The truck smelled like old pizza and body odor.

“Jesus, Stanley, take a damn shower before a stakeout!” A man who appeared to be in his mid-thirties exclaimed as he set a tray of coffees down on a makeshift table in the middle of the box truck.

“Fuck off, Drake.” Stanley retorted, grabbing one of the cups and sloshing coffee onto the floor. He had an oversized set of headphones on and he was watching a tiny screen.

“Anything yet?” Sgt Drake asked.

“Nah, not yet. Did you get any more information from the Feds?”

“The best I got was this file.” He dropped a folder on the table, promptly staining it with spilled coffee. “They won’t give us any info on their men inside.”

“How do we know they aren’t conspirators in Rondo’s murder?”

“We don’t.”

“So we just wait and watch and see who comes out the other side?”

“Pretty much. We can’t risk making any arrests until we know we aren’t arresting any agents.”

“And the rest of these jokers are just neighborhood watch or somethin’?” Stanley slurped his coffee, watching the screen where the HOA’s Halloween party was continuing onward, as if Rondo hadn’t just been murdered by Spacedaisy.

“Home Owner’s Association. They’re trying to jack up their property prices for a developer or some shit like that. Gentrification at its finest, am I right?”

“Fuck, HOA’s are the worst!”

“You can say that again,” Drake replied, as he settled in to watch and listen until they had the damning evidence they’d need. This would be the longest and most confusing stakeout of his life.

Something caught his attention and he leaned forward with interest. “Are you seeing this?”

Stanley nodded, looks like they think they’ve found an agent.” On the small black-and-white screen, the crowd was pressing in around Scotty.

“What are they saying?” Drake asked his partner.

“It’s hard to make out, a lot of yelling. All I can get is they think Scotty is an agent.”

“Are they?”

“Your guess is as good as mine. Do we move before this goes south?”

“We have to hold until we’ve got visual confirmation of the murderers. The bureau will have our asses if we arrest one of their agents and blow their cover.”

The scene quickly devolved into a pushing match and it became more difficult to tell what was happening. “Wait, where’s Scotty?”

“Shit! I lost visual… oh no.”

“Is that Scotty on the floor?”

Stanley just nodded, dumbfounded at how fast it had all happened. In a heap in the room was the lifeless body of Scotty

i just looked at wwa's posts, she has difficulty getting into the thread and the post i tr of hers at like 5am was P#195, which after not being near sleep looks fakeable. i'd go with her. my reasoning for svs is that while she hasn't done anything ai i've liked her posts & would like to play with her later. long con feels like the most towny for reasons i have said

I was actually going to write a crappy case on Porscha and vote her but apparently I decided to play computer games and sleep instead of doing anything in the game lol

Maybe cause I was doing the usual thing where I talk about my scum meta or being self-aware or whatever, but I can just as easily do it as scum I am quite sure that there must be someone who townreads me who's a wolf and it's very likely someone who doesn't know my meta.

I don't think you're scum for your read on me, i haven't finished backreading but I'm pretty sure you thought I was scum in Pokémash for similar reasons and we were both town so lol. My D1 entrance is consistently always trash, I don't think anyone has ever called my first couple posts towny, so I don't think the scumreads are unwarranted.

Just so I don't waste posts, I'll change topics here and add some reads.
I think Robyn is even townier than I thought earlier, I think svs is also towny, and I think Brad is towny too. Bereft is still towny imo, and so is Cape. I saw Robyn call Ender and JOH town for slipping about not knowing the game was flipless and I'm not really convinced it isn't fakeable, but I think at least Ender has had decent posts. Don't have much of a read on JOH, all I saw was offering to sheep someone (which I guess he didn't, because he didn't vote) and being stubborn about reading or something. Not sure what to make of it, I know sometimes it's a reason to townread people but idk if that's enough in my eyes.
