I'm back early but see nothing much happened while I was gone. I don't have any interest in voting for the people who already have votes today - maybe I will make it a day to vote one of the no shows. Or maybe sprityo. I just can't make up my mind right now. Hopefully some people will want to discuss other candidates besides the ones voted for.

Sorry for my relative inactivity, all, it's been busy -- especially devoting my attention to getting Turf Wars ready to go.

I voted TheFloyd73 because he's inactive and I think to solve that problem we just need to lynch these guys.

It slipped through my mind that some thought he might be Freeze. TH, can you reiterate the point or reason he's thought to be Freeze? Or if you covered it in another post let me know and I'll looks at your iso. Or maybe all you can tell me is you saw a hint and you can't say more. I just don't remember what the reason was.

Yeah I must have lost my mind to forget that, it was a pretty big deal. Unless something comes up that's big or very persuasive I will probably be voting Floyd with MP.

I could definitely get behind a lynch of a no-show. For instance, TH's 532 posts account for just 8% of the entire game. What even is that?

I think he's bluffing, pulling every trick to avoid being lynched. He tried the emotional appeal with Dom, didn't work, now "ok whatever i dont need to be playing" and people bought it without much of an issue.

Plus, Epi confirmed that Freeze doesn't learn when he's won. (he did right?... he said that about Ra's, not 100% sure on Freeze but I asked)

I remember you asking but I don't think Epi answered. Fair enough. I'd prefer a Glorfindel or Floyd lynch myself.

He's been playing the newbie card hard this round. I could get behind that.

I'd also support a sprit lynch (having voted for him last round).

I don't have as much opinion about Floyd, but there have been good points made there. And I'd rather have people in the game who are playing.

If you REALLY believe that I would walk on my team (yes, even if they are somewhat deluded in their judgements) you are dead wrong my friend. While I may be dismayed at their performance, I'm not going to let my team down - for much the same reason that I wouldn't ever self-vote (unless for some reason such a course would benefit the Town and I have done that once...).

More to come...

So today, to clarify, I'd be okay lynching Floyd, Turnip Head, Bubbles, TH, Equivocate, Bass_The_Clever, Glorf, Turnip, Sprit, or generally anyone with a root vegetable replacing a vital body part.

Basically: A no show.

Glorf because I'm getting increasingly worse vibes from him where he seems like he's trying to discredit the case against himself by saying we all just wanna lynch noobs - which is categorically false and some of the most discussed people have been huge well-known, long time community members like Matt and MP. His tone comes off kinda Star Wars-y to me.

Sprit based on what I've seen of his interactions with Dom so far, I wasn't sold either way until he started coming off pretty bad in that conversation IMO.

TH because I've literally suspected him since day one.

Otherwise I'm open to hearing suggestions from others. Especially if those suggestions are to lynch TH.

TH, if you want to vote for me, please - be my guest. You've tunneled on me this game from almost the very beginning and even when your ability to post coherently was impeded, you still managed to voice your displeasure every time anyone even remotely suggested that I looked 'good'. If you can convince enough people to follow you in lynching me it will at least achieve one thing for our team - it will give everyone pause to question your judgement and that in the end, can only be a good thing.

I'm not at all bothered by trimming the fat. I'm glad we are doing it. And I agree with TH that I think Epi specifically may have given Floyd a role that was probably irrelevant to specific team win chances. I thought that could be cop, but given there is a chance of becoming a third of a baddie team... I think TH is right that inmate is most likely.

As for me, at the end of the last Day phase I put before you my case on MetalMarsh89 and I revisited it last night. At the time that I conducted my analysis he had 190 posts this game at an average of 16.6 words per post. In fact, the post where he defended my accusation was his second longest for him for the entire game. Whilst I both admire and appreciate his sense of humour, most of his posts were just that - very little substance, next to no analysis - which I think makes Golden's comment about not being aware that he was even playing so telling. If you compare this performance to Pikmin Mafia where he was Mafia, you'll see that it is very similar. Compare that to 'A World Reborn' (where he was Town) and you'll find pretty much the opposite. Whilst not describing his posting as prolific, they were very different - lots of analysis, incisive questioning of other players... MM is clearly a very accomplished player and to me, it looks like he's coasting this game and doing a fine job of it.

I know I don't need to say this but I do like and respect the guy and it gives me no pleasure at all to vote for him but I'm as certain as I can be of anyone that something is up with him. Having said that, not one of you (with the possible exception of Golden) was even willing to give my proposition the time of day. If you (TH, MP, Golden, Mac, Bulls, etc.) are indeed Town, it appears to me that you have lost your objectivity and in that (more than just your judgement on me) you are letting our team down.

On the contrary. It would be an incredibly incredibly valuable thing imo.

Oh, who to vote for. So many options, so few votes.
We're on pace for the ol' 17-player tie.
Which 7 people do you not want to see involved in the tie? I hope none of them is TH.
I don't want to see any player involved in any tie.

I think TH has a decent case against Floyd, but I don't think we should put all our eggs in one inactive basket. Landslide lynches don't tell us anything about the voters really.

Do it glorfindel! I think its very valuable.

Also, I think your case on MM, despite being a little overlooked, is very strong. I agree with others about why it gets overlooked. You manage to make the case in about three sentences and a lot of other people (like me) are loud and obnoxious and make the same case 15million times so that we are heard. I don't tihnk it is because you are new. But I think others would do well to pick up on it and look into it.

I can only handle looking in to so many people at a time. For now its SVS. But I wouldn't complain about a lynch of MM any more than a lynch of floyd.

Also, Matt is one of the few people I know who can have a whole lot of what is going on laid out on a silver platter in front of him and still want to conspiracy theory away about why it is all wrong.

It's best to offer your reads in the moment, because then you don't have time to think about them. The point isn't to offer validations for the reads, but to instinctively state them.

I'm sure you know this, but I'm just putting it out there anyway.

Since TheFloyd's name begins with TH, I will consider his lynch to be acceptable.

just wanted to ask, but arent roles randomized? or do you think epi did it to where he knew, or coincidentally had floyd as an independent?

I think TH, villain that he is, is saying Epi tweaked the roles post-randomization. He probably knows this for a fact as Floyd's teammate.

SVS iso

Town leaning

Beseeching everyone to act with open minds. Seems dedicated to not having a repeat of GoC.
Timing of Nerolunar vote (at least to not be on that team. I feel like she is not)

Baddie leaning

SVS approach to glorfindel easrly felt very shifty to me, like she was trying to trap him and get him lynched without having to look like the one who was really suspecting him. Dom asked if she was implying she thought he had btsc, and SVS said dom was reading into it. When I said it felt like she was baiting him into a trap, she said she was. The sum total was that I came out not trusting SVS case against glorfindel at all.

Mac vote on day 5. The timing of her vote could be a sabie save. The reasons for suspecting Mac themselves are ok, I guess. I don't detect any particular reason to feel SVS was entirely dishonest.

I found no opinion at all about scotty targetting lovedellic, or lovedellic at all, and here are her first two mentions of sabie:
S~V~S wrote:I am planning to reread Sabie, and to listen to what the commish clearly said, and perhaps look into someone I trusts suspicions.
S~V~S wrote:Actually, I think I am going to go with Mac, too. I have not seen the crumb, adn don't love how he handled the whole crumb issue. I am certainly not going to vote for DH, and I have thought Mac to be bad longer than I have Sabie (and the case looks good there, too).
Sabie not mentioned until day 5, despite her being around for several days, and then she acts like she has suspected sabie for a while.

Could go either way

SVS venting in the thread has been a pretty consistent theme this game. I think it is one of the things I have been seeing as bad (for example, she has taken a couple of jabs at me based on reading my tone wrong). She seems to be quite emotive this game. Typhoony says if she has btsc she would do the bulk of the venting in btsc. Perhaps that points to this thing which I read as bad actually being a sign of her being good. Reading back on her I realised that I, personally, feel as though it is designed to put people down and get others to put eyes on those people without having to express suspicion. It's probably one of the most suspicious things I feel I've seen in SVS game. So, I guess it depends here on whether my view is right or Typhs view is right. I feel like I've seen SVS generally be more emotive when bad. Others say when town. So I'm putting this in could go either way, even though for me I feel like it's a baddie tell. I think SVS has been more crotchety in this game than I am used to for her. Perhaps it is the flu.

Missing voting on the poll on day one. Can't see this as affiliation leaning.

Self vote.

Conclusion

Yeah, this does still lead me to believe SVS is sabie's teammate. I feel like her ignoring sabie entirely until basically she had to say something, and then saying 'she has suspected Mac longer than she has suspected sabie', as though there is any reference to her suspecting sabie at all? Th said something about 'people would be looking at you if you voted sprit' and maybe he is right but at least there are times in the thread where I'm saying 'I don't understand the suspicion on sabie'.

I can see I was probably too late on this to influence because most people are jumping on the floyd wagon with hours to go. Thats ok, but I really think people should be having a good look at SVS. I really do believe she is sabie's teammate. Read her iso for yourselves.
