Was going to give up Mafia for a while after The Great Betrayal or The Night of the Long Knives. In fact I haven't felt like playing and wasn't going to sign up. Something made me do it. I hope it was the right thing to do.

Don't worry, those things happen, I wouldn't let them get you down. Like I've said previously, every single game is a complete reset, and you're a blast to play with (and to watch from a hosting perspective), so I'm glad you decided to.

It's been weird not playing actually. I was killed in both games at the same time and it sucked. :)

Yeah, that does suck, I hate when that happens. :WTF:

It seems as though things like that -- getting killed off in two games at once, or as soon as you're really into a game, or when you have a strange feeling you're going to be killed -- happen more often than you'd think they would.

Then of course there's the birthday curse where for some reason players seem to die on their birthdays.

Another outstanding PA member we need to get who hasn't shown his face here after playing a really fantastic newbie game is SaltyJon. He was one of the best naturals I've ever seen. That and it's Jon, so he's always awesome to have around.
That guy was amazing. When are you going to get him to play again socky? :p

I've tried several times, but to no avail. He is keeping really busy due to being in the Air Force and just isn't at a computer enough anymore. Maybe someday!

I am happy to sign up as a replacement! I am hesitant to sign up as a player since we're getting ready to start Mafia of the Absurd, but I can replace in whenever you need it. :noble:

If you get stuck in your sign ups, I'll upgrade to player too. :)

No earlier than the first. My sister (Captain Bunny Killer) is in town and I want to give my days off to spending time with her before I start the game. Plus it gives me time to get the last player and make sure everything is ready to go. And yay, would love to have you play Kate! :)

If you do get started on/around the first, I may not check in for a while as I'm going away for a few days to celebrate the second anniversary of my best friend's 21st birthday, so if I'm a no-show that'll be why!

I am tempted to play, but I have so many projects that I am working on and limited time...

So, put me down for replacement for now. If you are desperate for the last player, let me know.

you seem to be very new to the game. I'd love a little history about why daisy thought you would like our shenanagans. In the future you want very much to pay attention to polls and stuffs... if you need a hand, well - I'm usually known for helping new players. But that said, I'm still completely open to what you have to say as you are new player in our world. :) And outside objective is ALWAYS interesting.

you are so not a moron. I can't even. with the Kate. and the KAate.

That said, if I can help BDH I will.

He/she feels all noob and I do adore new players...
Haha...I said something silly then realized my error and edited it to say I'm a moron...lol!
ZOMG! You can't edit posts in a mafia forum! Rule breaker!

I would think that our shenanigans are awesome. I just also admit that new peeps might not feel the same as I do...

Basically daisy put out some feelers and led me to believe I'd fit right in here playing this game of hers so I said "why the hell not?"....

...then after dismissing all the perfectly sane and logical reasons as to why not, I said I'd do it anyway. If I've lived through HER shennanigans, how bad can some of her other friends be, right?...RIGHT????

*chirp, chirp* :WTF: I beggining to question what I've signed myself up for... :solitary:

Hey BigDamnHero, prepare to get addicted.

I haven't played Mafia for months and I was okay with it. Happened to see Kate and SVS needed one more for their game on REV, so I signed up. And now I can't get enough! I'm signed up for three games currently, none of which have started, and I'm dying over here!

Start already Daisy! Please, for the love of God, before the withdrawal kills me!!!

You can wait until Super Mario ends, Daisy. I have that and another game in full swing, plus my own game I'm semi-working on. Take your time. ;)

Sometimes it will naturally come out, but it can be contained if we just remember that this is a game on a message board forum that 99.99% of the population of the Earth has never heard of before. No matter how successful anyone is, it means just about nothing.

Ok, but I don't think my 12-step sponsor would approve. I just got him to sign-off on my chocoholism and binge Netflixing. This one may be harder to explain...
