birdwithteeth11, blindfaeth, and DharmaHelper have all been killed. They have been summoned to The Red Room.

It is now Night 10. You have 24 hours to send in your night PMs.

linki - There are other ways to explain bea's reappearance other than just her role mechanic.

I don't necessarily doubt bea's civvieness yet just because she made an argument for BWT. He's notoriously hard to read. I feel like our dear host has mentioned that he has trouble reading Falcon WIth Teeth when they are players in a game together.

If we assume Bea is neither Beggars or Meat Boy, then the options start stretching into disbelief for me, tbh. Id like for Bea to talk about this.

"Screw you, Zodac!!!!" yelled Devin, as he was taken away.

Then, another miniature black hole re-appeared. birdwithteeth11 re-emerged!

Devin the Omniscient has been killed by Zodac and sent to The Red Room. He was Lucy.

birdwithteeth11 has left The Red Room and has been resurrected!

It is still Night 10.

As to Devin, it is because of S~V~S being incorrectly killed, and thus this was Zodac's "tie decision" a day late due to the tied lynch on Day 9.

There were two civ options and I am now certain she was neither. However, I can see what I think she might be hinting at now. Just don't know if I believe it yet.

It doesn't make sense for it to be BWT. Or Matt or BDH, since they were modkilled. I feel pretty confident that anyone who popped up as a baddie wasn't, because that wouldn't make sense. I think Llama was probably who he was labeled as, since he seemed rogue. I was reading SVS as Homestar Runner (and I think Lizzy mentioned that also?), so I don't think it's her either. But then we have a whole heap of NK'd players whose roles we don't know, and she could easily be one of those guys.

I had interpreted Bea's 'killing herself' as having run into a sawblade in one of the Fetus levels or something.
I definitely had been treating her as confirmed meatboy, so this throws me for a loop.

I can only see one role that could 'kill themselves', and I can't see a civ-ninja team wasting such a valuable resource on proving themselves civ.
(And I don't think MP would have portrayed that event as a kill and then rez).
I mean, we have several borrowing roles, and two that make random nightly powers, so I can't say much for sure.

Bea 'killed herself' - that means she must *have had a kill*, yes?
Could have bounced it off henderson, and gotten unlucky?
Or the villager could have borrowed her power and killed her with it.
There's lots of things that might grant rezzes, but how many grant 'kills'?
Not "burned", not "poisoned", but "killed".

Does anyone have another explanation?
I mean, obviously we can't assume that there isn't some other way she could have killed herself,
but this is really suspicious to me.
And BDH was pointing at her as an 'important role' for the civs - the only roles I can see in that category would be the civ-ninja team and Meat boy.
Now she doesn't appear to be claiming to be meat boy (which would be pretty tough, of course),
so I have no idea who she could be.

FYI I edited the most recent host post to include that Devin was killed by Zodac.

Now I likely won't be back again until late tomorrow night after class... we shall see. So if I miss any questions or if you guys have any for me, I'll get to them ASAP, but it might be 24 hours.

Mycroft Holmes, of course. On one hand, that's a really good role to pick if you are Martell and lynched because it's completely innocuous and unable to trace that you are lying (kinda). Unlike Thomas who has 3x vote, so it's easy to tell if you are that person or not in hindsight. Also, she wouldn't want to pick a civilian who could be taken over to the other side like Jack. So it's a real safe choice.

However, I do remember that when she was lynched, I thought it made sense for her role to pop up as "Mycroft" because I figured she had saved INH from purgatory that one time. I've thought she was civ all game, honestly. But I'd listen to strong arguments in opposition as well.

But why would it say she killed herself? If she or rowed something or a kill was redirected somehow would it not still say that X killed Bea?

MP can you clarify how this would be written?

Nev - Couldn't there be a switcharoo type role out there? That can change around players' targets? If so, that could have affected bea, causing her to kill herself. I also thought she might be a role that involved eating. OR: there's a role that redirects one player's action onto another. We figure, due to Dev's really great articulation btw, that there might be an unlisted role (best evidenced by the fact that there is +1 role in the Red Room. If so, maybe that person has a switcharoo or redirect power.

If she bounced a kill off henderson, it's still her doing the kill. Seems unlikely she'd randomly hit herself though.
I'd think the villager would get the kill credit if he stole her power.
I don't know, I'm stretching because I can't make anything fit here.
And I'd *really* like to have been right all along :-P

It does not make sense that it would say Bea killed herself. It should have said the role that killed her if that were the case.

You are correct here. If it was redirected, it still would have said Bea was killed by _____, even if that role was herself. Hope that helps.

Okay, hmm. Thanks for the clarification, host.

I have assumed for a long time that she eats something. What if she ate something that caused her to die? Then it would still read as she killed herself, right? (This is directed at players only, since it is speculation).

I wondered if Dev's role could be causing some of the chaos, but maybe not now based on Socky's clarification:

Wow just doing a quick skim. i was definitely pegging bea as Meat Boy so this throws me for a loop. Dnt have much time now, but will have to look at roles again. BB was def an option, but because of the hnts that it was a significant civ role that made me think of MB as well.

It bea rhink she was being subtle and a ton of us thought Meat Boy, then anyone else have A better idea based on the new info?

Daisy - I'd like to be more clear to both you and timmer, but since it's skirting around outing, I'm not sure how to do it.

I can say that my abilities seem to have been messed with in this game more than any other game I've ever played in my entire time of playing games. So much so to the point that I've got lots of huge fuzzy spots.

For anyone else looking for hints, look around any time something wonky's happened in regards to me. Goodness knows there's plenty of places to look. My more than one unfortunate freekouts, my insanity, my suicide....

I noticed that bea was off the poll twice since mr ibis had died, so I thought maybe she was actually bdh's btsc partner which would explain so much, and that she had borrowed mr ibis power. But, in fact she was off the poll the first time right after aces died which means he had picked her, and the srcond time because she actually was technically dead when the poll went up, so my idea is dead in the water.

Fwiw, I'd still think bea could be Percy, in that she could have borrowed neatboys power of resurrection, but it doesnt work; one, meat boy cant kill himself, and as weve seen with bwt, meat boy actually regenerates instantaneously, not well after like Bea did.
