Re: Pikachu Tribe - Day 7

Scotty can you include these in your next update of the pertinent information? I searched for these for an embarrassingly long time and couldn't find them because I was looking for the bright red header and they weren't used on these.

Speedchuck's role and affiliation has been revealed. He is:
You are TOWN. You will win if all anti-town factions are eliminated.

You are 59: The Moon (Elemental). Each night, you will PM one element to the hosts (Light, Darkness, Gas or Dust) and one player to be targeted for any effect the element may have. If the Sun is in the game, they will also choose one element out of Light, Darkness, Gas or Dust. When you and the Sun are both in the game, your element choices will combine to form one effect. Each combined effect may only be triggered once. The Sun's target will get the benefit of any positive effect, while your target will suffer any negative effect. You may not choose the same element or the same target on consecutive days. You will not be informed of the effects of your elements.
He is still alive. Carry on.

Nijuukyugou's role and affiliation has been revealed. She is:

You are 5: The Gunslinger (All Fall Down). Once, during a day phase, you may kill a player (by sending a PM to the hosts).

SVS, I'm sorry to go back to a question I've asked multiple times but I wanted to be sure I understood you, you think Speedchuck was bad but looked good both here and in his second lynch because of nutella and LC together? I'm finding this whole fake flip thing confusing and trying to sort through it. Do you right now believe Speedchuck was good and his last lynch flip was authentic or do you think he was bad and his lynch flip was faked to show him as a civ? I know this seems like something that is unimportant since he is dead now, but I'm looking things over and it could actually be pretty relevant for what I am looking at.

Look I don't care if you agree with me. Last time I felt this way about Wilgy was in Mountain Mafia I believe, I couldn't get over the fact that Wilgy was playing so straightforward and... normal, really contributing a lot. I commented on it and everyone talked me out of, saying either "he's just being Wilgy" or saying "he's really contributing." So I backed off. And guess what his alignment was. Upon looking back he did the same thing as Tim Whatley in Seinfeld where he was also bad.

I don't usually depend so strongly on a meta, but I think dismissing them entirely as not mattering at all is foolish. And I refuse to be talked out of it this time. Until I feel there is a damn good reason to believe otherwise, I remain very convinced of his alignment in this game.

Re: Pikachu Tribe - Night 8

Boomslang was an early suspicion for me for a couple reasons:

He jumped on discussion about everyone outing whether or not they sent in a haiku once we were told anyone who did was unlynchable Day 1 and pushed for everyone doing this.

He voted for sig because of the previously mentioned 70% comment.

In the first case it looked to me like a Baddie trying to look like they are putting work into the game, without actually being helpful. I mean, if you were bad you would just lie about. All we would have been doing was wasting time talking about it that could be spent talking about who to lynch.

In the case of the second I could see no way a stupid comment like that would make sig bad. Why would a baddie say, "I think I might have sent a haiku in" when they know that doing so would have made them unlynchable? It only made sense as a silly civ moment. Later sig revealed he said it on purpose to see how people responded to it. It's too easy a thing to lie about and thereby discourage people from voting for you to be a Baddie slip up imo. And it made me really suspect him for it because it seemed like the logical explanation, so taking such an illogical stance seemed strange to me coming from Boom.

However, he feel off my radar completely since then. I don't know what opinion I currently have of him. I can't recall anything he said or did since then and that was Day 1 and 2...

WHO ARE YOU PEOPLE!
Thanks for your single contribution to the day, good doctor.

See, this is the kind of stuff we’ve been getting from Wilgy most the game.. I say most because it started off with very direct dialogue and purpose. But it’s been even sillier and ramped up since SpaceDaisy alluded to bad Wilgy harboring a more straight-forward serious approach. Is this civ play?
No, good Wilgy plays jokey and shticky, but he actually has insight he puts out there if you are willing to sort out what he is saying. Civ WIlgy actually has a pretty good idea for baddies.

More importantly, heck yeah.
LOL, well done Sloonster! You called it.

What did nijuukyugou do during Day 1 / Night 1?
Pretty much nothing except a soft defense of Boomslang when he came under suspicion early. And her response to nutella being revealed as her proton/electron BTSC partner seemed odd to some of us. But if you were bad, and you were NOT on a team with your electron/proton BTSC partner, it would make sense you wouldn't ask who they were, because you wouldn't want to know. So it makes sense if nutella didn't ask. But did Blooper literally say nothing as Nutella said? Because I thought Blooper said they had barely said anything. Meaning, I was under the impression she said something at least... When I asked about this before none of my previous tribe mates responded. Does anyone remember if Blooper said she hadn't said anything?

Re: Pikachu Tribe - Day 8

So here is the meta based case I made on Wilgy.

If you look at his games from 2017, 2018 you see that Wilgy tends to play more seriously when he is bad. By that I mean, he doesn't use shticks. He still jokes around some but nowhere near as much if he is civ. When he is civ, he contributes and actually I find him to be a really formidable player but he tends to do so in shtick format and be a lot more jokey.

In my previous tribe I even linked to his ISOs from games where he was civ, bad and 3P. In my mind, it seemed clearly like his play this game was similar to his baddie game play. But obviously I didn't get a lot of people who agreed with me or he would have been lynched at least once. I still believe my suspicion of him to be well founded. Since I made the accusation he made one reasoned defense directed to me and has since just fallen into barely posting and when he has, it's a joke without content.

So take all that as you will.

I'm willing to consider moving my vote if no one else feels like there is reason enough to vote Wilgy, but I still think he is bad.

Scotty wrote: Sun Mar 18, 2018 12:42 am @Spacedaisy I’m curious where you stand with Marmot. Should we spare him? Should we throw him into a gorge?
I will try perhaps tomorrow morning to write up an explanation of my suspicions, but they would have to take my word for it. In case no one has noticed, since my case built on Wilgy based on his meta, he has changed how he was playing substantially, which frankly just makes me feel all the more certain he is bad. Unfortunately, they won't be able to see how he behaved before my case against him so they can't really compare his behavior before to his previous Baddie and Civ games. But I will type a synopsis tomorrow perhaps before work.

Regarding Marmot, I am no where near as confident in his bad alignment as I am about Wilgy, but I can certainly see Sloonei's case and I am not opposed to a Marmot lynch either.

Who would you like to vote today?
DrWilgy or Marmot.

Does anyone remember if Blooper said she talked or not in her chat.

If nutella is bad, I would believe Blooper is too. But if they had some other means of BTSC, I don't think it is nearly as suspicious as I first thought. We found her suspicious originally because she was shocked to learn she was talking to someone in the other tribe. It seemed weird to me at the time because I would think the first thing on your mind would be, "Who am I talking to?" or "What tribe are you in?" But she was just like, "Whoa, that's crazy!!" I asked her about it and her response was not what I expected, but it was believable at the same time. I'm a little torn there. I think they most likely had the same alignment, be it good or bad. But I don't know that, this is all just me spitballing.

I still think Wilgy is bad news.
