I think there are players out there who would seek to do this if they were mafia. I do not know enough about tutuu's game to say that she's one of them.

The last couple of pages make this game feel chaotic. That's not my favorite thing. Still, I think we're okay. I am personally going to take a step back now and incubate on the game. Being away from the thread helps to find equilibrium and sort one's true feelings in the absence of emotion-evoking new posts. If anyone else feels similarly about the state of the game thread, I encourage you to do the same for a little while (but not too long).

We're gonna be fine. We just have to tend to our garden a bit. Someone's gonna punch me in the face one day for the goofy zen things I say in Mafia games.

My only experience of marmot is that he is silly when mafia and pretty serious when town. My sample size is only three games so I acknowledge i need more data.

i no longer felt comfortable with my vote on fingersplints, and the concerns that i had about marmot yesterday have not been alleviated in the slightest by his posting today.. i got the impression that he may have been trying to play up the dichotomy of tutuu/myself

I had mild suspicions of both of you, and then you starting butting heads, or at least tutuu starting calling you scum. That's when I happened to voice said suspicions.

But of course tutuu's back to townreading you (as of this post of yours), which is also my qualm with her.

honestly there's way too much random posting rn that's so tangential I can't actually work through it atm and my current opinion is just lynch into them so I'm starting with tsp like mac suggested

plus he's been scummy

the entire dynamic surrounding me was bizarre - there was a large concentration of pressure/suspicion built primarily off of conjecture, and then the pressure completely evaporated when i gave the slightest pushback. i don't know what to make of it, to be honest

marmot was the person that i found the most suspicious during that entire dynamic - i felt that he jumped in to make a post that signal boosted the suspicion against me (and tutuu) without actually showing an interest in finding a wolf between us

You're one of the few players I'd paid attention to because it was recommended (by JJJ I think) that I iso you. I thought you showed equity for either alignment, I just hadn't really posted as such until after I saw tutuu's handling of you.

The game is dynamic and I'm looking at other players too. Why do you expect me to focus on you and tutuu?

in all of the games I've played with Marmot recently where he was town, he took the position of a high posting contrarian. in fallout he got into a big fight with sloonei etc.. In this game, on the other hand, he's posted rather little (that can be explained by other factors) and while in the thread largely followed the town leaders as far as I can tell. This strikes me as off.

i felt like i was the instigator in my Big Fight with Marmot.
