I have energy, but with a large thirst penalty I don't want to take a chance on the challenge. I was otherwise well set up for it, I am sorry I have to miss it. But draining my resources without knowing when/if I will get better isn't a risk I want to take.

I can't do the challenge. The timing doesn't work for me to be around then, and it seems like too risky a challenge to not be definitely be able to be around for.

I gave to Quin and sawyer on the first day. I gave 2 each to Epi and DF around the time Epi was sick. Someone said later that sawyer had stolen food from me around that time so I'm not sure if one or both of them got it. I've also given to opt and Golden and offered fish to others in bts when I've had it.

No, I am sick right now; read the night post. We got rid of ONE threat of being sick. But the sickness we had in our camp came BEFORE INH was there. There are lots of ways to get sick in the tropics.

LoRab and I discussed this yesterday, and her take on Atamai getting sick without a poisoner was, "Oh I am sure that was a one time event triggered by the poll" or words to that effect.

No it's in the night post. I got sick in the night post just this morning.

But not speedchuck, Sorsha and SVS! The former went swimming, because why not! The latter decided to get some time to themselves exploring around camp.
It's a shame one of them came back sick.

If someone else is sick, they have not said. I am just concerned since we apparently still can get sick. Killing off the doctor was a mistake. He was no danger to anyone, and the only benefit to his death was a second food source. We can fish for ourselves, but I don't believe we can cure ourselves.

It is my feeling that LoRab wants to control access to food via her alliance to you. She knows you will not turn on her becasue that is not really part of your character. In addition to maneuvering it so that you got your food production power by the elimination of Faraday, she came out of the gate after the night post swinging at Sorsha, the other source of food besides fishing ourselves. Without a doctor, and in control of the other food source, she would sort of have us all by the shorts.

Perhaps she even did think we could not get sick, but she was wrong and now we are all in potential danger.

I did think Lorab's accusation of Sorsha was a bit harsh. I seem to remember her being harsh toward (I think it was) boomslang at the very beginning of the game. I don;t think she means it to come off that way even though it does.

I understand what you mean by her being in control of the food. And you are right that I won't turn against those who have been good to me until I have to. However, this is still a game. If someone I trust turns against me, I will not be helpful to them in return. As of right now, I don't think she meant to be harsh or control food by asking for me to help her out. But I appreciate your perspective, SVS, and will keep it in mind.

My impression was that df asked to be voted out. I don't think it's fair to accuse lorab of voting out the doctor to get a private food source, although elo had been open with me about the fact df was her enemy and she could feed people without df around.

That is not what I was told. But OK. She wanted to vote for him before he volunteered, she saids something in BTS that I would prefer not to repeat. But it was before he volunteered. She was going to try to lynch him whether he volunteered or not.

That was not how it was presented to me. It was presented to me as "three of us". Someone could have told me or, even better, Faraday that. It might have helped him not throw in the towel.

I can easily see how the 'in case he had an idol' thing got lost in translation though. The point wasn't that he would play it and df went home. The point was to make sure he didn't play it.

Well someone should have told Faraday this, more so than me. He would not have volunteered otherwise.

And I still think LoRab is pulling a power play by trying to get rid of Sorsha right out of the gate, the other food source. She clearly wanted to lynch him yesterday BEFORE he volunteered, that is also part of my issue. I was arguing it with her, and he volunteered. This has put us all in danger.

She will have my vote. I can't imagine voting for anyone else.

No--I just wanted to put myself on the list of people who are hungry. Anyone else can ask Elo, as well. That's how Elo had used her role in the past, so I made the assumption that's how it would work again.

Thank you for letting me know. I never got the chance to BTSC with you, so I never go the chance. I wasn't sure if anyone else had. Or if your role was working.

I'll also say that if people were asking for food in BTSC, then asking for food in the thread isn't any different.

People on both tribes got food poisoning, triggered by the poll, in which people voted about bad things that could happen on the island. Everyone, at least on our beach, assumed it was from the poll. Was it a different assumption on your beach?

And those PM's specified "food poisoning." My PM when INH poisoned me said "poisoned." So, our sickness was from the same source as your beach. Several people (more than half of our tribe) got sick, all in one night. It had nothing to do with INH.

I didn't realize people could still get sick. It was a risk. I hope that the sickness doesn't last long. And he asked to be voted off. And I also thought that he was dangerous as a player--and that he was specifically dangerous to me. So there was also a self protective element, I admit.

I'm sorry you are sick now. I will do what I can to help you, if there is anything I can do. As I have told you, I am on your side. I obviously can't bring someone back. But I will keep the first going so you can get water. Or if you need to rest, I'll gather water so everyone can drink. Let me know what you need.

Indeed--I was asking for food because I was hungry, and having roles that can feed us allow us to also be able to do other thiings to be productive in the camp.

It might have been me you're referring to- I personally didn't know at the time who would be voting DF on the INH night. I think what really put a damper on DF and on the game was the negative questions in the last challenge. No ones fault, we didn't have control over that

I received tribal votes too back when we were in two tribes but I know that that's just how it works sometimes. I really feel bad that people have been actually hurt by aspects of the game

I can understand how the three votes plus the challenge questions compounded.

I have worked well with what I feel has been complete two-way trust and honesty with everyone left in the game. It doesn't matter who I vote for, it's going to suck, and it could well feel like a betrayal. So, I just want to say up front, no matter who I vote (at any vote from now on) please understand, I would gladly and willingly go to the end of this game with any of you.

Having said that, I have no idea exactly who I'm going to vote at this point.

LoRab, why the hell would you think Faraday was dangerous? He just wanted to help people, similar to Eloh. He really liked being a healer. And we both know the truth of your ideas on who to lynch today. I would not have said a word if tonights BTS had not been suspended, but it has and someone had to start the festivities

And I am very miffed that I am sick. And we knew that the Kumbaya moments would not last forever. I am sick. That changed things for me. Your miscalculation about sickness put me in danger; it put everyone in danger. Anyone of us can get sick and I think that that is your fault. Unless someone else came up with that theory about no more sickness? I would be willing to listen to that.

Before yesterday, the most valuable people to ALL of us were Sorsha and Faraday. First you wanted him dead (and got it) now you want HER dead. That is a threat to everyone. Ironically, eliminating Faraday raised elohs value to the whole group. You are my now really my only alternative for a vote. I will not vote for food providers, plus Sorsha has never voted for the person I view as my primary partner, nor has she threatened me in any way. There are people I pledged to before you, and tbh, people who pledged to me before you did. You would have been happy enough to see me gone had what happened with DH not happened. That's how the game is played, yes?

Had I not gotten sick, maybe it would have been different, although I don't see the circumstances that would have led me to vote for Sorsha. From your perspective, I am the worst possible person to have gotten sick, lol.
