Everyone's a possible recruit. Why speculate if you're not gonna attach reasons to it?

How so? He was less of a presence, but I'd attribute that more to availability than alignment.

Macdougall is not a player who's afraid of the spotlight when he's mafia.
More Sloonei defending Mac.
Sloonei and I are Mafia. You solved the game. But you'll never convince anyone of it. Because we are too good at Mafia.

He was the first name that came to my mind after I typed my long-winded spiel about how the mutants would have treated their recruit.

sabie had next to nothing to say about him early, though I do believe she plopped some arbitrary shade on him late in Day 2 when he was getting votes (and also voted for him, I think?), but at that time both of them were exposed to heavy scrutiny and the necessity to avoid bussing would not have applied.
Mac and Sloon both think Creature was recruited.

And there it is.

Between you and Creature, I feel like I've seen a bigger change with Creature's behavior. So I would be more inclined to think he is the potential recruit over you.
Creature would (I think) be an odd choice as a recruit although the Mafia team wouldn’t have had anything to go on in terms of his play when they had to make their choice. Still, I think it’s unlikely. And I agree with you, I think you’ve been anything but useless since you’ve returned to us. I thought you’ve been most constructive in your comments and observations.
BWT and Glor do not.

However here's what I see in it.

Player salad. Hitler tell (mild accuse > play your own devil's advocate > outcome null). Interesting tell (mafia say interesting when they don't want to provoke). Forcing reads just to make the post look more exhaustive. Hell you even felt the need to point out three no shows which looked like an attempt to turn what was a rambling salad into a full game read.

Note to civs: If Sabie flips scum her refusal to offer a read on TSP because she has no meta stands in contrast to the fact that she made a non meta analysis of Creature/Epignosis. Very strong chances of TSP mafia if sabie mafia.

Also what's with picking on Glorfindel who is never Mafia. He subs out when he rolls mafia. It is known.

Anyone want to tell me why we shouldn't lynch Sabie today?

Sabie if you are a civilian I will find you. Just keep pushing past me and finding Mafia. Hot tip, I am obviously a civilian here.
I forgot about this. TSP is Mafia. Lynch it.

Fucking stupid.

If Myers is supposed to be evil personified, he would have no problem killing a baby. If you don’t want him to kill a baby in your movie, don’t put him in the same house as a baby.

Felt like the scene was written to make the audience go “oh no” and then to make everyone breathe a sigh of relief with no regard to plot or characterization. Basically a jump scare only less prevalent.

Rest of the movie was good though.
Technically I don’t examine ot content on principle but this is where I decided that Jack was town.
Wtf why?

Glorfindel

sabie

Dragomir
sprityo
Colin
Creature

Sloonei, you’ve probably answered this, but given this as your rainbow list just before EOD yesterday what compelled you to vote for Sabie over Creature?

And what brings you to this conclusion given all of those facts?
He posts cute pictures of wolves and gives nice horror story opinions.

Wolf Jack wouldn’t be as carefree and wouldn’t be as willing to take up some of the cases he’s taken. And Wolf Jack definitely would’ve bussed Sabie d2 and wouldn’t have been voted by Sabie d1. Not to mention more overall meta arguments where the playstyle of Jack here fits in line more with that of Jack as town as far as attention to game goes. I don’t think circumstantial evidence gets around that.

Incidentally, I feel icky about your “Would Sabie do ‘x’” defence and of anyone here, the difference in your posting today (the day the Townie converts to Mafia) is more stark compared to your previous day’s posts.
This readlist is bleh but I still think Glor is town.

BWT more likely to be the master. Why would anyone in their right minds recruit someone who isn’t a top town name who hadn’t posted yet

Sabie was bussed 100%. I award you no credit for casing her D1 before you were recruited and no credit for lynching her D2 when she had more important stuff to do than play mafia.

BWT did not say that

Okay 8 players left. I’m town. Jack is almost always town. Sprit is almost always town.

Mac, Sloonei, and Creature could have been recruited.
Sloonei, BWT, Glorf could be the master.

If BWT is master then Sabie chooses by herself and I imagine the pick is Sloonei or Creature (or Jack) but I don’t know Sabie that well. Maybe in that case Sabie would recruit Glorf? Seems mean.
If Sloonei is master they probably recruit Mac or Creature
If Glorf is master they almost definitely recruit Sloonei as far as I can tell

Anyone disagree?

Mods don't kill low posters here very often. That Jay did it here is actually extremely unusual. The only other mods who are want to do it are me and Dragon D. Luffy. Recruiting Dragomir or Oreki wouldn't come with an inherent risk of mod kill imo. If I was making the decision I would heavily weigh up recruiting someone who doesn't have to do much in the way of changing up their play. I'd definitely not be recruiting anyone who heavily suspected us.

I think you aren't thinking deeply enough about this. I'm not sure anyone is really. The primary objective would be recruit that who is least likely to be recruited. Jack landing on Sloonei/Mac is pleb tier thought.

I don't understand how that is an answer to whether or not I believe my own point about how Sabie chose not to make a read on you.

Do I need to make an argument that I am town? I don't think so. Scum feel the need to evidence themselves as town more than townies do.

If I wanted to save Sabie I could have saved Sabie. All I would have had to do is give Sabie a scripted post and then say "oh yeah nah you're def town omg look at you" and nobody would have said shit.
