I wanted to randomise again since it's Day 1 and there are no specific leads yet, but how can I resist when Snowy's on the list in all his glory? :p

Really? :p is this the same Vomps that posted that insanely long coin flipping post in Bioshock? I don't believe it sir! :llama:

I am equally struggling swinging back and forth between Gleam/lizzy. I appreciated gleam's insight, but also dont think it's enough to go on yet. Lizzy, I always enjoy, but is literally asking for votes. It's very confusing. :ponder:

Linki- well thats doesnt make me feel better about you Lizzy! :fishslap:

I kinda feel like Gleam may have been trying to start what would seem like an easy bandwagon on Vomp by calling attention to what is a fairly common behaviour for him and making it seem odd (when Vomp seemingly always acts the same way). It's not a huge thing but it's all I've really got so I'll be *Voting Gleam*

If anyone starts analyzing/overanalyzing votes in the future, Bullz's statement about is why I voted Gleam, but said in a much more articulate manner.

Nevinera wrote:Bah. I forgot it's a speed game again.

I have plans for the afternoon and evening, so I'm going to toss my vote out now after all.
I agree that voting early smells a bit, and I think that baddies are more likely to have read the bad roles thoroughly
(though that's hardly a solid logical leap), so I'm going to vote for gleam now.
So why gleam and not MP who voted first?

This post raises my brow a bit. It makes me want to vote for you, or maybe even MP.

Wow, I love this so much! It almost males me not want to vote for lizzy.

Linki- as to the arly voting it was pointed out that MP gave a reason, while at the time gleam did not. Also, MP voted regularly before work in the shining that doesnt ping me on him.

Okay, okay! :D I give up on the water thing. Haha! Seriously, though...I was nine years old when Super Mario 3 came out. I watched my brother play more than I actually played myself. Watching water world was a lot of fun. All I remember about it was the swimming part and pushing 'up' a million times so you didn't drown.
agleaminranks wrote:I vote we go to the desert world next. Would be the next area we would play chronologically in Mario Bros 3.
I actually think this sounds very logical. It may work in our (civie) favor to go in order. Then again, seeing as this was gleam's idea and I am kind-of suspicious of gleam right now, maybe it will work in favor of the badies if we go in the order of Super Mario 3. I think I know Epi pretty well and I know his take on organization. I think we ought not go in order.
Maybe we are grasping at straws (as someone else said), but gleam did seem awful knowledgeable and confident about the baddie roles. Then, he did vote really early without an explanation (unless I missed it in my read-through).

Because I have nothing else to go on, I will vote for gleam. Also, I will vote we go to Giant World next. I think I remember that one being fun to watch :)
Banners are cool, but a pain to scroll through so...
I've won a lot of games. I've hosted some games. The end.

Okay, so it seems to me that a bandwagon just started rolling and to me, it looks like Nevinera got it rolling. I really don't see what was wrong with gleam using the term "elaborate ruse" regarding Vomp and Lizzy's obvious friendly banter.

Therefore, since this is a speed game, I am going with a gut vote on Nevinera for opportunistic bandwagon vote.

Haha really? So much for my counting skills! Looking at the poll again I think I went based on the numbers next to names, not noticing the host/dead/non option. I actually thought there were 15 and not 16 players though for some reason. Now I wish I'd voted Ice because it's the only one with 0 votes. That was what I'd have done if I could count.

Night 1: Grass Land

Image

A message from Larry Koopa:

“Welcome to Grass Land! Just in time! Golly, you sure have a lot of work to do, and we’re glad you showed up! Heh, heh! We’re trying to clear some land for... pastures and fields…yeah! But these blocks seem like they’re everywhere! Help us break them up, and you are welcome to keep whatever’s inside of them!”

Choose three blocks to break open by PMing the Host the coordinates (eg., “B7, G5, and H1”)- keep the contents of those boxes!*

*Since bad guys can’t use items, blocks containing items count as duds for them! Sorry!

A note for clarity:

Coins won during Night events can be used the next Day by good guys buying items, and the next Night by bad guys buying roles.

And you will receive the results of the mini-game at the end of the Night.

I'm reminded again of why I was hesitant to re-join this site after pianomafia. I don't know why you all have it in for me, but this group of players, without fail, has never let me live past the first day. Every fucking time.

You can all sit and spin.

I didn't vote for you. I even agreed with and appreciate the effort you made this game.

Can't dead players buy back their lives? You might want to consider that in light of your flaming send-off to us.

I agree with Snowie. I thought it was nice to see you participating and I hope you won't entirely give up on us. RIP

So I suppose now there's no point in going to Desert Land, right? We should probably save that for last (besides Water Land of course).

Vomps, you were right about Roxy randomizing. Darn it! We were so close, too.

Yay, our first Mini-Game! As a really big Mario Party fan, I'm all about these.

So sorry Gleam. I understand how you feel. Don't let it discourage you. Play some mini games and try to come back :)
Banners are cool, but a pain to scroll through so...
I've won a lot of games. I've hosted some games. The end.

Well, to the people who supported me, thank ye. I shall try to abhor from speaking out with such hostility and replete generalization next time. Perhaps I am just a turely unlucky fellow.

I'll be waiting in the respawn room with a nail-studded baseball bat for the first baddie to take a Bob-omb to the face.

:rip: Gleam! Do not be discouraged! We shall prevail!

Thank you Mongoosey. I had forgotten this as well. Not quite sure how that works, but will be excited to see. Playing the games is a great way to start. Now which squares do I want...

Also, Bullz. It was 15, so you were not remembering wrong, but then Epi added one more right before we started.

Well, this is a crappy result. Don't feel bad, Gleam. Plot your revenge, it's more fun :)

I am looking forward to hearing Nevins reasoning for voting for the SECOND voter for his early vote. Very much so.
