legacy analysis 2 days after the fact is just weird, and pre flipping associations is terrible play, like forming a team in your mind and slaughtering within that is just very poor play and you'll always be wrong

i don't know whether it's scummy, or if you simply don't know this
Lol ok then.

1) who says I’m committed to slaughtering within them? I think splints might be the answer right now

2) “you’ll always be wrong” is a pretty condescending thing to say. What if I solved the wolfteam? You think this hasn’t happened?

Building worlds and finding associative teams is what I do, and it’s helpful for me. But don’t mistake me for a tunneler unless I suspect svs.
ah, guess you aren’t, i nonetheless find pre flipping very silly

i'm sure that you haven't solved the team, pre flipping is always wrong, i'm 100% sure you haven't solved the team. the rest of my arguments were even more condescending so i'll end this here

i've been taught to find associatives only after flips, never before, while i understand it might be helpful have you ever been 100% right?
Yes.

But I’m under no illusion that it’ll be wrong more often than not. But if I find someone wolfy but can’t find a theory of the game that works, that’s a helpful tool for me. And associative ideas can still be helpful. For example, I dare say you use ‘those two people won’t be w/w’. The ideas aren’t much different unless you tunnel.

w/v and v/v and w/w are as associative as i'll go, building teams is often wrong, although i do agree near lylo if you see a person without any team pairings they're usually town. however we are not near lylo

What are your reads, @lucy?
no other content lol, I reckon they will all have good reads on one another by virtue of birth, and if I poke enough I can just tell if there's a mafia between the 3, and if there is then I start the actual fun. until then it's literally just random voting stage, is it not?
But there are 13 other people playing, not just Kate and her kids. Are you concentrating on them only?
my memory is almost photographic, I'm remembering everything but I don't think anything is alignment indicative as of yet, I don't have too many reads until d2 if you want some self meta that multiple people here can confirm
@Kate no reminding necessary

You continue to misrepresent the argument even though I have clarified multiple times. It is getting to the point where I think it might be intentional.

You continue to misrepresent the argument even though I have clarified multiple times. It is getting to the point where I think it might be intentional.

How do you think D2 would have played out if we had a no-elim D1?

It isn't just info. Also keeping the game moving forward.

35%, he's my top suspect but i don't necessarily want to go there today off the good chance he was civ, overnight i strongly considered tunneling him but decided against it because he found out that his pov this game was incorrect, and i don't think scotty chooses to tunnel me out of all players
So you’re feeling better about him today?
i question your ability to practice law

Well ots certainly not intentional, fyi we all have rsv or some similar miserable virus so I may be a bit foggy minded. I also admit to having neither a crystal ball nor a photographic memory lol :nicenod:

Seriously though, if I misrepresented what you've said I apologize but that's my interpretation of the situation.

You know with the deleter ability, I tend to think that a tie would absolutely have lead to one if you being flipped and then a witch hunt on the other because votes went missing. So even though I kind of disagree that a day one tie kills forward momentum (it obviously would by day 3), I now really do agree with your view for this game.

There’s best practice in dentistry.

In mafia there is no best practice. There’s just people who think their way is best and people who have seen an abundance of styles work well and realise that you can’t science the game into an algorithm.

The reason I’m on a five game win streak as a deepwolf is that too many people think like you. I can beat ‘best practice’ every time but I’m fucked if I think I can beat SVSs gut.

The only good meta in mafia is one that constantly changes and adapts so that wolves can’t play a perfect civ game.

i have no doubt you're a particularly strong wolf, but i haven't played with you before so i'm mostly going in blind with you

are you a cocky wolf btw?

and there is no best practice, no absolute best method, everything works to better or worse degrees. i figure my methodology works similarly well to the methodology and time which you come from

do you think new meta is inherently worse/better/neutral and ultimately depends on the practitioner?
