You put yourself into a three way tie man, there was no guarantee that Boomslang was going to get lynched unless you have inside knowledge of something. Why would you be so comfortable in that situation? You say yourself you put yourself into a three way tie so you could see where he got his info from. You knew that you weren't going to die.
