and it'd be a bit tough for me to really pinpoint it - tutuu had a post on it that i felt was an ok explanation even though that's not the entire thing. it mostly just seems like he has an idea about the game / is reading it + he has his own thought processes in the back of his mind. i can see the gears spinning when he asks questions, drawing lines, connecting dots etc etc

it feels like he's extremely comfortable too - which is a tough job to pull off in a playerlist like this, you can take a look at his last game for reference where i think the difference is pretty stark.

I'm not seeing JPIC drawing lines and connecting dots between players; he's come off primarily as focused on self defense to my reading, and his lack of contribution to gamesolving has been cited by some as a major reason to scumread him. Can you give me a few examples of where he's done that?

Re: comfort level, wasn't he town in GOC? Why would JPIC suddenly become more comfortable in this playerlist if he was town again?

i thought it was strange that JPIC used the GoC multiple times to defend himself from accusations in this game. i've noticed that scum under pressure have a tendency to engage in that type of repetition, and the "i've done this as town before too!" defense is the type of defense that wolves tend to default to quite a lot

I'm fairly pessimistic about the way the game has started actually. It was chugging along fine until people started to force content. Now it's just a mess. The Esooa/SPF and Esooa/Jay interactions were awful to slog through and I've only gotten one nugget of information out of it. tutuu's sticking to her usual NAI routine so I can't read her, and my usual daycop checks haven't really shown themselves in the thread.

I think it's pushing it to call it a progression on Odd. He's clearly questioning/disagreeing with Odd's posts, but it's in the context of self-defense. He's not reaching out to try to read Odd based on Odd's interaction with someone else, but directly refuting/undermining Odd's attempt to paint him as mafia. It's certainly not something that allows me to shake off the notion that JPIC doesn't have an interest in examining the players in the game and their alignments outside of the context of them attacking him. In other words, if Odd hadn't been scumreading JPIC and had continued attacking Sloonei, would JPIC have been interested in Odd's posts at all? I'm not convinced he would.
