I'll still try to keep up and post my thoughts but I likely won't be as involved as I'd like to be.

Night 7 End/Day 8 Start: Double the Killing

It is now Day 8. You have 48 hours to lynch TWO people. In addition, votes in this lynch won’t be moveable.

Powers:
1st) Nest Egg (When played, allows the user to hide however much of their money they wish on the space they are currently on. On their next time around the board, they will get $150+their money back if they pass the space, and their money back+$250 and a random power if they land on it. Hiding more money increases the chances of a better power, by allowing the player to choose powers they do not want to get). - Starts at $75
2nd) Windfall (Makes the next amount of money the player who uses this card gets be at least double what it would be, with the possibility of being as high as x5. If used on a hotel payment, the payer pays the normal amount, but the receiver gets 2-5x the listed amount). - Starts at $200
3rd) Own The Block: This power allows you to take control the side of the board of your starting property. In order to use it, you must have BTSC or the cards of your could-have-been teammates of your starting property, and at least 1 card from every other set on that side (meaning 1 of each colour at least, the railroad, and the utility if applicable). Once used, any money that would go to the bank from people landing on such spaces, instead goes to you. - Starts at $200

Pennsylvania RR gained $50 in rent this turn. Since Short Line is still on the market, it looks like one of the living RR's (Reading or B&O) managed to acquire Pennsylvania RR. It also looks like they don't have BTSC yet.

Although you were wrong about the Pacific factor, I'm still very suspicious that five players have now landed on $1000+ hotels and survived. I'm sorry, but if I land on one of those things, my game is over. (I hope I roll an 11 tonight!)

One of my two votes today will be for one of those five people, because one of them is a red or a railroad or just someone with too much money. Too much money! How do you not die when you land on those? Maybe there's a green in there. I don't know.

My other vote today will be going to Turnip Head. I believe he's Water Works despite the arguments against it. Several other people seem to have compelling reasons to think he's a Railroad (unless Keys not being WW debunks that completely, not totally sure on that one). IF my conjecture that MP and zeek were reds (fortified by the fact that zeek, whose role was known to the Utilities, was killed recently by them), then both baddie teams are now in control of a Red Death Hotel. I can't escape the belief that Turnip Head is a baddie, and I'm going to vote for him again.

Well, if you only take my last post and literally no other posts in the game, then yes, that's the case on TH.

The one thing about following the money, or voting for people who have landed on the reds and survived is that according to the records I've been keeping people like DP or DF could have survived but just barely having no big influxes of cash. My records of course are without rent since I don't know who is who so I'm dealing with the bare minimum someone could have just from what I can discern about board movements. I acknowledge the possibility that they could have a lot of money, I'm just saying they could have survived without so much. They could be sitting on the position where the next time a payment is required of them for something they could go bankrupt.

I'm unsure about Turnip Head being a baddie. Part of my problem is I can't remember all the evidence against him for being WW and I never did understand the theory that he's a railroad. But with that said, I have no other suspicions right now. I think some re-reading is in order if I can manage to do it over the holiday.

@boo are we getting an extra day in this day to make up for the holiday? Others may not even want to do that but I thought I would ask anyway. I'm going to have very little time today and tomorrow.

IF I land on GO, and don't have any bad luck re Chance/Comm Chest, I can survive another Hotel. I spent nothing except for the Protect, Sabie spent nothing before me. I won $100 in the Sevens, I won LCs $50, and I won $900 for this on Night 6:

13. S~V~S: Started on Vermont Avenue. Moved 2 (1+1) to Just Visiting. 2nd roll = 7 (3+4) moved to Community Chest (got $50 for every other living player from bank)

...and I counted 18 people on the poll that day, but I have not confirmed this from boo. I guess I also have gotten a few small rents from my card, although I have not confirmed that either. But knowing what I had the last time I checked, plus this, I am OK for one more Hotel stay. I hope I get to avoid that and keep camping out, though.

Juliets, Llama's case for me being Water Works was that I voted for BWT late. This evidence refused to take into account that I was the second person in the game to be suspicious of BWT after Epi and helped get him lynched. I brought this up multiple times, my accusers continued to ignore it. Then LC brought up a new case that I was Water Works because I suspected LoRab. In this scenario, Lorab is a railroad and I knew her role. I mainly debunked this by saying I should have tried to NK her in that case, but I guess it wasn't good enough for LC. Yet he wants to spend one vote on me today, but he also doesn't plan to vote for Lorab. So I suppose even he doesn't believe fully in his own case.

The case for me being a railroad was that Keys was Water Works and knew my role. This has been debunked as well.

So yeah. I've been talked about all game, and nobody is around for the holidays, and we have to lynch 2 people, so I fully expect to get lynched today by a bunch of people who aren't paying attention and just vote for me because they don't have any better ideas. Even though I feel like the cases on me don't even make sense and I've been fighting all game to show this, in addition to doing as much as I can to further the civvie cause. If you read my posts in this game, it's pretty evident that I've had the civvies' best interests in mind all game.

I do believe in the case on you, Turnip Head. It's more than just the Lorab thing, I think Llama's points about you are an important factor as well. My suspicion of Lorab as a Railroad is pending what you are. You can bet that I will go after her if you turn out bad.

Now, who is BWT's partner? I would guess someone who voted for him after his lynch became inevitable, after Spacedaisy at least. Maybe Turnip Head of Splintsy-Splints.

Turnip Head singles out Daisy, even though the timing of her vote makes no sense for a teammate. ALso helps that she is not around to defend herself.

I still feel that this is the sketchiest vote all day, and BWT flipping utility makes it even sketchier to me:

I don't think there was a big chance to save BWT yesterday... I felt his lynch was inevitable, like FZ's. Maybe if Metalmarsh had garnered more votes it would have been closer. But it was LC who had the most non-BWT votes, and there was a lot of hesitation to lynch him yesterday.

Whether she's civvie or baddie, Daisy's vote stands out, and needs to be explained.

He pushes this idea for a few posts, when nobody bites, he changes the subject.

We would need to cross reference all of BWT's suspicions with the players that we know landed on a Utility square (and got rolechecked)

He then pleads a frame-up.

Looking back at BWT's posts, it seems he killed Black Rock in an attempt to set me up

Other than that he didn't mention suspicion of many players outside of Boogs and Llama, neither of which have been checked by the uties.

Then Epig makes an admittedly elegant case on Boogs. TH immediately agrees.

This rather misses the point. It is not the fact that he voted late, but that he voted late for BWT specifically, that is consistent with what a teammate would do.

He bid on Electric Company, although he screwed it up, and his vote gave him a $200 boost. Water Works has the most incentive to bid on Electric Company.

Overall, his tone sounds to me like someone who is desperately trying to change the subject to anybody but him. I refuse to let the subject be changed.

And there's other posts he made that put together a broad analysis of your behaviour over time that are sensible. It just makes sense to me.

Metalmarsh, I have to admit, I thought Pennsylvania hadn't been landed on because I was going by checking the board images. I see now that Hannah hit you up on her whirlwind tour around the board, and it makes a lot more sense that you could afford the Hotel landing. I can't change my vote, but how about if I say "hey everyone, my reasons for voting Metalmarsh this time were based on erroneous observations!"

I call bull on your "what part of Llama's case do you agree with?" crap. I saw you ask someone that before, and I think it's a way for you to try and pare down a case to certain points that you can individually refute. Well guess what, being able to offer a perfectly Civvie explanation for each little point of a case doesn't make you a Civvie. It's called looking at a pattern of behaviour. I don't really care that you can offer *an* explanation for each little piece of the analysis individually. It doesn't mean I have to believe everything you say about how things possibly could have been going on with the way you play.

Llama displayed a pattern of behaviour for you that made sense for you being Water Works. You want individual points because any individual point is exactly NOT a pattern. It's not about points, it's about building up a whole, it's a holistic view of Turnip Head.

I'm honoured that you think that my opinion alone is going to get you lynched. A trifle overdefensive, given that what I have seen is more people sympathize with you than accuse you. I hope I'm wrong.

And Llama's "pattern of behavior", his "building up of a whole" as you say, left out all of the points that went against his theory. His case was not whole at all. He only pointed out the things that he wanted to, to make his case look better. He made no mention of my involvement with BWT's lynch or the fact that my late vote means nothing in context.

But if you don't care about any of that, I understand. I'm not on your team, so you won't shed any tears at my wrongful lynch.
