I thought about that. It changes the style. It functionally means that people who can only be around for a certain time of day are able to play then. But if there’s only one game then I mean comply with the given EOD or else

JaggedJimmyJay wrote: Wed Aug 07, 2019 2:45 pm Hey players! Let's get some feedback.

1. How did you feel about playing in a game with a posting limit like this?

2. Did you feel 45 posts was a decent limit, or would you make it more/less restrictive?

3. If [Light Game] became a unique game type, could you see yourself signing up for those games consistently?
I like Light games but MU’s software enforcing post count limits and showing total posts with one click (as opposed to 2 clicks and some math if you’ve memorized how many posts you had last day phase and several more if you haven’t here) helps a lot.

I don’t have a good solution to that.

I also like that MU lifts the post restriction an hour from EOD so at least at that time, there’s no worrying about going over the limit.
Agreed on all this, software helps.
I’d also say more restrictive on limit but i don’t think that really would have impacted this game. But like 20 and then remove limit at EOD would present the full game feel and, assuming players could be around at eod, would still theoretically allow for full discussion.

when you see “one of x and y is scum” things thrown out I tend to find that if one is town they’ll either continue to push hard on the other or they’ll drop off of that completely. Scum knows this to be true so they’ll inherently push the line and thus take a middle road. Drago seems to have done that.

I am scared by the sudden Drago pile-up though. Those things always makes me paranoid.

The only thing that was making me think mac was because I remember him saying before that he believes epi is good at figuring out when he's bad. So he'd have motive to kill him off.
I am wondering though if it's worth looking at the fact that rej and juliets both voted together for both of the mislynches.

Nova, this seems a little out of the blue. What has convinced you all of a sudden that Tony is bad? I'm having a hard time reading him, I don't think I've played with him before.
For me, Tony is a highly analytical person, and what I'm seeing isn't very analytical. It isn't very anything, except unhelpful. He called Rej "bait" but didn't say why.

All you non-voters, except Oreki, are looking mighty bad in my eyes, I'm pretty incline to believe that 2/3 scum if not all of them are a part of the non-voters.

I'd beg to differ on the clumsy wording thing. I've seen Rej make a slip as mafia from bad wording. While sure he could learn from his mistakes and be more mindful of his he posts, I won't throw history repeating itself out the window.

Not to mention, what he said was just pretty bad and made no sense from a civilian pov.
I’ve never played with Rej. I can understand your read but I’ve never seen a scum player make consistent slip ups on day 1. I’ll call it NAI and try to focus on the rest.

You are burning posts. None of these three posts accomplish anything except to use three of your 45 available posts. You aren't limiting yourself. You are bad.
I like Epignosis' analysis here. While I probably won't make 45 posts in a phase (probs jinxing myself here), I think wasteful posts are always :eye:-worthy, but in a game like this, especially so. Not only do I like the content of the post, but it makes me feel good about Epi on a gut level. That's new.

:D
This post is bad. I don't like it. I can't really explain it. It's like he's trying too hard to simply agree with Epi. It gives off a vibe of treading with caution as to appear as good as possible as to not say anything bad. The emote at the end further reinforces this read.
