I'm not bad. I didn't switch the lynch. I didn't have someone else switch the lynch for me.

I didn't "turn" on you--I realized that boogs, whom I now understand to be civ, may have been onto something all along.
With six (at the time) people left, and the game sitting on the edge of a knife for all parties, why would anyone use a lynch switch to save anyone but themselves or a teammate? If this hypothetical evil wanted Dana dead so badly they could have just NKed her. If you're not aligned with the person who switched the lynch (and I'm assuming they're bad because Dana was clearly not) then they'd benefit just as much from your death as hers.

Also, which is it? Were the baddies trying to frame you or kill Dana? Because if they wanted you to die they could have just let you get lynched then NK Dana without using their biggest gun and risking their own neck(s) later on. I'm sorry but it's just too obvious what's gone on. If there had been more people left in the game... maybe, but at this point nobody is going to be using abilities like a switch to do anything but save themselves.

Both is venture to guess. Frame me and kill a civ without having to use an nk. Plus it keeps the focus on it their team for yet another day. It might not be what you would do, but that doesn't mean pone would do it.

Bullz makes a good point. Why waste a lynch switch on you to frame you when you would be dying anyway and they wouldnt care if you were Civ anyway. They could have taken out Dana or me or whoever at night.

And lose a lynch switch. A super valuable weapon at the best of times, pretty much a godsend if you've still got one at endgame. You just don't waste those. Someone might, but seriously there are so few people left now that you can't really predict how anything will go. I've never known anyone who, as a baddie so close to winning, would take such a risk. Would you? I think you're more careful than that. I think you'd keep hold of a switch only to save yourself or a teammate and buy another day.
Boogs wrote:Bullz makes a good point. Why waste a lynch switch on you to frame you when you would be dying anyway and they wouldnt care if you were Civ anyway. They could have taken out Dana or me or whoever at night.
Exactly. The baddies have a kill. If they want someone dead they use their kill. That's like the first lesson of being a baddie. If they want two people dead and one is about to get lynched, they'd call that good luck and take out their other enemy the next night. They wouldn't pull off an elaborate scheme using their possibly best defense in order to kill their other enemy first.

Linki - then who was pone? :p

Yeah, I'd consider it. If there were no suspicion on me and I could buy another day of someone else having all the suspicion? I might risk it for sure.

And I've seen baddies do crazier things.

I don't have an explanation for why the lynch switched. I'm trying to think of possibilities.

By my estimates, based partly on assuming that in a balanced game, there are the same number of players on the baddie teams, there are 2 players left on the other baddie team. I'm on team just me. Maybe, if there are major built in protections, there's only 1 on the other team, but I somehow doubt that.

That means there's 1 civ left. I'm not buying that LC is indy. And I give him much cred for totally snowing me this game, because at this point, I doubt he's civ. I just don't think it likely.

I implore the civ that's left to work with me. And if LC is indy, or even civ, and there's only 1 other baddie out there, then it would be lovely if he could change his vote.

Nope. Not a baddie. Just someone who got unfairly fake infodumped against after your team had silenced me. You have every chance of winning and you know it. Nobody is falling for this.

You conveniently leave out that not lynching you today means you win, according to your own belief about the alignments of who is left. It's a very self-serving theory.
No, because I'll still be in the minority. I can't win. I've accepted that. But at this point I'd rather see the civies win than the other baddies--I think they've played a better game.
After the way boogs has played his role he most certainly doesn't deserve a win imo. But regardless, if he lets you live today you'll kill tonight and it will be 1v1 with you probably winning. You're wrong about everything regardless but stop acting all noble, you're just making a last, desperate attempt at winning.
So you're admitting you're bad? Not lynching me today means I live another day. If I'm not lynched, I'll go with whomever I am told for the kill. Or skip the kill.

I have no chance at winning. I know that. But I think the civs have played a more noble game and I'd rather give them the win than the other baddies.
Nope. Not a baddie. Just someone who got unfairly fake infodumped against after your team had silenced me. You have every chance of winning and you know it. Nobody is falling for this.
So you think LC is bad?

I know that the other baddie team has at least 1 person. I know it's likely there's 2. So, either you and LC are both bad or just one of you...you think it's LC?

If there's definitely another baddie then it would have to be LC I guess but there's no guarantee another team exists. Canuck could have died to a redirect and you could just be using that as evidence of two teams. It doesn't matter anyway. Boogs needs to vote you and then if the game isn't over we'll know you were right. Either way if there are two teams the civs have already lost and you're just trying to make sure it isn't your team in third place.

Knuk was on my team. We did not have the kill last night. There is another team. I suspect you're on it, tbh.

If I am not killed, then the civies still have a chance. If I am killed then the other baddies will for sure win.

If the civs keep me around this round, then they stilll have a chance to win. If they do not, then their chance is gone. I will cooperate with them because I think they deserve it more than the other baddies.

I hope they realize I have integrity and that my word is worth something. If they want a chance to win, they will vote with me.

Nobody is questioning your integrity. I do question whether you think I'm stupid. If there are two baddies left, regardless of their individual alignments, one has won and you want to be that one. What you are doing now is trying to butter up Boogs so he won't vote for you. I don't see why else you'd be so adamant that the civs deserve to win when you even admit you aren't one.

I'm going to try to go back to bed as I have insomnia and a busy day tomorrow but I hope boogs does the right thing and doesn't fall for your obvious pandering.

I know I can't win. I think that other than me there are 2 baddies and 1 civ. Or maybe 1 baddie, 1 civ, 1 indy.

At this point, I'd rather see a civ win rather than an other baddie win.

Your protestations make me strongly believe you're on the other baddie team and that boogs was right all along.

Unlike you, I do want a civ win. It's why I've voted for you. Boogs never had info on me and he knows it. I actually went to the hosts to ask why he was pushing info he didn't have and whether that was actually allowed.

I didn't imply that my opinion was based on Boogs' posts....although I think I knoew where he was coming from. Regardless, my current suspicion of you comes from 1. your posts and 2. numbers.

And I do want civs to win over other baddies. They have played a better game.

Regardless of whether or not you really think the civs have played a better game (I don't and I am one! Notice how I keep saying that even now), you must still want to win. Your whole argument revolves around Boogs not voting for you and then you promising not to kill him, but even if that did happen and you really didn't kill anyone at night, there'd be three left during the day. Your and Boogs' misguided alliance would lynch the third person and you'd kill Boogs to win. We know for a fact you're bad. You're the only person we can say that of, even if you hadn't admitted it it would be obvious. Better to lynch the devil you know. This conversation is just going round in circles now so I only hope that Boogs is smart enough to make the right choice for once in this game.

Wow this exploded fast! Honestly this sounds crazy, but Lorab is right. She just admitted to being bad. If I dont lynch Bulzeye or LC today if they are a possible team, I can't win this game and will be outnumbered if I dont die tonight. I've suspected they are on a team, but think LC is Indy. Just to be safe, I need to break them up today. I'm sorry Bullzeye, i know we haven't seen eye to eye this game but to further my game and win this thing finally, I've got to vote you out today to put me in the best place to win. I know you are going to be upset, but it's my best shot to make sure you and LC aren't really teammates and I survive the next day.

Dude you realise you may have just given the game to LoRab? I've been on your side this whole time and you never accepted that, and now you're actually willing to pay the price and lose the game. You'll possibly discover your mistake soon enough. I know you play to win so I'm surprised you've gone this way. Your best hope now is that a tie flips in my favour and she dies. I had hoped you wouldn't fall for her flattery and begging and I'm sorry you did.

Also if me and LC were a team you'd have lost anyway. If I was indy I'd be working with the civs. She'll NK you tonight if she survives this, I can almost promise you. Congratulations, you've given the game to the baddies.

Not necessarily. I think I know what I am doing if the tie makes you die today.

And what is that? Getting NK'ed by LoRab or getting lynched by her? You realise that by accepting the word of an admitted(!) baddie, you are accepting what could easily be a pack of lies. It's all baddies do. We know she's bad. She could be lying about everything, Canuck's death could have been a switch/deflect, there could be just one team with the ability to recruit. There was at least one SK around at the beginning and SVS' power involved reflecting abilities pointed at her. I just can't believe you fell for her blatant flattery. I thought better of you. The whole 'civs deserve to win' thing is an act. She wants to win. She doesn't want us to. She is not your ally, she is your enemy and you know it. If we'd been playing best it wouldn't have taken us 11 days to lynch a baddie and she knows it. I just hope luck (or the LORB) is on my/our side today. I believe we can still pull this off if I survive and the game doesn't simply end.

Anyway, I have lectures and possibly the pub after to go to. If I should die before I return, GG. I forgive you for losing us the game Boogs :p
