-Mac I'm reading as civ. He is completely different than what he was in Talking Heads.
Funnily enough I'm reading you as scum also, which is why I'm trying to get more posts out of you so you just don't glide to end game. I wonder are you just reading me as scum since I voiced suspicion of you?

I've only played a few games with Glor, but a few of his posts have just been weird. Not something I would pursue right know but something that I think is worth pointing out.
@Glorfindel my question was about a specific post of yours were you mentioned mafia guilt here is the quote it isn't much of a question but seeing how you didn't answer it I was pinged and I really do want an answer.

From my limited experience, what passes for evidence this early on in Mafia games is often little more than a combination of bravado and overactive imagination. All I can see is some particularly harsh accusations being thrown around by some VERY enthusiastic players. I have been around long enough not to mistake aggressiveness in these games with Mafia guilt so a couple of feuding prominent players (at this stage of the game) doesn't convince me that one is necessarily Mafia. From what I've read, Golden seems to make a lot of sense to me
Don't be so humble Glorfindel you've played a good amount of mafia games I doubt you only have limited experience. Also what do you mean by Mafia guilt?
It's really not that hard to understand Sig. I was merely making reference to the fact that just because someone is aggressive generally (or toward me specifically) doesn't NECESSARILY equate to them being Mafia. MP and Zebra are cases in point. Their aggression has been obvious but even though they appear hell bent on my lynching, I don't believe either of them to be Mafia (just sadly misguided). Having said that, the level of aggression displayed is in some cases inappropriate but again, that is my problem and no one elses.

Okay I must be off, I will be voting for Glorfindel today, he is still more suspicious to me then Bcornett. However, I wouldn't oppose a Bcornett lynch at this point.

I'm voting bcornett24. A red flag is a red flag regardless of the rest of his ISO. And I can't think of a more nonredeemable red flag than a complete failure to respond to suspicion followed by a postless OMGUS vote. There is simply no excuse.

Honestly, like with Roxy I don't think I'm in a place to contribute to a lynch of Glorfindel. I was the one who made him openly reluctant to play another game on this site for crying out loud. It just doesn't feel right.
I don't feel as though either Roxy or Glorfindel's comments regarding that matter should have taken place in the thread, so I don't like that they are impacting people's votes.
I don't like it either, but I hope you understand where I'm coming from here.
I do, don't worry, I've been there. I just am commenting from my current position.

They probably shouldn't have, but if it came to it I would rather lose a game than contribute to driving someone away from Mafia.

For the record, I do still suspect Roxy.

Simon and Ninja, for their ultra-bandwagony Bass votes, Glorfindel (because of his Russ vote and his reactions lately), and a little bit Savage. All of these are lower on my suspicion list than Roxy and Bubbles though.

I still want to hear the response from Glorfindel to my most recent question, but I don't think it'll change my mind at this point.

I'm voting Glorfindel. I feel more confident in his content being overreactive and lack of substantive hunting because he is mafia than I do about bcornett. That turn-around by bcornett earlier regarding Golden seemed genuine, and I have trouble justifying his recent OMGUS and absence as something even remotely logical for a mafia member to do. I also want to push this into a two-man race of sorts, assuming both of them pass zebra up, since I think both players have been called out as suspicious for good reasons.

yo whatdafup

shit i'm late. ok so to answer you mp...

i dont have a strong read on zebra one way or another, she just seems like herself and i havent learned to tell her civ and bad games apart. some of her perspective i can understand, some less so. i dont think she should be lynched today.

sig? well, pretty much what i've said before. his game reminds me a LOT of matt who was my teammate in pet sounds. the same way theyre kinda there but mostly just reiterating opinions and asking questions. im not super familiar with his playstyle, but its reading bad to me.

and SPEAKING OF PET SOUNDS. i dont think we should lynch bc either, because this feels SO MUCH like why we lynched him on pet sounds. ofc my baddie team was taking advantage of him then, and we basically jumped at the chance of accusing him of being too harsh on a low poster (which sure got the crowd going). this feels like the exact same. just replace luke with bubbles.

out of the three of us (zeeb bc me) id sooner vote bc, but i still think roxy or even sig are the better options. id also take glorfindel over any of us three, but i feel maybe the way he plays is just the way he plays and it doesnt necessarily make him bad. its peculiar for sure.

Not much. The accusation when looked at objectively is clearly justified. I have clearly not spent the time and effort in 'hunting' as I should have at this point. I could point out that this is partly due to the fact that I have pracitically no point of reference for the behaviour of any player in this game but I won't bother. My judgements and my votes have been based on the only thing upon which I have to rely at this point - gut instinct. I believe that it's served me well so far although you and others obviously dispute that...

On that point, I still remain highly suspicious of Russtifinko (as I have said for some considerable time) and that is again where my vote will lie today.

@Zebra - please don't be concerned about my reaction to you in my post last night - my views and opinions have not changed but as I keep saying, that is my issue to deal with and shouldn't influence in any way your vote.

Guess what?

You're a low poster.
You hear me? You will be feeling the heat. You better participate soon. NOT posting is NOT a strategy to play the game, regardless of your alignment. :srsnod:

Tthis tmentality twill tdrive tplayers taway tfrom tthe tsite - tnot tattract tthem tto tit. :) ti tam tsurprised tmp teven tposted tit. tif tit tis trequoted ti twill tquit tplaying there tmyself.
It wasn't meant to be personal or even entirely serious.

Although I am frustrated that there are a handful of players barely posting, that post was an attempt to get them to post as well as see if players would take it as an opportunity to launch a "lynch low posters" campaign .
I've been having luke-warm mafia feelings about MP for a while, but haven't brought them up because they would just be a re-hash of the same things I suspect him for every game to the point that I've just accepted that I can't read MP at all....but this post actually made me feel a little better about him, mostly because of the bolded part.

As for this lynch...sigh. My instinct was to vote Roxy (for the seemingly "monotone-anger" I mentioned before), but her most recent posts about wanting to quit make me think that what I've been reading as feigned indignation might actually be genuine persistent frustration, so I am hesitant to vote there.

The bcornett case is interesting, though he was not someone on my radar at all before this most recent catch-up. I'm not uncomfortable with him being lynched, and I agree that his bubbles vote was very low-effort/oddly focused on bubbles. If I were to vote there, it would be mostly a following-on of people I trust, as I just don't feel very strongly one way or the other.

Glory index, j have no idea how to read. He posts as if he were a news, but people keep saying he's experienced? At the same time, his frustration/level of insult seems almost too over-the-top to be faked. I understand why he's getting votes, but I feel a bit icky about it, honestly.

K, so this post has been sitting on my phone for over an hour. Wrote it while on the bus to the hockey game, then got distracted by the atrocious hockey-playing of the Hurricanes and forgot to hit post. Doing so now, then will read whatever I missed in the interim. Apologies if anything I've said is irrelevant now.

Ah well shit. I was in the middle of getting my food from the cafeteria and I missed the deadline. Between Zeeb and BC, I feel better about the latter gettin' it. I'm actually pretty confused that Zeeb got so close to dying. Bubbles, Eloh, Roxy, Simon. It feels weird that she'd have to be saved at the last second when there's so little going on with that case.

How does the poison work? Is it always +2 or does it increase each day?
