What is "alignment equity"?
Like, teammate compatible for scum/mafia purposes.
Ok, so then I don't understand why I'm teammate compatible with Tony and Wilgy.
Yeah I didn't think Juliets had equity with Tony. I'd be surprised if they were w/w.
Are we just going to Lynch players with low equity with Juliets until we lose the game? That's seriously not a winning strategy.
???

Me voting you has nothing whatsoever to do with your Juliets equity.
That wasn't my implication but actually I'm curious why you think I have low equity with Juliets.
I ISOd both of you today. If I recall, you implicated Juliets several times for a lynch on N1 and D2, including times when she was in danger of actually being lynched.

It's not impossible, but I'd be surprised.

This is random, but can anyone who has played with juliets more recently than I can speak to her defending herself? Does anyone think that's AI in any way? To explain, I feel like she goes out of her way to defend herself against any semblance of suspicion more than the average player, and I can't help but try to read into it.

Part of the reason I ask is I'm in her ISO now and in combination with her recent clarification about Jack's joke, I'm seeing just how often this happens.

My impression is that Juliets dislikes being misunderstood and approaches suspicion on her as a misunderstanding, she tries to clear it up in her fairly wordy style.

But i wanted to know what nanook thought of that
Tony and Nanook might be mafia partners. +112, that might be the scum team right there.
Dang you got us. Where’s the resign button
I wasn't very serious about the LC/Nook thing, but actually this post pings me. I feel the 'haha guess you got me' thing is such a scum thing to say here.
"I wasn't serious"

"this post actually pings me"

Then uses a superlative in the next post, to make it sound like he's sure LC is bad.

Love this thought. Another townie point for LC.

Caveat: I'm full of shit.

[VOTE: Master Radishes] aubergine

It's okay to be unsure about someone's alignment, but go ahead and say you are unsure. This feel like playing both sides at once.
I'm TRing LC. He's my strongest TR in fact. I thought I had made that clear.

This feels like you picked someone who had a bit of shade previously (me) and nitpicked the language used to form a case.

I don't like it.

If you are sure LC is town say that. Don't add caveats. Don't theorize about him being w/w with someone then say you are "not very serious about it". The way you did it leaves it open for you to vote LC if other people do that later.
Ah yes, the brusque lemme-tell-you-how-to-play-properly tone. A favourite of mine too.

Let me make this as clear as I can for you - I think LC is town, but I am not locking it in because, fun fact, my D1 reads have been wrong before.
Can you reconcile this?

To explain, I feel like she goes out of her way to defend herself against any semblance of suspicion more than the average player, and I can't help but try to read into it.

Part of the reason I ask is I'm in her ISO now and in combination with her recent clarification about Jack's joke, I'm seeing just how often this happens.
I try to answer every accusation.

Sometimes it will naturally come out, but it can be contained if we just remember that this is a game on a message board forum that 99.99% of the population of the Earth has never heard of before. No matter how successful anyone is, it means just about nothing.

Hmmm... that is an interesting hypothesis, usually I've heard that referred to as the rule of three, like scum tends to put scummate in a pool like that and two other townies, but I'm not sure how often that's actually happened.
Happens every time I don’t think about it. Which is why I purposely mix in other ratios as a wolf.
I just list groups of town players. But in 2/3 of my scum games, when I die, my teammate has more or less resigned on the spot or been lynched the next day. Maybe all 3. I don't remember the one I got lynched like an hour into day 1.

Gut feeling based on his minimal stance. While i know Ive prolly missed alot, he's someone who feels under my radar who normally isn't.
I would frankly agree were it not for

a. his D1 stance and pursuance of MR
b. his excuse for playing minimally, trouble keeping up, etc.
Is it possible that a scum team might have thought DDL was going down at some point so they wanted MR to look better as a result of that, or vice versa? I think thread environment might be an important consideration there, not sure if you've spoken to that.

Linki: looking at that now, I'd say GTH that the first and third posts by DDL read pretty good, and the MR ones look decent as well. They could be distancing, but only like in the Mexal type situation -- to explain, in my Champs S5 qualifier, Mexal treated both of his scummates similarly, and then won in an F3.

Yes, Nanook voted for you, and he still is! :haha:
Extra ugly, due to non-call in the thread.
I want to townread LC for not noticing a vote on him.

Either that or he's wolf/wolf with Nook.
"I want to townread LC".

Then do it. Townread him. Or not.

You are being very uncharitable sir. I'll have you know my town games are nothing like this one either.

Caveat: I've read LC wrong every game I've played with him.

Master Radishes wrote: Mon Apr 20, 2020 2:21 pm

If you are sure LC is town say that. Don't add caveats. Don't theorize about him being w/w with someone then say you are "not very serious about it". The way you did it leaves it open for you to vote LC if other people do that later.
Ah yes, the brusque lemme-tell-you-how-to-play-properly tone. A favourite of mine too.

Let me make this as clear as I can for you - I think LC is town, but I am not locking it in because, fun fact, my D1 reads have been wrong before.
Can you reconcile this?
Interesting. Did ddl call mr scum for this or did the exchange die?

paranoia, I guess. I think whenever I'm in a POE my natural response is to start reaching for the mastermind behind all this instead of just reaching for the fifth most likely name or whatever.
I’ve been defending you tho, you haven’t really been in my POE. Like I’ve actively tried to keep you out of the POE.
I know. I'm thinking about that now. I don't think that behavior makes sense as scum with Juliets -- I was justifying it as a sort of TMI thing, but Juliets is a likely lynch candidate as well. You have enough town credit to take easier outs.

Good look for ddl then. Now I really don't know between the two.

Makes me wonder if we can get some consistency in tone from mr if we get another scumflip as this is shaking my hyena civ read.

Historically, does mr radish waffle when opposed or hold the line?
