People that are claiming sig has to be scum and aren't questioning why he couldn't have just TMI as a town role (which is the only thing dys' case can be even pointed to, but I don't think that's even a viable probability) is weird. Juliets' vote stuck out like a sore thumb. She went hard on him for no reason, just based off this nonsensical case, and her calling sig desperate so early feels really fake. Moreso, claiming she read his ISO but holding him accountable ONLY for this slip thing is wolfy.
I hate the entire premise underlying this dig on juliets.
"You are suspecting sig for the wrong reasons" -- he gave her a bunch of crap for her focus upon the Dizzy-borne "slip" theory against sig instead of whatever other theories were available. I have three gripes:
1) juliets was hardly the only person placing heavy emphasis upon Dizzy's ghost theory. He pulled her out of a hat. She has had vaguely negative energy from various other players all game long, and it makes her a prime target for this kind of bullshit.
2) There is nothing inherently wrong with that theory
being the focus. This mindset looks fake.
3) tedxtr insisted more than once that the "slip" could be explained via town-TMI as much as mafia-TMI. I frankly think that's incorrect.

Self voting is typically NAI, and not usually worth reading into unless a player has a (meaningfully large sample size) history of only doing it as one alignment.

I'm just going off mac's history of fighting for his life as town. He fights as wolf too sure, but in this case I'd buy that he is tired of how the game has been going for him and figures his best chance at a win is sacrificing himself and letting his teammates go on. (and maybe he figures if he resigns to being lynched we're less likely to figure out who those might be -- though ofc some people are still defending him, but that doesn't make them his teammates)
Or he’s town sick of this shit. It’s NAI

To be clear I think he’s a wolf, I just don’t think that’s why he’s a wolf

I also think anyone hard pushing the “mac has given up, lol gottem” line should be under a close microscope tomorrow
"Sig can be scum, but don't read that because of the slip."
"Mac is scum, but but don't read that for the self-vote."
The circumstances are different, as Nanook didn't go hard against anyone for it, but I still think this is scummy.
I guess I’m scummy for arguing with people that they were TRing me for bad reasons too
Yes? Yes, that is scummy. It would be scummy even by itself. I didn't even see you had done that, so thanks for pointing it out.
There are plenty of scum motives for arguing about your own townread, and few town motives. One of those scum motives is that you can bank on your honesty and objectivity for credit, as you are here. Another scum motive is to talk about your own townread instead of talking about anything useful. (You know your alignment and know what you want to present it as, so anything you say about it is pretty pointless.)
On top of that, this particular post just deflects my observation without accounting for it, tossing sarcasm and misdirection out there.
It's not a slam dunk, but I believe Nanook is scum.
