Yeah it's mostly coming down to nero or chaindeath for me, and I've been unable to decide for days now. I'm still willing to consider Soneji but at this point he looks the best and I've not heard an argument against that yet.

In case I am taken out of the picture, I think the most likely cop combination is chaindeath and Elohcin. I recommend trying to kill the police chief first. If there's another prison break and I'm not in it, you're safe with 920077. But get the prisoners on your side, if they are erratic they can ruin you.

I don't know what the warden duties will be, but I'm hoping there's a "release all prisoners" button I can press. Only Epi and possibly the undercover cop are in there, and Epi should be easy to identify based on the timing of his arrival.

For the moment it's 5 vs 2, or 4 vs 2 vs 1 depending on how you want to treat the Prisoner. This is the biggest advantage we've had pretty much all game, but we're not out of the woods yet. 2 of the players remaining are still bad. I think we can safely dismiss the Prisoner and Turnip Head, and I can't speak for everyone else but I don't think I'm a cop either. So that leaves us 2 cops among the 4 of chaindeath, Elohcin, Nerolunar, and Soneji. 2 out of those 4 are bad. Which 2?
I think Elohcin and Chaindeath are cops.
So do I, but I'm having trouble being convinced that you're not a cop. So I'll ask this: What would you say has been your strategy in this game, and how have you used this to the benefit the town?
I have mostly just went with the flow, writing when appropiate or when I have had thoughts on my mind. Trying to read people and deduce who the cops might be. I have not thought about an actual plan that I have actively been following. I have just been playing mafia and followed the thread and events as they happened, one step at a time.

Regardless, I think Nero should be lynched on grounds that he's my partner, your partner, Enrique's partner, the Joker, the Riddler, the Gingerbread Man, and Toto.

Chaindeath is fine with Sloonei being warden. Soneji and Elo are likely the cops that are remaining. And to preemptively stop the OMG he changed his mind on Nero. It happens. In light of Epi's flip as a cop and some of the conversation leading up to and in the time between days chaindeath has an idea. Epi kept pushing for the two of us to be lynched and if Nero was his teammate that probably wouldn't be a smart thing to do. What would happen if the town rallied to chaindeath's side and we ended up lynching him and loosing the game from it. He'll be keeping an eye on Nero but for the moment he seems like he could be town.

Well this is an interesting development. Nero, what are your thoughts on chaindeath's turn around on you? chaindeath, why do you not think Epi could have been bussing Nero?

Prisoner, no. Sloonei, At this point in the game chaindeath doesn't think it would be smart to bus ones teammate like that, go for targets who are already suspect not for your teammates. However, Epi was playing mind games all game so it could be that also.

Night 11

Nero sat in his living room, dressed to go out. Yet he just sat, staring at the television, which wasn't even turned on. He was waiting for the inevitable. It had been a long time coming, and he had fought hard for quite some time, but now he didn't have it left in him. The front door opened with a squeak, but he didn't even turn to see who entered. He knew who was coming. It was his turn to go to prison and he didn't have the will to argue anymore. They had broken his spirit. Poor Nero.

Meanwhile, with the Warden missing, the prisoners took advantage of the chaos to stage yet another prison break!

Nerolunar has been arrested by the Police. He was ?????.

All of the prisoners have escaped Syndicate Penitentiary!!!

It is now Day 12.

You have 48 hours to find a policeman. Good luck, goons!

Please take utmost note of the following post, which details the prisoner rules given we have another prison break on our hands:
MovingPictures07 wrote:Seems we have a prisoner influx on our hands. :mafia:

Please note these rules for prisoners:

Prisoner Rules
Please take utmost note of these rules regarding prisoner activity in the main game subforum. Violations will be swiftly and severely punished.

1) No role outing of yourself or anyone else. If you had a past life in the main game, don't talk about it or hint at it in any regard. At all. Unless you want to die and get your faction punished.
2) No identity outing of yourself or anyone else (i.e., MovingPictures07).
3) If you had BTSC in the main game or with your cellmate in prison, don't resume it. If you're a prisoner, you have no BTSC.
4) You may, however, alignment claim truthfully or falsely, although it is not necessarily recommended.
5) You may also discuss any events or discussions which transpired in the Prison Yard threads.
6) No discussing cell-related events or discussions.

If you have questions not answered by these rules, or if you have questions about the rules, let us hosts know. Have fun with your new playmates. :feb:

Actually Nerolunar being arrested instead of Soneji is a bit of a head scratcher. Perhaps there's a very obvious reason for it, or perhaps that's what they wanted us to think. Or perhaps the chief is Elohcin and not paying coose attention.

Hello game players. Are there cases that have been made for the two people you are deciding on to lynch (Elochin or chaindeath)? Is everyone pretty much committed to one of those two people? I know I will have some additional questions in the morning. I will read the iso's of Elochin and chaindeath first. And hello 509.

Also, I have recently had a death in the family and the funeral and all is on Saturday. My schedule is going to be whack that day and maybe tomorrow as well. I just wanted to let you know in advance.

Add soneji to the list of suspects as well. He's been a town read of mine for a couple of days now, but seeing as Nero was arrested instead of him last night I have to reconsider (Nero was not a strong town read for anyone).

A lot of it is simple process of elimination. We know the prisoner is not a cop, and Turnip Head and I are both agreed-upon townies for Reasons, or so I am told.
For Elohcin, the strongest piece of evidence I can point to is that Epignosis seemed to setup a scenario when Elo first subbed into the game (replacing Serge) where he could very easily have framed her for a lynch, or protected her from suspicion. He ultimately protected her, and now that he has flipped as the Warden during a crucial lylo, all of his actions are understandably being scrutinized under a series of microscopes.

With chaindeath, it's more that he hasn't done anything townish. His sudden shift in opinion at the end of this last night phase was jarring as well. Plus other things. I'll have a more articulate answer to these questions later.

I understand you need someone killed. Is it Bart Simpson? No. Of course not. I need to determine who I trust. Give me a moment.

REMINDER TO ALL PLAYERS: Presumably 2 of these Prisoners are cops. Epignosis should be among them, and we also should be wary of whoever the undercover cop was as well.

Putting my vote on Elohcin to start the day. 2 out of the 3 of Elo, chaindeath, and Soneji are the remaining cops.

I'm going to be out for most of this real-time day. I can recommend one analytic method: ask yourself why each of the three candidates would arrest Nero and start digging.

One theory that I have is that arrested Nero frames Soneji, and that would probably be the best chance that either Elo or chaindeath would have of surviving Day 13. I think if Soneji was bad he would have just arrested you. But I definitely intend to do my homework before jumping to any conclusions. It's not gonna happen until I've had a good night's sleep though.

Sorry for being unhelpful out of the gate, prisoners. Most of what you need to know has been summed up over the last couple of day phases, so you probably only need to read as far back as Day 10, and even then you can just skim for some of the main points. I'll compile some lengthy posts tomorrow, pinkie swear.

I'll help the prisoners understand why they don't need to worry about Sloonei and Turnip Head in ways that those two cannot.

We know for sure that both dons are still alive. They cannot be arrested, and no lynches have resulted in a don flip.

Sloonei mechanically must be a don. agleaminranks the traitor was triggered to switch sides after Day 1. This means his don voted for him on Day 1. The following people voted for agleam on Day 1:

S~V~S - can't be don, was arrested
Golden - can't be don, was arrested
DDL - can't be don, was lynched and flipped Sockface
Epignosis - can't be don, was lynched and flipped Warden
Sloonei - alive and the don

Turnip Head is 98% likely to be the other don. An attempt to lynch him already failed, and a clear consigliere candidate is visible in thellama73.

I cannot be a cop because only one had been arrested when I was paroled (RadicalFuzz), and he was already modkilled.

This is why our focus is completely on chaindeath, Elohcin/Serge, and Soneji.

I have a little time before I am absorbed into mass transit, so I'll do some work. Why might each of the suspects have killed Nero? I'll theorize:

chaindeath

Throughout the game he has been stating a cop read on Nero (and Nero very often stated a cop read on chaindeath). On Night 11 however, chaindeath changed his mind:
chaindeath wrote:Chaindeath is fine with Sloonei being warden.
Prior to this moment, Nero only had two significant enemies left in this thread -- chaindeath himself and me. Soneji and Sloonei have been more positive in their reads on Nero lately. So with chaindeath changing his mind like this, Nero's chance of being lynched immediately dropped by quite a bit. I can't lynch him by myself after all (and it's a good thing he was removed or I might have tried. :p). This might be an example of chaindeath projecting his own kill inadvertently by justifying it with a newly developed town read. With that read in the thread, suddenly a highly questionable arrest choice makes at least a little more sense.

Moreover, I think the Nero kill was strategically dubious -- he was a legitimate candidate to be a cop and he didn't have to be arrested. I fully expected to be arrested myself, because I'm never getting lynched on Day 12 and my vote can contribute to the lynch of an actual cop. chaindeath is the newest player remaining in this field, and this might have simply been a newbie mistake. I mean no offense chaindeath, we've all had moments like that.

Elohcin

Epignosis frequently asserted that Eloh just isn't reading this thread at all. He might have been with the cops, but I still believe him on that point. I don't think she is paying attention to this game beyond the necessity to meet voting requirements. That might be enough to explain a dubious arrest choice like Nerolunar.

Soneji

If he's a cop, he has to arrest someone -- and among the standard townies he has no options except for people that could be lynched (anyone not including Sloonei or Turnip Head). The only question to be asked for Soneji would be: "Why wouldn't he arrest Prisoner 509378 instead of Nerolunar???" If there's any reason to be stated, it'd be the cop win condition -- all members of the crime families must be eliminated. If Soneji has reason to doubt that I count among them, then removing me is not necessary to meeting that win condition regardless of my strategic position in the game currently.
