I see today looks like it's coming down to JJJ or Floyd, judging off the current votes. I've had quite good feelings about JJJ all game and could see Floyd being bad. His responses to some of Matt's questions I saw during my catchup were pretty lacking. *Votes Floyd* for now at least.

Day 7, faced with a choice between Floyd and I -- opts for Floyd. Decent look from my perspective. I'd have to see what the tally was exactly when this vote came down, because for most of that day I was the clear tally leader and it may have seemed inevitable that I'd die.

Update: I checked, and Bullzeye was the last of the four final votes for Floyd. This is pretty solid, because I think I peaked at 7 votes later in the phase but spent most of it around 5. So his vote did help to make Floyd a viable option over me.

*Voted Russti* since he's my oldest suspicion in the game and I think there are decent reasons to believe he's bad. I also wouldn't mind seeing a Floyd or Bcornett lynch today - one of those is a lot more likely than the other of course.

Voices support on Day 8 for a Floyd lynch but votes for Russ instead. This might be a bit of a problem since the final vote was so close -- only relevant if Russ is non-mafia.

My lack of posting over the first three days was due to an issue I was (and currently, still am) facing. If you wish to discuss this further please PM me.

The post I sent stating an explanation to play the game was genuine. I had read over the rules, but from lack of experience, I was still unsure of a large amount of detail. Since then, I've progressively grooved into it, although I am far from an expert.

With Elohcin, I'm trying to find the posts associating my suspicion. When I find them, I will explain.

I was agreeing on Bullzeye's statement that no one is safe on Mafia. A quick read through the thread proves that statement.

Floyd engaged in a little idle chatter with/about Bullzeye at various junctures of the game. This is more interactivity than I anticipated, and that might be of note for a first-time Mafia player. He might have been inherently more comfortable interacting with his team mates than anyone else. A bit reachy, but there it is.

I think the best thing going for Bullzeye is his Day 7 vote. He put Floyd at a meaningful number of votes as the first counterwagon to my own, and I don't think the content in his posts prior put him in a position where he'd have needed to bus Floyd there. It looks like an organic and well-timed vote. Otherwise it's a rather iffy collection of posts that can't be read thoroughly for convincing insight.

Would I be willing to lynch him today? If someone can show me that his Day 7 vote wasn't as good as it looks now, then yes. Otherwise not feeling it.

Choutas, I showed you where you called mac a scum read. explain pls.

At least not in a way that is known to call someone scum, build a case and lynch someone. Mac acted in a very non Mac way with DrWilgy someone he should have bullied imo. I pointed that as potentially scum interaction yet it still never outdo all the times I saw and read Mac as town. When somebody looks town to you and does one scummy thing do you immediately lynch him? I always had him as a town read in all of my rainbow lists. Am I consistent or not? Floyd has only done scummy things and that's why he's my lynch candidate. doesn't that make sense? What does?
If you think I'm scum you should vote for me. Don't wait for a bandwagon to hop on make that bandwagon and suffer the consequences for it since I'm town all the way.

This was in response to me asking Floyd what would happen if he was lynched. Confidence is maximized.

Choutas was the first vote on the Floyd wagon on both Days 7 and 8. His anti-Floyd perspective has been clear for most of the game, especially the latter half. At some points his language is strong enough that I do wonder if he knows too much about a player who hadn't said a lot. We can certainly give him credit for his role in the lynch though.

Am I willing to lynch this guy today? Naw. I think there were already reasons to trust Choutas, and this doesn't diminish that. The potential for a bus of Floyd does exist, but I am not inclined to prioritize that highly on Day 9.

@floyd why the bea vote? I appreciate that things are busy (I'm busy too) but if you can post threads on OT you can take a minute to explain your past votes, even in just a nutshell. Even better, general thoughts on the game.

Wilgy: pretty happy with his long con explanation/vote, but an in depth, well thought out view on one player who happens to flip scum can more easily be interpreted as bussing than even a 'worse' vote in the context of more 'work.' That's tinfoily from me though and he's not lynchable for me. I'm not happy with llama, still.

Also I was thinking: seeing as long con did flip sum and that the Brian wagon grew as a response to it I think it's fair to say there's a old chance of our scumsters trying to push that wagon. Glad I listened to my senses there and didn't join.

For the most part, I think Diiny appears to be making a real effort to get more out of Floyd. Diiny is typically a somewhat aggressive player in this regard -- he doesn't like it when things are left unexplained. His moves on Day 7 are a little awkward though and I need him to talk about that, as well as few other odd wordings I pointed out above.

Am I willing to lynch this guy today? I'll reserve judgment until he has responded to my questions.

I think he has provided an extremely thorough effort in most phases and I have been willing to trust that he is doing so as a townie who is motivated to win this game. Floyd looks bad, no two ways about it. I'm aware that he's had a horrible situation and that's why his contribution is so low, but even the posts he has made have been borderline scumslips. "Do you mean the in-thread text" being the prime example, to me.

Despite that, I'm not going to lynch him on that unless I have to. For a game of this size to be his first, particularly with the bad timing of his IRL situation, he deserves a chance. I'm familiar with at least part of his position, entering into a large game and being overwhelmed, and I'm not going to lynch him for what he's done so far.

I'm aware this is illogical, and likely unpopular. If the time comes that he participates in the thread and says things that I find suspicious, then I will vote him. Until that point, I'm not going to vote for Floyd. I don't condemn any votes against him, it's a perfectly logical move, but I won't join.

So Fuzz... Why aren't you asking him questions? Why aren't you trying to involve him? Instead you dismiss him until he involves himself?

I don't frown on the first point. Math is math, and I doubt Doc found a way to intentionally paint Floyd in a better light there. The rest of it is pretty inconclusive. The votes on Days 7 and 8 both smell bad to me, so he's going to have to answer for those.

Does the Floyd mafia flip have any impact upon your read of me? I haven't gotten to your analysis yet so we'll see if I find a reason to change my mind. Accusing me of OMGUS isn't going to do that though, it doesn't acknowledge that I have stated real suspicion of you and built a real case.

I had a theory that Elo was just bandwagoning and stuck another name in there to make it look better.

She did wait a while to start talking about Floyd seemingly. As soon as she noticed him, she moved against him and never let up. If this was intended a bus, I think she did an effective job of conveying sincerity through brevity. There's not much manipulative language here, just a player matter-of-factly going about the game her own way.

Yes yesterday I was certain, but JJJ voting for Floyd has me doubting it. Unless of course the other leading wagons were also mafia, which they could have been and JJJ picked the player who was the best to lynch.
