For those who don't know the game lore (my previous summary was pretty accurate if you could parse out the jokes), MK uses lots of palette swaps ie characters who are identical except for color palettes.



The game mascots have always been blue ninja Sub Zero and yellow ninja Scorpion with most of the other ninjas being based on inside jokes.

Rain is the purple ninja and he is a prince. Prince. Purple Rain. Noob Saibot, the black ninja is backwards named after developers John Tobias and Ed Boon.

Anyway, Ermac the red ninja is literally an abbreviation for Error Macro, a debugging program. When hidden character Reptile (the green ninja)'s code was added to the actual game, they included the debug program by mistake, causing fans to think there were two hidden characters, Reptile and Ermac. False rumors and shooped photos claimed the finding of Ermac as a red ninja.

Eventually, MK added Ermac as an actual character in reference to the urban legend.

Wilgy is bad because he has contributed nothing at all. He was forced to post in only emojis as his curse yesterday. He was able to blow Pirates open in one day with this as a self imposed curse yet he seemed to use it as an excuse to not contribute yesterday. There's no hunting, no jokes just Dunsparcing.

Simon is bad because he's pointedly refusing to provide even one read. When asked who he would shoot, this is his response.

Dunya is bad for coming in and rescuing some combo of Wilgy, Tony or Bird. Maybe. Anyhow she pushed a Sig mislynch. Her attacks on Quin and Speed have fallen flat. She keeps asking for repeated Wilgy cases and seems to be distancing from him.


Lap is bad for not understanding anyone who was cursed and blending.


Jimmy is bad for not agreeing with me in all things and because somebody on that ugly Mac lynch must be bad and he's least trusted by me at this point.


That's my new 5 person mafia of choice. I suspect Eloh, Nova, Rabbit, Dave, Made in roughly that order for relative nonparticipation (not really Rabbit's fault) and badness of their limited posts. There's a fair chance one or two are mafia instead of Jimmy and maybe Lap, especially if Wilgy is bad. If Wilgy is good, sub one of these for Dunya.

Fairly certain Glor, Quin, Kyle, LC, Tony, Nutella are good in that order. Have gone back and forth on Speed but would currently place him as solid town.

Jimmy's actually a tinfoil. I'm scared of his scum game. I by all rights should trust him as town but I just can't. I don't know why I bother with alternate mafias based on a guy who can drink wine in circles around me. Probably tunneling on Eloh, too, but I like my case on her. Nobody else does.

Decided to place Made lower cause while his initial play in was super aggressive and that gained him some cred, he's pacified, never explained his much questioned reads, voted for Mac and gave up his chance to lead the town on Day 2 with his basically nonexistent post restriction.

Where Tony comes down as town for me is his Glor vote. Glor was not going to get lynched. Tony was not in a position to defend himself.

Why invite what was nearly his own lynch? To what end does scummy Tony do what he did yesterday? As a townie unfamiliar with Glor, I can see him honestly pursuing a case on Glor that's similar to my case on you.

we have no protective roles, at least among the visible powers. technically speaking there could be a role with a bp vest or something but epi has stated his dislike for that mechanic. Idk I guess it's a possibility. Not the point.

Town has 3 visible ways to stop a kill. Or maybe 4 technically?

1. Subzero blocks the killer
2. Sheeva blocks the killer
3. Li Mei swaps goro's target with someone who was going to target the killer with something else
4. Li Mei swaps the mileena's target with someone else's target who was targetting player who would have been the victim
5. there are also some possibilities involving redirecting a Shang Tsung who is copying any of the above roles I guess
6. also maybe someone has a survival thing as a secret power?

The point is, most of those scenarios requires one of our roles to have targeted the killer with power disruption roles last night, which indicates to me that we're probably on the right track with one of our most recent suspicions. So that's where my focus will be today.
