Have you ever wondered if the same shoe is getting used for all this bug squashing?

The itty bitty remains of ExLight seem like they're mixed together with the others. Come to think of it, the bottom of this shoe looks kinda gross.

Also I am not home. There's a city in my country who was a roman town and after here was a middle age fortress and 300 years ago was built a beautiful star shaped citadel. History comes to life here during a festival who starts today

Like many bug species in the Amazon, there isn’t a lot of information about these katydids out there beyond their initial observation back in the 1800s. What we do know is that they’ve got a sharp mouth and they love using it to hunt other bugs at night. I suspect they have difficulties hugging their friends. Also, did I mention they’re three inches long?

You are the Hyllus diardi, otherwise known as the heavy jumper. This is one of the largest jumping spiders in the world, measuring at around half an inch. While jumping spiders aren’t especially unusual, I just think they’re neat. Despite their method of hunting, they have a very deliberate way of movement that makes them docile and easily managed by humans. I want to be a jumping spider when I grow up.
