Bread Mafia

A game for 15 players

Game Mechanics

• 15 players (12 town and 3 mafia)
• 48 hour days & 24 hour nights
• Thread will be locked at night
• All phases will start/end at 7PM PST
• A player will be baked everyday, rather than being lynched (this is merely for flavor)
• Everyone is a different bread. Your bread is not indicative of alignment, and can be freely discussed
• Hammers are enabled. A hammer will occur when any player (or no-bake option) achieves 2/3 of the player vote
• A tie between two players in the EOD vote will be decided by the mafia. A tie between a player and no-bake will result in that player being baked
• No Double-targeting
• The following matrix will be used to select non-vanilla rolls for this game

This particular matrix is inspired by M Plus 7's 4x4 matrix that she's run here a few times.

1 row or column from the above matrix will be randomly selected. The four rolls in that row/column will be used in this game. In addition to the four selected rolls, there are 9 vanilla townies and 2 mafia goons.

Below are the PMs players will receive for their corresponding roll.

1-Shot Town Cop - You are a 1-Shot Town Cop. Once in the game, at night, you may check another player's alignment.
Town Miller - You are a Town Miller. If another player checks your alignment, you will appear as mafia.
1-Shot Town Vigilante - You are a 1-Shot Town Vigilante. Once in the game, at night, you may kill another player.
Town Jailkeeper - You are a Town Jailkeeper. Every night, you may target another player to both protect from all night kills and rollblock.
Town Rollblocker - You are a Town Rollblocker. Every night, you may target another player to rollblock.
Town Sick Innocent Child (D1-4 reveal) -You are a Town Sick Innocent Child (d1-4 reveal). Your roll will be confirmed by the host to be town publicly at the start of either day 1, 2, 3, or 4. However, you will die at the start of the following day. At the start of the game, the host will randomize which of the four days will apply to the game. You will be unaware of which day has been selected.
1-Shot Town Cop (N0 only) - You are a 1-Shot Town Cop (N0 only). At the end of Day 0, the host will randomly select another player and reveal their alignment to you.
Vanilla Townie - You are a Vanilla Townie, you have no roll.
1-Shot Mafia Vigilante - You are a 1-Shot Mafia Vigilante. Once in the game, at night, you may kill another player.
Mafia Godfather - You are a Godfather. If another player checks your alignment, you will appear as town.
Mafia Goon - You are a Mafia Goon. You have no roll.
Mafia Jack of All Trades - This player has three one-time use roll abilities; These abilities will differ based on the used setup. The abilities could be any of the following combinations.
Setup A: 1-shot night kill, 1-shot rollblock, 1-shot silence
Setup B: 1-shot night kill, 1-shot protection, 1-shot roll cop
Setup 1: 1-shot night kill, 1-shot silence, 1-shot roll cop
Setup 2: 1-shot night kill, 1-shot rollblock, 1-shot protection

Rules

1) Please be respectful to your fellow players, host, and mods. Our Community Guidelines help frame what we expect from our players.
2) BTSC (behind the scenes chat) is only permitted in host-designated locations. In this case, that location will be a discord channel each for mafia and for spectators.
3) No editing or deleting of posts in the game thread.
4) You are permitted one post-death "Bleh" post which may not contain on-topic material and must be posted in {dead} red.
5) This is the Host Color. Try not to use it.
6) I expect you to post and vote each day phase. If you aren't doing this to a reasonable extent, I will reach out to you to check in. If I can't reach you, I will replace or modkill.
7) If you feel like you might break a rule, message me first, either via PM or Discord. I will clarify with you what is or isn't allowed as quickly as I can. Broken rules will result in compensation or modkill, at my discretion.

The ingredients have been gathered. The dough has been mixed and kneaded, but before we can proceed further, we must let it rise.

This game will have a 24-hour Day 0 which will begin 7PM PST (~20 hours from this post). The thread is up now for your viewing, but it will not be unlocked until Day 0 begins. Rolls will be sent out when Day 0 starts.

It is now Day 0, a period that is intended to give everyone a chance to check in. Everyone has received their roll. Day 1 will begin in 24 hours when Day 0 ends, at which point you may vote on who to bake.
