what part of my tone gives you a town read? most of what you have access to has been my wizard roleplay, and i thought you took issue with my speedchuck vote?

I disagree really hard with speed's INH case but I'm not sure if it's fake.

I wonder if speed was suspecting him before or if he only decided to pay attention to him now, though.

Most of the gut reaction was that your 'CFD' seemed completely impossible to perform at the time you suggested it, and so I was looking for motive. The case practically builds itself if I look through a filter. :P

Mostly, I'm just spamming thoughts into the thread for... thought. If I thought I'd nabbed a scum, I'd vote for you.

Oh, and Nutella should have a decent handle on how I play scum. I don't believe that she really thinks I'm bad. This is either some kinda weird pressure thing or she's scummy.

Kay.

So, if I'm bad, what is my logic behind anything I've done this dayphase? Just saying that it doesn't hold town logic is bad. Where is the scum logic?
"Wanted to look productive."
Psh. I'm pretty good at blending when bad. Let me give you some meta context.

I just got out of two scum games and a town game. MK, LOTR, and Buffy.

Scum: I survived in MK until I alignment claimed, with only Mac and maybe Dunya voicing suspicion along the way. Nothing gained any traction. I survived in LOTR by making posts, giving effort, and laying low. Typical scum games for me. Clean, smart, calculated (except for the alignment claim. Don't ask.)

Town: I survived in Buffy as town because my D1 play was crappy and my BTSC partner wasted his role protecting me. Then I gambited in order not to be lynched, despite having a lynchproof I forgot about, got lynched anyway and survived. I then vigged two townies, wrote off the ENTIRE EFFING SCUMTEAM as town, and lost the game, despite having gut scumreads on some of the baddies in early game. It was a crapshoot, and I made some weird choices, especially in the early days.

Tell me, which one of these recent games more matches my behavior in this game?

If you think I'm good enough to calculate my horrendous town game and put on an act, then i thank you for the compliment. But I LIKE having little suspicion. I LIKE playing scum games and being the supahtown smart guy. I LIKE being on top of things. But I'm not a good enough hunter to do that as town.

You can hate self-calls to meta if you want, but the fact of the matter is: if I were scum, I'd have an inkling of an idea what I'm doing.
From GoC, in which I was the first mislynched townie to leave the game.

"I look good when scum, and look bad when town."

Tell me again how townies never say that, or use it as a defense. I have. Granted, at the time I had the meta to back it up, but I made the argument.
I'll look at the rest of your Luna case separately.

Regarding the rest of the Luna case:

I think it is based on her lack of hunting, and her excuses for her lack of hunting, yes? I could see that coming from town or scum Luna. Please summarize the case, if I have misunderstood it.

I've heard this saying before and I'm just repeating because it sounds cool. I'm not sure how much it's true, if at all.

Not sure if there's a prevailing theory for this, either. I've had an MBA class about people management recently that seemed to believe that people aren't necessarily fit ot nonfit to be leaders, they just become leaders depending on the necessity.

Ok guys so I'm going out for hours today which means I will absent for the EoD.

That said, I may check the game on my phone and change my vote depending on how the poll is, and I will probably do that without posting anything at the time, so don't be surprised when that happens. Thanks.

The disclaimer was an attempt to save skin. There is always a chance someone I think is scum will flip town. When that happens, I know the target shifts to whoever started the train, or was active in it. I really hope you guys realize that my intentions were pure, and we don't end up with another townie lynch today. Because if you lynch me I WILL flip town.

Do I seriously look like I care about my crew? I only hired 3, we failed our mission, and I have now fired you and found no one willing to be a replacement. I've pretty much given up on that aspect of the game right now.
Do you not mesh well with your crew? Or just complications with other stuff in your life making you feel a little bit stressed out right now?

The disclaimer was an attempt to save skin. There is always a chance someone I think is scum will flip town. When that happens, I know the target shifts to whoever started the train, or was active in it. I really hope you guys realize that my intentions were pure, and we don't end up with another townie lynch today. Because if you lynch me I WILL flip town.
So let's say for one instance I take these words at face value, who would you be willing to lynch whose name isn't DDL?

Sorry if I came across harshly, that was not my intent. My crew was great, I just don't feel like the best leader for them.

Sorry, I’ve had to phone it in this phase (figuratively and literally). I ended up being very busy, not at home for most of the weekend, as some stuff happened. I’m both exhausted and I have to get some work done, so my chances of catching up during the phase are zero. I’m going to start by saying I think there’s very little chance I’ll be voting for DDL, I engaged with him a lot on day zero and one and came away with a good view of him. But there’s a decent chance I won’t vote at all, which I hate but it’s just my reality in these couple of days. Apologies to host and players. I should have time to catch up during the night phase and hopefully hit the ground running on Th next day.

Based on day one, I’d prefer a TH or wilgy vote to what’s on the table. Just putting that on the record. I didn’t get much of a chance to engage with Luna yet, but if she’s bad I bet I’ll gets read on it soon enough. Perhaps more persuasive is speedchuck voting with her not against her. If there was a CFD I’d look in those two directions.

Me: Dang maybe I need to rethink this DDL suspicion, not a lot of pushback on it might mean mafia are content to let his head roll.

Lol. If DDL is bad I’d suggest this post could be a bus job to frame me. It’s bad.

If there’s new evidence today I haven’t read it. I already posted stuff on day one about why I don’t think he’s bad, this isn’t new. And I sure as hell aren’t suddenly turning up to defend a teammate away from death when I’m bad. That’s just a stupid thing to do. I’d bus away.

You just essentially said ‘I considered not voting DDL until golden posted’. That’s the biggest bullshit radar ping I’ve had all game. It’s like a deus ex machina, ‘oh lucky me, something swooped in and justified my story’.

In thinking it through, I still don’t think DDL is bad. I just think you’re looking for an excuse to be on a wagon you don’t believe in.

Wow Luna ejected DDL? I strongly dislike this.

Speed, I see you are voting DDL. Do you have any objection to me offering him a berth on our ship?

I don’t get it. DDL spent pretty much all of day one defending other people and talking people down. He’s had some extremely pro-town posts. Is there a case somewhere?
