Another scum motive is to talk about your own townread instead of talking about anything useful. (You know your alignment and know what you want to present it as, so anything you say about it is pretty pointless.)

On top of that, this particular post just deflects my observation without accounting for it, tossing sarcasm and misdirection out there.

It's not a slam dunk, but I believe Nanook is scum.

2nd reaction is that, well, that was kinda Dom's point. There's nothing to really react to, even though I'm Jay's number 2 suspect (not including Sig). Even Jay's on analysis says 'meh, compatible.' Is the game really that towny?

All that said, Jay just spent 48 hours in an echo chamber where I was the only suspect other than maybe michelle. So. That influences your mindset.
