1612 Lav flipped town, and I guess you're not surprised by that. If you're town here, I'm truly sorry that I didn't listen to you. And if you're town, I want to hear your opinion on how to move forward. We can't afford one single misyeet, so how can we manage that in your opinion?

This should say "joined Lav late".

And yeah we could be making it more difficult than it actually is. If we take our tinfoil hats off for a second, we can double down on our d1 towncore, which was Carot, Dizzy, myself and MP7. That'd leave Michelle, 1612, and speedchuck. Which doesn't seem so crazy to me.

If 1612 is scum, why not just take the Lav misyeet? Actually that works regardless of Michelle. To white knight and get town cred, I guess? I was just thinking his whole perspective could be TMI, including his scum read on Michelle. I guess the question is, why would he care so much if the result is being wrong on both accounts?

Maybe he did. I don't know 1612 and everyone who does is now dead so rip.

Alison Do you think it's possible that 1612 is scum and Michelle is town? It doesn't really jive with me tbh, but now I'm unsure if I can express why

My beautiful D1 town reads. Oof. If I leave them and lose the game, that will be the 100th time. Well, actually, I'm usually in the grave at this point and am free to bitch and moan about what everyone else is doing wrong.

This is garbo.

Picking up two of the easier targets left in the game and saying 'Yep, game is all but solved' when there isn't a single scumlynch to analyse for partner interactions is insane.

And yes, I know what I quoted there is not what you said. You can argue semantics. But this is a lazy pass at claiming a gamestate that isn't true. A gamestate that will cause complacency and guarantee that town loses.
Actually, I'm going to further elaborate on this. 1612, easily one of the worse players from my comparison, is not on this list. Why? Please tell me.
Cobbler-Cartenoid-whoever-else, a player that has now been replaced TWICE, is not on this list. (my experience finds that replacements are more often mafia, and yes I'm aware of the hypocrisy). Why is that?

Despite this suspect list consisting of nothing but complacent, 'I guess they're scum because no one else is' picks, we've had three straight days of banishments that went down the tubes. Why is that? Just bad luck?
Or, if I'm wrong, is there a specific reason to suspect me? (there might be one for Michelle, but I haven't read it yet)

I will read Michelle today.
For a reason to SR yoyr slot:
not for you but for Ted and is just because he promised to play and didn't. Though it's not a wolf read and i am waiting for you to make an oppinion.

About Lavender i was thinking he is openwolfing, my short Iso will tell you reasons. I know i was wrong...

Dyslexicon wrote: Mon Jul 20, 2020 9:32 am @Alison Let me see if I can gather my thoughts. Speed, Urist and MP wanted to yeet 1612 over Lavender. If 1612 is town this doesn't mean much. If 1612 is scum however, it's either a bus or scum team is 1612/Michelle/Cobbtedcarot, which is entirely possible. I think that if 1612 is scum, Michelle is scum too, cause why would he put so much energy into defending Lavender as town between the two? Doesn't make sense if they were both town and he is scum. It's either TMI or just an actual read. I'm trying to imagine a world where Michelle is town. Then that would make either Urist or MP, or even both scum. I don't believe in that. And it also would be shit luck to have Urist as godfather here. Michelle/1612/X is probably still the most likely world here to me. Does this track?
I think I've mentioned before that speed could have been putting a vote on 1612 without it being a bus. At the time the vote happened, it looked unlikely for 1612 to be an execute consideration and they didn't push it very hard.

I think the team is Michelle/speed/Urist.

I don't know when you were in the D1 towncore. You were nearly executed and the only person who expressed strong trust in you was I think nanook. I think you are the Godfather and I really dislike your pushes this phase.

I'll be around later.

speed, I appreciate your passion. This game has been difficult fmpov. I assure you and everyone else that I personally will be trying to consider every option but that I feel like I have a laundry list of reasons that Dizzy is town here (and if he's styling on me then lol, but I'll try to explain in great detail) and Urist is only the godfather is wolfing so...?

Michelle, I'll take a step back and re-evaluate. But I said you seem complacent, that has nothing to do with how often you're here but how you feel when you are here. I'm not expecting you to defend against it. Just show me that you're town.

The war between the Pride Landers and the Outlanders was raging and Scar was getting restless. His takeover of the Pride Lands was going beautifully, so many killed and others had run away. He was ready to take his rightful place as King now that Mufasa was out of the way. There were just a few loose ends to clean up before he could claim his domain. One of those loose ends he came upon as dawn broke - that wisecracking friend of Simba.

Poor Timon, he knew every meerkat was on his own and vulnerable in the big, cold world. He had to defend himself, defend the Pridelanders' honor. Take revenge for Pumbaa! But when the hyenas closed in on him, he knew it was over. There was no point in shouting out of rage in hopes someone would hear him. The Lion Guard had left Pride Rock to Timon's guard, certain that the Outlanders wouldn't dare enter that night so they hid in the lands to guard the animals below. The hyenas stopped and backed away, making room for a silhouette much larger. It was Scar. Timon's legs began to shake, but he picked himself up.

His last thought, as Scar looked into his eyes declaring himself King, was how he had failed Simba. Only a miracle could save them now.

Alison was outnumbered.
Spoiler: show
Timon - Vanilla Pride Lander

It is now Day 4. You have 24 hours to banish an Outlander from Pride Lands or the Outlanders will rule over you and Scar will be crowned King.

Whoever has the most votes at the end of the day will be banished OR with 7 players alive it takes 4 to reach majority before the deadline.

No matter how successful anyone is, it means just about nothing.

Rip, Alison.

Let's make the comeback of our lives, the HALF of you that are town.

I'll sleep pretty soon, but I'll be around for a bit. Don't do anything rash please.

Do we set up a voting order? Or do we do unofficial votes, like Alison suggested? I don't ever think I've been in hammer mylo. Votes are still changable though.

I don't know when you were in the D1 towncore. You were nearly executed and the only person who expressed strong trust in you was I think nanook. I think you are the Godfather and I really dislike your pushes this phase.

I should have posted while Alison was still alive but I was busy with irl stuff. I don't think I will scumread Urist despite being so inactive yesterday and saying "oof why vote Lavendar". I do think she should have just voted Michelle if she thought she was scummy. But she is green checked and the idea of her being godfather with of her logs is hard to imagine or it's super well player, i don't know im open to it though

When I said "our" towncore I meant mine and Dizzy's.
You know that I am probably going to vote for Michelle tomorrow yeah? The window to banish 1612 has passed (for now), that's why I was so upset that it landed on Lavender.
Yes if you are so upset Lavendar was being tunneled by Michelle and Alison, why not do something about it? I feel like you jsut let it happen. not just you like everyone and they just parked their vote on me and didn't listen to any of the things that i had to say and repeat.
speedchuck wrote: Mon Jul 20, 2020 9:00 am Literally MYLO tomorrow. Anyone who encourages complacency about the gamestate should be investigated.

Dizz its clearly a hard game if its mylo and we haven't gotten a single red flip. And you thought it was me or Lavendar yesterday and now you aren't trying to gamesolve anymore? I don't know I feel like both you and MP7 didn't actually try yesterday which is really strange considering it was Alsion's last day and our last misbanish.

Jeraldooo (the person you replaced ) had really coasty logs. I do think its something to re-evaluate since you are bringing really strong town vibes and relatable urgency from a mylo situation. I do want to talk about why you still think I am scummy here because you kinda just parked your vote on me instead of talking to Lavendar and michelle yesterday. We had one misbanish to use. Why no urgency yesterday back then?

speedchuck wrote: Mon Jul 20, 2020 9:10 am If I'm going to play this game I will need some TL;DR summaries.

Like, for example, why did we lynch Lav? This is not a posture question. I want to know so I can evaluate people.
Okay I said this before but based off his meta gameplay, he is always super goofy (people sussed him for his weird way of talking and his fake cop claim), I think that's NAI
He also showed GENUINE frustration for being tunneled by you and gave so much effort into his legacy info that in my opinion I have never seen with Lavendar Goofy Mafia. He would usually jsut accept defeat and say oh well or set up wrong list of reads to mislead town for false info. It seemed very genuine and I have seen nothing from Michelle to suggest that she is town except for your one case Day 1 interaction with her swapping off of you.
The quote that Michelle quotes was not scummy at all, at worst it was wrong town mindset
The quote that YOU mentioned was a bit scummy and but after looking at the context, I think he was just speaking his mind on what was happening. I mean isn't that the reason you searched Urist n1? You thought he was scummy for trying to push you and Lavendar had similar thoughts which is why he said something that can be taken out of context.

In the end after looking at quotes and the game state, its jsut a selfish personal read on him. He keeps it real light and considering the emotion i've seen in his defense, I don't think it's his character to do that as mafia, only town. But I am a big sucker for acting so hopefully I am not tunneled here
TL;DR on yesterday : Alison and Lavendar were pushing reasons (some were logical and appeared scummy) on Lavendar. I had a strong personal read on Lavendar and thought some of the quotes that Michelle were using were being taken out of context. People parked a vote on me saying I had too much information when it was just literally me defending him and giving my gut feeling so I was being pushed. So speedchuck , I really want to hear your thoughts on me because it seems like to me you have urgency today and I think you didn't participate at all for looking at Lavendar and Michelle. You are telling us that you are frustrated how some players are complacent but to me, you were also very complacent yesterday . But i get it if it was the weekend and people were busy, my weekdays are when I unfortunately have no time.

Alright I'm done catching up! Pfiouh, that was quite a read.

First impressions is that either we're in a world where it's just as "easy" as speedchuck - Michelle - X, either we're in a really scary world where Dyslexicon and M Plus 7 are wolves.

Dyslexicon M Plus 7 Do you still consider each other to be lock town?

Some thoughts about everyone:
* I've played with Alison and Dyslexicon in Space Invaders and I'm pretty glad I don't have to sort the former lol
I'm feeling pretty good about Dyslexicon, he's basically a copy-pasted version of town Dyslexicon in Space invaders. I've never seen his wolf game though, so I'm keeping a healthy bit of paranoia. Probably not voting here today.

* I also played 2 games with Michelle when we were both town, we found and vibed we each other pretty early both time (it was in another language though). In this game I didn't find her posting super townie so that's concerning. Need more interactions with her today.

* M Plus 7 is universally town read but I don't get why? She's been kinda all over the place and had good intuitions during EoD1 (the wagons being v/v/v) & EoD3 (Lavender flipping town) but didn't actually follow them so eh. I think she's the most likely deepwolf. Might vote here.

* 1612's reaction to the fake check felt townie and it was pretty consensus itt, I don't understand how he suddenly became a wagon during EoD3. iirc protocultures was the only one to really townread Lavender so I think he might have felt like his reads were a bit overlooked and it resulted in him putting himself in a corner (does that make sense?) Probably not voting here today.

* I think speedchuck's EoD3 has been really opportunistic and his wagon dissolving feels like a wolfy save. I want to take a closer look at their ISO today. Might vote here.

* I think Urist should never be voted out today so I'm choosing to not invest energy sorting this slot for the moment. Not voting here today.

ehh, sorry. not saying you aren't trying. its just a sense of urgency and paranoia i guess that speed mentioned? well mp7 is super positive but it seems like its just her personaility to be uplifting every game. And so are you! sorry but yeah just seems a bit abrubt to say this is an easy game but I am just bad at scumhunting so i cant speak for everyone. This game has been a (pleasant) train wreck and its a hard game and i am super invested and don't want to screw this up in mylo

You think they are blatantly pocketing one another, patting each other's back with "oh wow if mp7/dizzy is big brain mafia, i will be so embarrassed"?

Thanks for thoughts, Carot.
And yes, I do still read MP town. And if I follow her off a cliff I hope it at least will be the sexy Thelma and Louise version. I feel like I've had a "dumb" reason to read her town, mostly, and that is just the pure excitement from feeling we are both town for ONCE. Then I also felt the same "click" in her brain as I got when I brought up Proto's read on Lav last day phase, and when she said later that she was glad I brought it up. I don't know if this will make sense to you, but I think it will make sense to her (?) I realise that this might not be convincing if someone likes to argue that we are magicians and somehow both scum. I'm town, and I don't know what more I can do this game to show that, and I do believe MP is town as well. So my pool is small, but it only takes one misstep.

I just skimmed 1612's ISO. I don't feel like voting there today. The effort in some of those posts makes me think that the many posts about 'sorry I'm not there' were genuine.

I don't have much reason not to vote Michelle.

I tinfoil MP7 over Dizzy, but it's hard to say. MP being inconsistent is pretty town meta for her.
