That cartoon crew got loose, and now a Comedian is dead. Isn’t that funny?

But I’m not laughing.

“Markings only mean what someone interprets them to mean.”

Someone told me that once. Forget who.

But after a while the markings won’t matter. The ink that people argue about and get divorced over and start wars for, none of it will matter.

The end is coming, after all.

The streets are extended gutters and the gutters are full of blood and when the drains finally scab over, all the vermin will drown. The accumulated filth of all their sex and murder will foam up about their waists and all the whores and politicians will look up and shout 'SAVE US!'...and I'll look down and whisper

This is going to make solving that Map a huge endeavor

I was out at dinner and got back right at end of day. Just in my reread in the last 30 minutes- that felt like an unnecessarily chaotic end of day. I don’t think I would have switched off LoRab if I had the chance in the moment. But the wagon changing is something to analyze tonite. I wish someone had marked the votes in the last hour and a half or so

DharmaHelper raised an intriguing point about Kate, and I wanted to see if he would take any action at all if I presented the opportunity to start a wagon against somebody he suspected.

He did nothing and continued to yell about how unfairly we were treating him.

Because the players have finite time and attention. The more time that is spent on puzzle solving, the less time is available to spend on reading and rereading the thread, forming theories, making cases, and analyzing voting records.

We already have several people barely participating. I want them focused and on message.

Let’s look at a big picture:

The DH and Lorab wagons were pretty close unless I’m mistaken for most of the last 3 hours. It’s the Quin wagon that was seemingly static. I don’t know if DH is town. He was fighting for air most of the last few pages before end of day, which is probably NAI but I’m not sold on him being mafia just yet.

That Quin wagon, though. Very static. Had an Nonplayer voting there basically all day. And not just any Nonplayer. JaggedJimmyJay. The problem is, we don’t know who JJJ would be rooting for in this game. I believe he entered into BTSC with someone and also has a grasp on the game.
In a vacuum, I think JJJ is very good at rooting out scum, like a truffle pig is particular good at hunting for truffles. But who’s to say he saw the 3p eliminated early and saw the game get harder for mafia and decided to help them?
I don’t actually think that’s the case, and I think we ignored the gift that JJJ gave us in offering his opinion.

That vote was largely talked about but the implications of it were not actually considered publicly.

So anyway, I think all of this to say, I think mafia came out today to sway the thread away from Quin. I should have just stuck to my guns from yesterday.
And I am also guilty of muddying up the waters. I campaigned for LoRab’s demise, and that tunnel brought 2 competing wagons that I think were probably town/town.

Sloonei was a very active contributor in the final bits of this day, and he took it upon himself to make his vote the final pump of air in LoRab’s basketball. Could just be a flailing town trying to do right, but it could also just be making a choice who he wants to try and miselim tomorrow. Maybe DH has a better chance of going over than LoRab did.

All this to say, Sloonei and Quin are in need of scrutiny.
