1.) I still believe in the logic I presented in Fire Emblem. Outliers exist, and dunya is one of very few.

What are the reasons for voting Avito? I read his iso. He comes across as brusque, and hasn't posted anything on topic, aaaaand that's all I've got.

I don't really have any. Just that he's not a town read and had votes. I just remembered he specifically said he couldn't be around much at the beginning of the game though, didn't he? So for that fair warning it's kind of a waste of energy to push there.

Seriously though, I was leaning towards voting Penny now. I think he hasn't any other games here going on? He's newer here and I would expect more activety excitement? I have absolutely no impression of him in this game. And nobody has brought him up or brought attention to him before now. With this in mind the meta from Dragon was very helpful. Penny not being all over the thread is according to the meta to be expected. But it still leaves me with no read what so ever. And having someone who has a playstyle who's not very pro town and hard to clear, but effective as scum, doesn't sound great to me. Sue me.

I agree that lynching a Syndicate first-timer on Day 1 is lame. I don't have many Mafia ethics, but that's one of them -- I'll do it only if it's obvious.

doesn't feel like authentic Kylemii humor to me. It does feel like an attempt at authentic Kylemii humor, implying he is not in a state of immediate comfort and is trying to find that state.

I dislike this because it implies that "vanilla or strawberry" wasn't a good joke when it was clearly a very very good and funny joke.

I also dislike the implication that humor is something that I would need or even feel compelled to try and fake given my specific background in being very good at lying and also excellent at telling jokes

It isn't a conscious decision to be funny Kyle. It's a subconscious gravitation toward a state of comfort generally enjoyed by a Kyle who is not trying to kill everyone in cold blood.

yeah but that's really not a thing. humor and comfort aren't alignment indicative for me. in all cases I am either trying to hunt the badboys effectively or pretending to hunt them earnestly. Neither thing prevents jokes from happening.

i made an especially lame joke about ice cream and Quin's word choice cus I was especially giddy about receiving my role and this game starting, that's all there really is to it.

i don't have that yet. my gth read on you is civ though, based on the fact that mafia jay is more content to let a dead thread sleep, and you've done the opposite of that.

I believe it was Mac who observed that Kyle was easily forgiving of my poop [ice cream] fling. The assertion he makes here about my play is an accurate one I believe, but I am uneasy about seeing someone other than me actually saying it. Usually when I make claims like this, even if true, nobody listens to me. It all goes right through the ear canals from end-to-end, and I find myself saying them again at some later time.

I need to know what Kyle has observed from me which makes him comfortable in adopting this perspective that everyone else has always seemed so comfortable to ignore when I have stated it.

he said it as a defense as a civ 1 million years ago during, i think fiddler? or maybe the talking one. that doesn't gauranteed that it's an always-true statement, but I have noticed it to be consistent with his behavior as a human being
