Wasn't really a hedge? I scumread off of something that I saw with my own reasoning, which has seem to have worked in the past couple of games for me. I didn't see anyone else going for Falcon or remember why they were but I just expressed it was weird of Falcon to question something that was a joke from Honey.

But I did say they (Honey and Falcon) looked better interacting with each other.

It wasn't as bad as Mansnick's "WHAT!?!?!!?!?" which I'm still just grossed out by.

Is it cowardly shade or hedging off a read? Which one is it?

When Honey is town majority of her responses to anyone scumreading or voting her would be "I'm town, what the fuck are you doing? Fuck off with that shit." Like her despise in people voting her when she's town, or not townreading her in general, is extremely strong.

It's a hedge in the sense that you're pointing out something scummy but then reversing course on it and saying "oh but the interaction as a whole is fine". It's a textbook scummy move because it allows you to generate suspicion on a townie but have the plausible deniability of saying "but I said it was fine!" if they get exed later on. This is why I also described it as cowardly shade - it's an attempt to make someone look bad, but you don't have the bravery to stick to it.

And I hate "Kill the low posters" as an assessment.

Many low posters (Creature notably) resolve themselves when given time.

Other low posters can be good targets for anyone on town with a kill or investigative power.

Town wins by creating and utilizing information in thread. By going after the low posters you're providing scum with an easy vote that has low impact, and not only that, they can easily push towards town in the low posters with little accountability and no way for anyone to call them on picking that person. It's bad or worse, take your pick.

This directly contradicts your claim that it was all a big joke. I don't think being insecure and being the top poster are mutually exclusive, either. I don't think it's wrong to scumread someone if they have 50 posts, 2 are scummy, and the other 48 aren't impressive either.

ok so the characteristics i've noticed most from powerwolves is that they stand to the sidelines come in when needed to throw suspicion on the right slots that threaten their wincon then sit back when the town is consumed in chaos so they destroy each other power town would be less likely to take such a reserved place and when you were mentioned in the thread many times throughout that like 18 hour period you were absent i would've expected someone who is cool confident town to be able to enter and exit the thread with ease

I enter and exit threads based on when I can do so, or when it fits my schedule. You can ask anyone here; I have no problem entering threads as either alignment. Haven't played much with Creature. I'm told he can slank as town or scum, but he always slanks as scum. Last game I played with him he showed some effort and I gave him a townread; I later recanted it because of POE reasons, and he was wolf.

The way I see it, 100% of that slot's content is scum indicative? Because the other 83% of his posts were justifying himself.

Don't get me wrong, he might as well be overwhelmed town. But objectively that slot is just wolfy.

I know that all players are biased in the sense that lynching a slot like that feels lazy and like not playing the game.
